To keep Buddy Groups from getting to long, we lock the old thread and start a new one. You can still go back and read from the old thread (they are located in the Buddy Group Achieves), but will need to post on this one from here on out. Happy Posting Thanks Diane

some reason I can't get to any other reply method other than the quick reply??
Jacque - that stinks. maybe if you talk with the doc and tell him/her that an u/s would really ease your mind, maybe he would do it. I know my doc always does an early u/s!

Well, it is official...... Linda is in her last Trimester and Diane is almost to the single digits when it comes to what week she is in! It is almost time for our next baby boom! WooHoo!!!! How are you both feeling? Linda: It feels like you have been gone for forever, I cannot wait to hear all about your trip! Diane: Nope, no sonogram.... but I am ok with it. Dr Leno told me that there was nothing wrong, no signs of any issues and that I just need to relax. So, I am going to just chill and pray for the perfect pregnancy to continue. I cannot remember which one of you had the fetal doppler for the baby's heartbeat...... my question is, when did you start hearing the heartbeat at home? And how did that compare to when you heard it at the Dr's office??? The following was posted in my online journal.... to tired to retype it again, so I am just going to copy and paste.
Thursday was my Dr's appointment and my Pap test, Kailey and Mike both came with. We explained to Kailey that if she wants to be in the delivery room then she is going to need to go with to each Dr.'s visit, including the ones with vaginal exams, because hey... she has to get used to what the Dr's and nurses have to do "down there". Well, needless to say.... we prepped Kailey for what was to come. We explained exactly what the Pap test is and how they do it. We also explained that there was going to be a breast exam. Once the Dr went over our blood results (more about that later) he left the room and explained to Kailey that is was time for the pap test. Well, she was weirded out when I first started changing. But she was fine once I got the "robe" on. Soon after Dr. Leno and Nurse Tina came in. They started the exam and Kailey looked like she was paying attention. Well... at least that is what Mike said, I was to busy staring at the ceiling. Well, just about the time they insert the speculum Kailey says "wow" REALLY loud. Everyone turns to her, and then she says..... THEY HAVE REALLY BIG Q-TIPS HERE! It was beyond funny, EVERYONE thought she was going to say something about what the DR was doing, but no - Kailey thought the really big q-tips were cool because she had never seen one that was that big....... We all laughed though the rest of the procedure. Needless to say, Kailey proved to the DR that she was not at all weirded out with a strange man looking at her mom when she was practically naked. Which means.... she is one step closer to getting the ok to watch her baby brother or sister be born. So the appointment went well, we had no issues what-so-ever. My blood test all came back and they all were prefect. Dr Leno said that I had the highest antibodies for German measles that he has ever seen, which means only one thing.... I have had them at one time in my life, when I do not remember though. My RH antibodies are also where they should be, which is great because that means that my pregnancy will be a tad bit easier. I know I have been praying for an ultrasound, and I know that several of you wanted me to have one done more then ANYTHING.... but no such luck. Why? The Dr. said that everything looks perfect, and there is no reason to worry. Well, I will be (almost) worry free in about 10 more days! The best part is that our next appointment is when I am about 11 weeks, and then at 15 weeks... by my 15 week appointment we will hear the heartbeat!!! And soon after we will have our "big" ultrasound.... where we most definitely (well, probably) will not find out the gender of the baby.

Linda: I feel like crap, but it is all well worth it. I am almost to that 9 week mark, and I know once I am there I will be able to relax a bit more. I am already showing a bit and having trouble sleeping. This pregnancy is totally different from my last, but alot like when I was pregnant with Kailey.... I think I might be having a little girl too. YOU LOOK GREAT! I love the photos, and noticed that your belly button has not popped out yet! Did that happen when you were pregnant with Luke? Did your hubby take those photos at home? He did a great job, what a wonderful keepsake!!!!! Jacque

