Hello ladies!!!!
Kristina: I hope you have a wonderful holiday week! Today is the start of Christmas, tomorrow starts Hannuka... so you have 9 total days of Celebration, right? Woohoo! I hope all goes well and that you have the perfect holiday!
Amanda: I am glad everything is going so well with your "day care kid". Sleep is a wonderful thing, and I am glad she is sleeping for you. Are her and Abbie getting along? I bet she loves having a playmate there. --- Yes a donation to the March of Dimes is a wonderful organization... and I think that is a wonderful idea. I do alot of work with the March of Dimes, and they have done so much for so many people... and with each day they have many more advances. It is amazing how many people all over the world have benefited from the MOD. Yes, please do that... it would be a wonderful gift....
I GET TO TEST IN LESS then 19 hours!
Have a wonderful Holiday week!
Love and hugs!

Is this to good to be true? ? Do not get excited yet..... Ok ladies, it is 6:30 am on Christmas Day. I tested at 2 am, even earlier then I said I would. I waited and prayed while I was sitting on the toilet.... and looked at the test after 3 minutes. I used a + or - EPT test.... then a few minutes after that (basically after the shock of it being negative again wore off) I got up... and looked at it but this time under the light. I do not have my glasses on... and I can see a very very very very faint line. So I turn the stick at an angle, and yes... I can see the line BUT IT IS SO light.... I think I am willing myself to see it, I knock it up to being tired and go back to bed.... 6:20am I get up to pee again, and look at the SAME test... I can still see the line. I check my cervix, it is still hard and I have a bit of yellowish creamy/eggwhite CM. Not sure what is going on... I do not want to get excited... but maybe my Christmas miracle will come true. I want to test again, but it is 6:34am on Christmas Day I live in the middle of NO WHERE and EVERYTHING IN a 30 mile radius is closed AND THAT WAS MY ONLY TEST.... what to do..... As of right now, at least until someone else sees the line or I get a "real" BFP I am going to stay call and NOT get excited..... I just want to give you an update like I said I would. Merry Christmas! Jacque

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, we have opened our gifts... I will post photos later so you can see all that we got, and how cute Kailey was opening her gifts.

Note to self, EPT test are not error proof. I compared my test to those on POAS.com, and I did get a FALSE positive. I woke up this morning to Mike leaving, he came back with 5 pregnancy test. I took one... and it was a BFN. We were both devastated...... I am really glad I did not get my hopes up. A few minutes later Mike told me he wanted me to go get one of those at home sperm test.... I have talked about them a lot, but never got one. I was scared that the results would not be good... So I went to Walgreens (and of course saw EVERYONE I knew) and picked up the test. He took it right away - it was like a little spunk chemistry set.... lol - and well, it was very very very positive! We were supposed to wait 72 hours since his last ejaculation.. we had sex on Christmas Eve, about 28 hours ago and it was still that positive, so he has a ton of swimmers!
So, the good news it that I am ovulating and Mike is potent.... we must just be one of those couples that take between 6-12 months to conceive, after all.... that is the average. So, here is to Month 7 of TTC and an October baby!
Thanks for all of your support ladies.

Jacque-Oh I so hoped for a Christmas BFP for you!!! Next month, next month!!! I'm so glad you had a good Christmas anyway. Tomorrow is the big US for me-cross your fingers that they will be able to tell the sex!!! We had a good Christmas and Abbie got way too many presents. I am going to bed now-I am so tired from cleaning up the leftover Christmas mess. I will post after my US tomorrow!

