About the Catholic thing.... I think it varies from Church to church, up until recently I was a practicing Catholic ( I now am Lutheran) and I was a God Parent at two baptisms, one would not let Mike and I do it because we were not BOTH Catholic (we had to have another person stand in for Mike), the other we could because I was Catholic it did not matter at all at the second church that we were not both Catholic.
Diane: I love the new photos! Your kids are so precious.
Linda: Holy cow your kids look ALOT alike. They could pass for twins - if they were both the same age. lol Anyway, does your princess like your swaddle wrap/ carrier type thing?
Jennifer: We will not be having anyone here for Thanksgiving either. the first year in a long time. I think putting up the tree will be a good idea. Will you still be making a big meal even though it will just be you two?
Nothing new here.... baby is moving alot today, I love watching my tummy move!

Jacque - I am still going to be cooking Thanksgiving dinner even though it is just the 2 of us. I am not sure what all I am making though. I am thinking of: Turkey Mashed Potatoes Noodles Baked Macaroni & Cheese (Quentin's request) Corn Pumpkin Pie
It's not much, but we will be eating leftovers for a week anyways (longer if I make more). I usually also make sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, Apple pie, and pasta salad. At least that is what I have made the last 3 years when I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for the guys that Quentin worked with. This year I am just not up for that.
Our plans for this year are just to sleep in, get up and get the Turkey in the oven and the rest of the food started, put up the Christmas decorations, watch football, eat dinner, get my shopping list ready for Friday, and maybe watch a Christmas movie!

Jennifer: You should still make everything that you would if it were your entire family coming over..... We are having all of the same things even though there were only three of us.
We will be having....
Turkey Dressing Mashed potatoes Gravy Scalloped Corn Green Bean Casserole Rolls Pumpkin Pie Apple Pie A veggie Tray A meat and cheese tray Beanie Wennies & bacon in BBQ sauce
We will have leftovers for a week.... but it is all good because I LOVE Thanksgiving leftovers!

Jacque - Maybe Quentin and I should just come to your hosue for Thanksgiving! I seriously wouldnt be making Thanksgiving dinner (at least not the traditional one) if it didn't have such a special meaning to me. I really don't feel like doing all that work to get all the food ready, I just don't have the energy. But I will do it because there has never been 1 Thanksgiving that I didn't have the traditional dinner and I dont want that to stop this year. That is why I am just cutting down on what we are going to be having. Our family Thankgsiving dinner is a lot different then what I would normally cook for the friends we have had over the last few years. We usually have them over the weekend before Thanksgiving since we usually go to Ohio. But for my family Thanksgiving dinner, it is more of a covered dish. My aunt and Grandma always both do turkeys, then everyone else brings whatever dish they feel like. We always have a huge variety of foods to go with the turkey, as well as Grandma's homemade pies and rolls! That will be the most missed part for me! We will also be doing a smaller Christmas dinner than what we usually have with my family. I am sure by that point (rather Aryanna is here or not) I will not feel like cooking a big dinner!

Jennifer and Jacque - I think we need some new belly pics girls! I'm dying over here! I miss being pg! Jacque - yes, she likes my wrap, I like it too, it hardly feels like any weight at all! I want to go to bed right now but little miss wants to stay up all night is not going to sleep. Oh, and my work won't let me off on the sat before New Years Eve, so now we can't go to Tennessee, I'm so mad at them. It's so unfair. I cancelled everything today, lost 50 bucks.

I need a new belly pic also, I have not posted one since I was 17 weeks, and I will be 27 weeks on Monday. I will take one this weekend (or Monday morning) and post it then. I will even write myself a note so I will not forget.
Linda: I know you are disappointed because you will not be able to go on your trip, but you know.... everything happens for a reason. You are just not meant to be there at that time. This way you can ring in the new year at home... not near as exciting, but you will still have a good time.
Diane: Whats new and exciting?
Jennifer: You and I should try to make a new dessert for this Thanksgiving. It would be the perfect time because neither of us have guest... so if it sucks then it does not matter! What should we make?

Wow Jacque, your pregnancy is just flying along! Can't believe your 27 weeks tomorrow. Belly picture please! Pretty soon I won't be asking nicely. Check out my siggy pics, Izzy is smiling a lot now! I even got some on video! I will have to post it online sometime! It's so fun to get her to smile and coo! She loves to coo! One more week until I go back to work, I really don't wanna! I'm already missing my kids and I didn't even go back yet! I just know it's gonna kill me to leave Izzy. She's such a momma's girl it's not even funny! She's always watching me and cooing at me and wants to be by me. I'm gonna miss her! I'm used to it with Luke, so he's no big deal, although it's been fun to stay home with him for 2 months. I'm so sad.

Linda - sorry you have to go back to work next week. but just think soon you will be part-time
JAcque - wow only 13 weeks left, time will fly by around the holidays then in no time you will have your little one.
Jennifer - we are going to DH's grandma's for Thanksgiving, but he has such a small family that it is a quick meal and everyone leaves. and the only kids are ours, so Jacob gets bored quickly
Had a busy weekend, Natalie was baptized yesterday

Jennifer: You have a new ticker! I love watching the baby in the box move.... hee hee you only have one more box! --- Will you make me a new belly photo box after I post my new belly pic? Linda: Your new siggy pics are great, so is the one in your "avatar" position. How are the cloth diapers going??? Diane: How did the baptism go? Questions......
What did/will your baby wear for their baptism? What did your first born wear??? How is breastfeeding going??? What will Santa be putting under the tree for your kid(s) Did your DR give you an ultrasound close to delivery to check the baby's position and size? I AM IN MY THIRD TRIMESTER!!! Today is belly pic day. I have the camera batteries charged... I am just waiting for Kailey to get home from school so she could take it. I fear there is not much change when it comes to my belly "sticking out" It just keeps getting more round and full.... I will not know how BIG it is until I compare it to the other pics in my siggy. --- I think my last monthly appointment is this Tuesday... then I will go in three weeks, then two weeks for a few appointments, then weekly. I am in the home stretch!

Linda: What kind of Formula are you using? Did you try to breastfeed? If so, how long did you do it? The reason I ask.... I breastfed Kailey for a year, but I know that each kid is different and Garrett might have trouble breastfeeding..... I just want to be prepared either way. Also, what bottles do you use. I recommend Playtex for the day care kids, and that is what I used for Kailey (when I pumped or had to supplement)... but is there something better out there?
