Jacque - where are you? Happy 9 weeks!
Diane - thanks for the PT tips!
So, just got back from my growth scan and babe is measuring 2 weeks ahead. She measured 31 weeks 4 days and she weighs 3 lbs 14 oz! I guess I have another big baby on the way! If you'll all remember, Luke was born weighing 10 lbs 3 oz and one week early!

Ladies: Aalissa is no longer a member of the Chatter box. She has just posted a nasty post in regards to several of the members (including the ladies on the board) and how she feels about them. This post along with her account has been deleted and she has been notified about how I feel. If you would like to see the original post I will send you a PM. Thanks for your understanding. Jacque PS: I am here, just very sick. Thanks for keeping dibs on me. I hope to be able to check in more this weekend... when I have only one child here.

Linda: Happy 30 weeks! I am so excited that we are going to have a major baby boom soon!!! Between you, Diane, Melissa, and Chrissy we will have four babies with in the next 10 weeks! -- I LOVE your sonogram photos, your daughter is beautiful! Isn't that nice to hear? You are going to have a little girl in about 2.5 months!!!!! --- As for potty training, I have potty trained 11 boys and have always just let them go when they are ready. All of them were trained between 2.5 and 3.5 years. Each kid is different, you have to be careful not to push to hard because it can make them shy away from it.
Diane: Thanks for the kind words, Aalissa's behavior is really not bothering me to much. I have more important things to worry about. I mean, she is under alot of stress right now and is in need of a good luck streak. I am just glad I do not have to put up with here being so mean anymore. So, you are in the home stretch!!!! How is everything going? Are you ready? Are your bags packed???
QUESTIONS:
When did you first hear the heartbeat?
Do you have a home Doppler? If so, what kind and how far along were you when it worked?
How long did it take you to accept that you were REALLY pregnant and that it was not to good to be true?
Did your son's go to any type of siblings class?
Did you go to a Lamaze type class?
Ok, the reason I ask is because I am still having a hard time believing that this is real. I am late, I am sick, I am tired, I am starting to show..... but for some reason I have a hard time believing that I am pregnant, almost like it is to good to be true. I hope that feeling goes away once I hear the heartbeat. I am not worried as much as I used to be, passing that 9 week mark really did alot for me and my nerves.
Ok, gotta clean the inlaws are coming soon!
Jacque

When did you first hear the heartbeat? at 10 1/2 weeks
Do you have a home Doppler? If so, what kind and how far along were you when it worked? yes, I got one from my friend in England, it's just a cheapo, but I heard the hb at 10 1/2 weeks at home.
How long did it take you to accept that you were REALLY pregnant and that it was not to good to be true? when I saw her swimming around with arm and leg buds at 11 weeks.
Did your son's go to any type of siblings class? we are going Sept 13! Yes, it's only 2 weeks before my due date, but that's the only class they had available! I hope we make it!
Did you go to a Lamaze type class? nope, most likely having a c-section anyway!
how come the belly pics have stopped?? doing one today!
Jacque - your feelings are totally normal! I still worry to this day! I never even had a baby with a cord accident, yet every day I worry that's going to happen! LOL! Each stage did help calm me more and more though. Like when you first hear the hb, or first see the baby on ultrasound or you feel that first kick. I must say I don't worry as much now because I can feel her kicking all the time!

QUESTIONS:
When did you first hear the heartbeat? 11 weeks at the doc's office
Do you have a home Doppler? If so, what kind and how far along were you when it worked? No I don't, didnt' think it was needed, started feeling movement around 13 weeks
How long did it take you to accept that you were REALLY pregnant and that it was not to good to be true? after the 2nd appt and we heard the h/b, just to make sure what happened last time wasn't going to happen again
Did your son's go to any type of siblings class? yes, we are going August 5th!
Did you go to a Lamaze type class? not this time, I still have notes from last time to refresh my memory

Had my 30 week OB appt yesterday. I gained 3 1/2 lbs but doc thinks it's mostly water since my feet are so swollen! That's a total of 12 1/2 so far. BP was good, baby was measuring good, good strong heartbeat, doc even gave me a note to take to work that says I cannot work over 8 hours in a day, so no more 10 hour fridays for me! Woo hoo! I start going every 2 weeks now also.

I am so excited, I have only been sick once today! I am officially in my 11th week and the end of the first trimester is right around the corner. I am still a little worried, but I am hoping that I will get to hear the heartbeat at my next visit (which is on Tuesday) but since I am overweight I might have to wait a bit longer because at that time I will only be 11 weeks. I weighed myself this morning and I am down almost 10 pounds, so that will give you an idea how bad morning sickness is... that is 10 pounds in 3 weeks..... I am keeping some things down and I am drinking loads of water so my DR is not concerned, but he is really keeping an eye on all that is going on. Linda: Thanks for the words of comfort, somedays I feel like WOW I am going to be a mommy of two, and others I feel that I am just kidding myself. I pray that I can hear the baby's heartbeat on Tuesday, I know it will really help me relax. --- I am so glad you are down to 8 hours days, that will make Fridays go by so much faster for you. --- Your belly pics are awesome, I cannot believe how great you look, and the best part is that you are almost done. I love your progression, I think i will have to talk you into making one for me too. I wanted to take my first belly pic last night, but fell asleep after Kailey's tumbling practice... so I will have to do it tonight. I already have my outfit picked out. lol Diane: LESS THEN 2 MONTHS!!!!! How awesome is that, I cannot believe that you are so close to the big day.... so, when do you think baby will arrive, early or late? Are you nervous about labor, or since you have been though it once are you more at ease then you were last time? -- Is your son getting super excited, or is it wearing off the further along you get? Jacque

Jacque - I am overweight also and I heard it at 11 weeks, so I hope you do also. I couldn't imagine leaving hte doc office and not hearing it, I would go nuts until the next appt. so I hope you can hear it Tuesday! That is cool that the 1st trimester is almost over. time is flying by for you it seems like, and mine is dragging by. Started washing the baby stuff, like car seat cover, diaper bags, bouncey seat coever etc. If I had to take a guess I woudl say Natalie will arrive a little early, but guess we will wait and see. Every night I got some strong contraxs that wake you up and sit you straight up, but go away quickly. wonder if she is trying to dilate me, with JAcob at 37 weeks I was already 2CM dilated? ?