Hey Jacque-I just reread your post-AF hasn't shown up yet, has she? Maybe you're not out yet!!! I've got my fingers crossed. I'm glad Mike's swimmers seem to be just fine. You know that when the time is right your baby will come to you.
Well I am excited about the US today, but also scared. I just want to see that the baby is okay and then maybe I can breathe a sigh of relief (doubtful!). I hate that having the m/c has made me not enjoy this pregnancy as much as I should-I just worry all the time. Well after a healthy baby I would definitely like a boy. I don't really have any feelings one way or another- boy or girl. With Abbie I was sure she was a boy until the moment the US tech said girl. So I think I will be surprised either way. My mom bought some neutral baby clothes/blankets/bibs for the baby for Christmas, so that was nice. But even the neutral clothes look girly to me. If it's a boy I have some serious selling to do on EBay with all of Abbie's baby clothes! I will post later with the results of my US, keep your fingers crossed for healthy!!!

SOOOOOOOOOOOO.............
IT"S A.......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
They couldn't tell!!!!! It's alright though because they said I would need to come back again in a few weeks because they couldn't see the valves of the heart clearly either so they need to wait until the baby is bigger so that they can get better pictures. But the baby looked fine with all of his/her parts and all that. It was such a relief to see the baby moving and kicking and appearing healthy. ;D
They also thought that my dates were off (I tried to tell them), but they weren't sure until the radiologist took a look so next week when I see my Dr. we'll see if they change my due date. I don't really care because my baby looked healthy!!!! YAY!!!
I hope you girls are having a good week and I'll talk to you soon!

WOW that stinks but thank god everything else is fine with the baby. Hopefully soon enough you will know the sex of the baby. I will be shy of 3 days turning 20wks so my doc said that we should be able to tell the sex only if the baby cooperates with the tech. I guess we will see on the Jan 19th.
Do you know when the heart values develop and did they schedule your level 2 sonogram to early? Do you think you are due earlier or later in June?
Have a Happy & Healthy New Year!!!!

I will post more later... but for now I wanted to let you know that..... I caved, Mike made me.... I am once again charting, you can click on my ticker and it will take you to my FF chart... so now you can all look at my chart and obsess with me each and every month of TTC about how "this" is the month.... yippee! The good news is that we signed up for a year long subscription, so if all falls into place I will get a BFP this cycle so all of the money we paid for the entire year will go to waste... lol, well I guess there is always the FF pregnancy site... not that I will need it! and Jacque

Amanda: I agree, "neutral" clothing looks girly.... pastel yellow and green are not "boy" colors in my opinion... but they work. Soon you will know what you are going to have and you will be able to start shopping!!! Have you started the babies room yet? I am so happy that your baby looks perfect. The fact that both you and Kristina are having perfect pregnancies after a m/c gives me so much hope!!! -- In all of the time we talked while you were TTC you NEVER mentioned talking to an RE about Clomid or testing of any sort.... most people do.... I was wondering, what kept you from doing so? Was it the faith that you got pregnant twice and you knew you could do it again? I was just wondering because that is how I feel.... and some people have started asking if we want to see an RE... I do not want to, but I do not know how to answer their question... just was wondering if you had any input.
Kristina: The big day is just right around the corner, what do you and your hubby think you are having? I am so excited, just think within a month we should know what you and Amanda are both having!!
Ok ladies.... this month is back to charting full force and then some!
This month we are:
Charting Temps - no brainier, I am temping orally with a BBT
Charting CM - Once again common sense, will be doing this the same way everyone else does...
Charting CP - I think I am finally getting the hang of this one.....
Using OPK's - I was using the Answer brand... now this time I bought Clear Blue Easy.. I hope they work as well!
Using Instead Cups - I am having a hard time finding alot of info on these. The majority of people I have talked to like them, but they say they take some getting used to... we will see. As for using them during my period, I HATE THEM!!!!
Using a Ferning Microscope - This is alot easier (so far) then most people have mentioned. I had a negative reading the first day, and then today I have a partial - so it looks like things are on the right track.
Mike took at at home SA and all came back PERFECT!!! - We took the second test in the SA pack we bought, and it was even darker then the first one... so as far as I am concerned all is well with him!
I hope you a both doing well, and cannot wait until all of our schedules are back to normal so we can talk more!

