Hi ladies! All is well, just letting the morning sickness run it's coarse. I am feeling a bit better with each passing day, and I know that soon I will start to fell less sick and more pregnant! The best part is that now I am feeling nauseous for about half the day, and only actually getting sick once or twice a day!!!!
Linda: The rooms looks great, absolutely perfect... and it looks girly so you do not have to worry about that. Your baby girl is just going to love it!
Diane: WooHoo for getting ready for baby. I am glad that you are getting everything cleaned and set up now, because if you feel that she is going to make an appearance early, and you are already having braxton hicks then maybe you will only have about 37 days left as opposed to 7 weeks! Two weeks early would be good, right? That way baby has had more then enough time to develop, and you can be holding her just a bit sooner then planned!

Adventures in potty training
So, my kiddo is doing pretty well with it this time! I think this may be it! Yesterday was the first day and he had a couple peeing accidents, but it was only like the before stuff, like he had to go so a little trickled out and then we would get him to the potty and he'd pee the rest. So that was okay. We also left him naked most of the day which helps. Today he did really well and was even telling us when he had to go, he had more accidents today, but not too many, one was a poo in his underwear though. After he did it he looked up at us and said "uh oh". So, at least he knew it wasn't good. Also we had his underwear on for most of the day and did really well! Oh and he stayed dry for both his naps yesterday and today! He also hasn't asked for pull up as much today as he did yesterday. It was so funny, he would just sit there and whine and say "I wanna pull up on". I kept saying nope, we don't use those anymore, lol.
We are not letting him go all night though, I don't think he's ready for that. I may try a trip to the store with him tomorrow and see how he does.
We've been using m&m's to motivate him and it seems to work really well!
Keep your fingers crossed that I can have him trained by Thursday when he goes to MIL's house for 2 days.

Linda - PT sounds like it is going well. hopefully each day he will get better and better. how I did our 1st trip to the store was waited until he want potty at home then went, then when he did good, I just stayed out longer and longer.
Jacque - yep, getting ready for baby, still not quite ready but getting closer. Jacob says she will arrive in 20 more days, that is a little soon for me. but with this heat might be true.
Holy moly it is so hot I don't want to open any door to the outside.
I hope you start feeling better soon, I know my m/s this time went to about 15 weeks, so a few more weeks

Well, Now I am usually only throwing up first think in the morning, the rest of the day I feel a bit queasy, but not near as bad as before... so I think I am in the home stretch. I have learned that it is best to puke right away and just get it over with because if I don't then I am just miserable for the rest of the day.
Linda: I am glad the M&M's are working, I will keep my fingers crossed that he is completely potty trained by the time leaves for Grandma's house. What an accomplishment, won't it be nice only having one kid in diapers!!!!
Diane: HAPPY 7 weeks! 20 days, that is too soon. I would say at least 30. Your right, the heat has been awful. I do not even like to leave the house.
We are teaching VBS at Mike's church all this week..... thank GOD it is air conditioned. I hope it goes well.... and that I have plenty of energy, I am usually asleep by 8 and this does not even get over until 8, which will put us home around 9. WISH ME LUCK!

Jacque - I did that this time around also, if I felt like throwing up I want ahead and tried instead of feeling miserable for hours and then throwing up. Just get lots of water, so you don't get dehydrated or you will end up at the hospital. I lost about 10 pounds at first and doc was getting to the point where I had to write down what I ate and when, and then when I got sick.
It got better for me around 15 weeks and then I was feeling random movements then so it was nice.
30 days sounds much better, but if I follow my sis she was 5 weeks early with #2. Yikes, that is in 14 days!!!!!!!!
but if Jacob is right at 20 days it is 1 day after Day out with Thomas, maybe that just tells me I need to be very cautious that day up in Chicago

Well, yesterday Luke had NO accidents! He stayed dry all day! I'm so proud of my boy! He was even telling me when he had to go and once in awhile would go there by himself!
Today he woke up on his own (mommy was still sleeping) and took off his nighttime diaper and put on his undewear all by himself, by the time I woke up he was still dry!!! My big boy!
Today we are going to try to go to a store!
Jacque - glad you are feeling better! Good luck at your appt today!
Diane - what is the day with Thomas? That sounds like something Luke would like, when is it?

Linda - can't believe you have a Tom lover and live in Chicago and never heard about it. It is called a Day out with Tom, we went last year and was great. You take a train ride on Thomas, and then they have all Tom related activites, book reading, tattoos, color pages, train tables, movie time, etc. It is like $16 a person here is the link: www.thomasandfriends.com/usa/parents/tours_and_events_with_thomas_the_tank_engine_and_friends.htmlit comes to IL in mid August the 18th -20th adn the next weekend, we hope to go on the 18th! If you do go, I would try to get a 11AM or 11:30 time for the ride, then show up when it is open, that way you get thru the activities quicker and should be cooler then after the train ride can do whatever. we had a 10:30 time lsat year and when we got there, no one was there, and then when we got off the place was packed Congrats to dry all day!!! Maybe you could decide if you want to go, and then tell him if he keeps up with potty training and does well this is his reward for being a big boy!