I'm glad you're feeling like crap, lol! It's a great thing! I was so horribly sick with this girl the first few months I thought I would die, but it sure made it feel like this baby was a keeper! I'm so excited you are almost 9 weeks! When do you get an u/s? I'm starting to think you're having another girl too.
No, belly button hasn't popped out yet, but it's getting flatter, I have a very deep inny to begin with, and it has a mole inside that gets hidden when I'm not pg, now you can see it. It popped out with Luke when I was 9 months, so I'm sure it will pretty soon!
Yeah, Dh took them at home, I set up the background and my clothes and looked online for inspiration, all he had to do was click the camera, lol! I also played with them on paint shop to get them to look more professional. AND I brushed out my stretch marks, lol! I'm going to do more in a month or so when I get a little bigger. I always wanted to get them done with Luke, but I never did, I figure he wouldn't care when he was older anyway, since he's a boy, lol! Plus I didn't want to go to a studio. I did get some done at a local waterfall, with my clothes all on, they were pretty nice. I just love the pg body and think you should capture the moment, there's not many times in your life you get to be pg, well, at least not me! This will most likely be my last so I'm doing everything I can, 3D ultrasounds, pg photos, etc. I'm loving it!

Okay, this little 3 year old of mine is going to say goodbye to diapers by September one way or another. Please give me all of your advice for those who have had success!
So far we have tried rewards & going naked or in big boy underwear, neither is working.
Tonight I'm going out to buy training pants, the cloth ones with plastic pants to go over. This was an idea from one of my online friends. My mom is also going to take away toys each time he poos in his diaper, hopefully that will help too.
Anyone have any advice? I'm desperate! I need a game plan!
Just so you know what kind of child you are dealing with here, he knows how to go on the potty, he has done it before (just pee), he's not scared of it (well at home that is, he's deathly afraid of public restrooms ever since we got locked in the one at McDonalds and the toilet kept flushing by itself, scared the crap outta him) anyway, he knows how, just refuses to do it. He'll go once and then the rest of the day he'll go hide or go in another room and pee or poop on the floor and then come tell me he did it, even if I just asked him a minute ago if he had to go and say "let's go sit on the potty".
So, what do you think?

Stevie was the same way linda... I STOPPED PLAYING THE GAME WITH HIM!!!! I took the one thing he love the most.. cars and put them next to HIS POTTY and said you can only play with them when you are on the potty. and we had a bag full of new Hot Wheels everytime he went pee he got a new one everytime he went poop he got 2 new ones. I also set the Timer on the stove for every 30 mins and when that beep went off stevie began to know what it meant POTTY TIME ALso I got the gerber training pants they are cloth, but no plastic to go over them. They are thick in the middle like real undies. THOSE ARE WHAT helped stevie. But I WAS SOOOOO READY TO STOP BUYING diapers he was potty trained at 24 mos! GOOD LUCK and don't baby him with the potty!! Its time HE KNOWS HE IS A BIG BOY now!!! and don't forget the "pee pee dance O "p.s stevie still tells me he don't have to go when I ask him... THEY ARE KIDS Girl!! you have to still tell him to go every once in a while! stevie gets up in the am and go's on the tiolet all by himself, has for months now!! he even stands up and pee's now, thats his big thing at the moment! Steve also has helped with teh potty thing... he see's daddy peeing HE WANTS TO... get the drift***

sorry been MIA. last week went quick with babysitting, and then getting ready for our camping trip, but now we are back.
Linda - cute pics!
Potty training, Jacob was easy. he loved sticker rewards, so we got him some Thomas stickersa nd every time he told me and went potty he got a sticker and we stuck it on his shirt, first day had accidents, but made a big deal of it when daddy came home that JAcob pottied 2 times and look at his neat stickers. also had a potty toy, when he stopped wearing diapers he could play with this new toy - it was a Thomas addition to his collection. he wanted that so bad that he asked to wear undies the next day. so that is what we did, one time he asked to wear diapers so I did, but then I boxed his potty toy back up and put it on the potty - got mad but I said when you wear undies you get the toy. he put his undies right back on he was trained with no accidents in a week - night time training also.
And with accidents if he tried no big deal, but if he ran and hid I cleaned him up slowly and kept saying, boy if you went in the potty you would be back to playing by now, but you didn't so maybe next time.
Jacque -sorry you feel bad but glad you do then you know all is OK! This pg I was very sick from 8 weeks to about 15 weeks!