Good morning all! Happy New Year! Well I have been very busy with trying to clean up all the Christmas decorations (and truthfully there weren't that many since I didn't put them all out this year) and trying to incorporate all the new toys into an already stuffed little girl's room and playroom. The thing that is sad is that I haven't unloaded my trunk of all the Christmas presents Abbie received at my folk's house. So there are even MORE toys!!! I think I like the toys right where they are-in a place that they can't get spread all over the house! LOL And I also haven't let Abbie open the packages of some of the toys that are in the house already. I figure we can save them for a rainy day-although if you've watched the news you know that we've had plenty of those in California lately. People always are surprised when it floods here-hello, the Sacramento valley is a flood plain! Our house is pretty safe-our backyard has some drainage problems so the water came up to the edge of our patio-but nowhere near the house, plus we don't live super close to any creeks. My folk's house backs up to a levee though-the price you pay to live right on the river. But they've been fine too. So I've got a Dr's appt today so we'll get to hear the HB again and I'll have to get some labs drawn for my AFP screen. I guess I'll also find out if they're going to change my due date. I have such an urge to shop and spend money!!! I am trying to stay away from the stores because generally I have a lot of self restraint but I can tell that I am in a mood to spend! Just keep busy, just keep busy, just keep busy...........
Jacque-to answer your question, no I never really thought about going the fertility specialist route. I knew I could get pg-I proved that twice. I guess I just had faith that it would happen again. Truthfully, even though it felt like FOREVER to get pg, it only took 4 cycles once we started trying again (since my cycles are on the longer end that was about 6 months). But I also took a few months after my m/c to heal before trying again. So it was 10 months after my m/c that I got pg again. I know that you can have another baby-I highly doubt that anything catastrophic has happened since last spring and now to your fertility that would cause you to be unable to get pg again. If you are considering going to an RE (which it sounds like you're not), I know that you need to have a few months of charting done before you go, so it sounds as if you've started that again. I would wait a year of no BFP before going in to see someone. I know Clomid sounds like a great thing but if you don't really need it I wouldn't take it. It not only has horrible side effects for you while you're taking it, but it has been known to increase some birth defects (specifically tetrology of fallot which is a VERY serious heart defect requiring open heart surgery in the first year of life in a good case). I know that there are girls on this board who do use Clomid and I don't know their stories but I wouldn't use it unless there was some documented reason for my infertility. So I think that if you don't really need it I wouldn't want the risk-and I don't think you need it. I'll get off my soapbox now. But I think you and Mike are doing all that you can and I know that your BFP is coming soon. I'm telling you though that if you are FAITHFUL to the SMEP plan for 3 months I believe that you will get pg. The first month we tried it is when I got my BFP. I heard so many success stories from it when I was on FF. And you sound like the perfect candidate-regular cycles, have gotten pg in the past. So follow it FAITHFULLY to the letter. No screwing around on days off!!! That's my 2 cents.
I haven't started on the baby's room yet because I need to know if I can get rid of all those girl clothes I have stored in there (literally there are five 45 gallon plastic containers of clothes!) I am sooooo excited to decorate it but I'll have to wait until we know the sex. I'll have to take before and after pictures because that room is a disaster!
Talk to you soon! Love and sticky babydust! Amanda

Happy New Year's Girls!!!!!!
Jacque: Well you all know I would love to have a son first but if I get a daughter first that's great too. Everybody keeps saying a girl but my face hasn't changed at all except my ass got bigger and of course my boobs too. One of our friends says a girl because the baby is moving around like crazy already and she said boy's are very lazy. What do you think??
Did you ever try the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Machine because I loved using the machine and I got pregnant twice using it so I would HIGHLY recommend it to you?? It's a pretty pricey little machine but it defiantly works!
Amanda: Hopefully in a couple of weeks both of us will know the sexes of our babies how cool is that!!! I can't wait to find out I'm so anxious to know. How are you feeling lately? Kristina Kaplan