This is the newest entry to my journal, thought it would be easier to post this then to retype it all over again!
Drum roll please.... and the award for the most neurotic pregnant woman in the entire world goes to.... JACQUE KOMNICK!!!
Well, our 11 week appointment was yesterday and more then anything I wanted to hear the baby’s heartbeat. There was one major problem though. I do not know my exact due date. Based on past charts I could have ovulated any where between CD 10 and CD 17 which actually means that I could be anywhere between 10 weeks and 11 weeks pregnant right now. So... if I was closer to ten weeks then eleven weeks then there would have been a very very good chance that it would have been to soon to hear our baby’s heartbeat on the doppler. So, after some debate with Dr Leno we decided that I should wait to try until our next appointment which is on August 29th. At that time I will be 15 weeks and we will definitely be able to be able to hear the heartbeat.
Well... for those of you who REALLY know me know that I more then a bit worried about losing another baby, and that hearing the heartbeat was something that would have really eased my mind. So, I did the only thing I could think of that would show me that yes I really am pregnant and yes baby is indeed doing well. Yep, you guessed it the crazy lady to another pregnancy test.
Keep in mind I am showing, I have morning sickness, I am starting to feel the "butterfly" type baby movement.... but I still needed that extra reassurance. So, last night after Vacation Bible School I went to Wal-Mart... and bought ANOTHER pregnancy test. This puts me at 7 tests so far this pregnancy. Needless to say it was the most positive pregnancy test I have ever seen. The pink line was so dark that it was almost black. So, once again the magic little pee stick made the crazy pregnant lady feel much better.
I am excited about hearing the heartbeat, but even more excited about everyone else hearing it. After our next appointment Mike and I will be getting a home doppler from Wal-Mart. We will not only use it for our own use, but also so the day care kids, our friends and family can hear the baby's heartbeat. I can even download a recording of the baby’s heartbeat to the computer and email it to everyone... so needless to say, in a little less then a month EVERYONE will be listening to our baby’s heartbeat.
Now, for Meghan and baby Alex..... HE IS ALREADY HOME! Baby Alex has been home for about a week and he is doing great. He is falling into a schedule, eating well, and keeping mom and dad very busy. He went home weighing in a little over 3 pounds. He has a Dr's appointment in a few days; I will be sure to also keep you updated on their progress as well.
Until next time,
Jacque
Oh.... before I forget, I lost 6 pounds total. It looks like my scale was off at home. SO THERE IS NO NEED TO WORRY! I am so glad I am losing weight, but it is awesome to know that it is little by little and not 10 pounds in 3 weeks!!!

I am surprised your doc didnt' try at least? I am glad I don't have your doc, I would be panicking! If you can feel movements already I would guess it is closer to the 11 week mark.
Glad you are OK with it though. cool on the doppler, but if you can feel movements now just wait another few weeks and you won't need the doppler you can feel the movements.
Linda - the day out with Tom is awesome!

Jacque - great appt but dissapointed you didn't hear the hb! I would never have walked away without bugging my doc to try, lol! You are funny about buying a pg test though! LOL! So, my boy is potty trained! He even went poop on the potty last night and peed in a restaurant toilet today! It took some doing on the restaurant potty since he is deathly afraid of them. I don't know if I ever told you the story when we got trapped in a McDonalds stall and the toilet kept flushing and scarred him for life. Yep. So, this is a huge step! I had to force him on it crying but he peed, lol! Also, here is another belly shot, still waiting for yours Diane! 32 weeksand my belly progression so far:

I like your belly pic Diane! Lookin good! Not too much longer! I can't wait to meet our girls! Look what I made! Okay, so I decided it's time to share some pics of Luke, he is getting so big! Playing in a box, guess boxes just entertain from baby to preschooler, lol! Asleep on the lazy boy, I just think he looks so cute in his big boy undies. And Luke in the hat I made him from my Knifty Knitter ( I need to make it longer with a brim, but pretty good for my first try! )

Linda - the letters are cute!
It has been slow on this board lately.
Well, I had my 34 week checkup, one more 2 week appt then I start to go weekly. yesterday's appt I got some news I wasn't really expecting. Natalie is measuring big, so next appt I will get an u/s to see how big and if too big, I won't get a chance for a VBAC and will have to be scheduled for a repeat c-sec. with JAcob I was pushing when his heartrate dropped so had to have a c-sec, it is disappointing that I might not get to try. because if we were to go for #3, and if you had 2 c-sec's that is your only option doc said we could get lucky and that she is laying funny and that is what is causing me to measure big, but I guess we just have to wait and see.
