I'm dying to know what Alisha had!! I hope her mom emails today.
We worked on the nursery this weekend. I don't think I like the yellow I picked so I may end up repainting (not too big of a deal since I need to do a second coat of paint anyway since the first coat came out blotchy-cheap paint). But Alex hung the wainscoting and it looks so cute-I have to finish caulking that and then paint it too. We are a long way from being done. My best friend is painting some pictures for the walls so I am really excited to see those. I have a doc's appt tomorrow-cross your fingers that there is no more protein in my urine. AAAAAHHHHHH! Alex just called me to say that he invited his friend and his friend's wife and baby for dinner TONIGHT! I have no idea what to cook or how I am going to get the house cleaned before they get here-I have got to run. I hope everyone is having a great day!

I NEED CHART STALKERS!!!!
My temp did go up today... and I am forcing myself not to get excited because there are several of my charts that my temps go up a tad bit the day before AF and then have a huge drop the day she comes. Part of me wants to test though. If I take my chart off of the research method and but it on the advanced method I get two different O days.... the one I am using now says I O'd on CD 15... the other method says I O'd on CD 17.
Disclaimer: Let it be said that I am a crazy lady and that I am taking obsessing over my chart to a whole new level!
Research Charting method: The Research Detector is our cutting edge research detector. This detector includes all new patterns and improvements as we find them. With time and testing, we roll new findings into the advanced detector when appropriate. Since this detector is continuously under construction, it can be unstable. You should use it only if you wish to check for enhancements that are not yet rolled into the advanced detector.
Advanced Charting Method: The Advanced Detector is our recommended detector and the default for all charts. We recommend that you keep your chart on this setting. This detector takes all your fertility signs into account. It uses the computing power of our servers to actually scan for patterns of ovulation on your charts based on the many patterns that we have encountered through our years of experience. Once it has determined your most likely ovulation day based on all your fertility signs, it then determines a coverline (the horizontal line across your chart) with a reasonable value to show you your biphasic (ovulation) pattern. Our advanced detector simultaneously takes into account all signs and data you enter to determine the best interpretation.
That being said... which chart do I use? If I use the second one I tested way to early! Also either way, Baby dancing was timed pretty well, granted the first chart it is timed better in, but the second one is not that far off..........

I heard from Alisha!!!
Here is a copy of the email she sent me. I will have more info for you as the day goes on...... Woohoo!!!
I am so sorry about the slow response. We just got home about an hour ago, (it's 7:30 pm on Tuesday.) I had some complications and couldn't get an email out to you. I'll explain later...I'm typing this and am in pain. We had a BEAUTIFUL baby girl!!!!! Can you believe it? We named her Abriyel Deanne-Margaritte. She was born at 10:42 am on Friday, 3/17/06. She weighed 7lbs, 14 oz and was 18.5 inches long. She seems tiny to me b/c Yesi was 8lbs. 6 oz and 20.5 inches long. BIG difference when it comes to babies. I have to go b/c Abri is crying. I will email you some more when my pain killers kick in. I will send you the email address of her web nursery. She's a real cutie! Tons of black, curly hair and bluish brown eyes, (for now.) The anesthesiologist said that in her entire career, she's never seen a baby girl born with this much hair! Take care, Alisha P.S. Tell everyone I'm sorry about the delay and will explain later.

YAY!! Congratulations Alisha! I am so excited that you had a girl, now you can tell me what it's like to have 2 girls! I'm sorry you had some complications, but at least you are home now.
Not much going on here-I am on call today for the hospital. It kind of sucks b/c I only get paid $8 an hour to sit here, but I still have to have the nanny here for Abbie in case I get called in. If I do get called in though they have to pay me time and a half-so I'd like to get called in-might as well since I was already planning on working today. I'm going to work on the nursery since I have an extra pair of hands to watch Abbie. I had a doc appt yesterday, still protein in my urine and now glucose, not enough to cause great alarm, but they are sending it in for more tests (again). My blood pressure was good though, so no real worries. My glucose tolerance test was fine too. Dinner with hubbie's friends went fine also, Alex pulled out every item of baby equipment we have for their baby. They were only here for 3 hours, so I don't think he needed to get the swing, bouncy seat, highchair, baby gym etc etc out. Probably she would have survived just fine without them. Besides her mom held her almost the entire time anyway. I'm just going to leave all that stuff out though-might as well even though we won't need it for a few months, plus there's no way I'll be able to lug it back upstairs by myself anyway.
Jacque-Did AF show? I hope not. It sucks to be in limbo land.

Amanda: I am glad you posted! I love hearing from you. --- I hope your dinner went well and that you had a good time with your friends! --- How was your Dr appointment? --- The baby's room is going to look perfect, I cannot wait to see photos! What kind of pictures is your friend painting for the walls?
Diane: I want to test I want to test I want to test.
Alisha: Congrats again!!! I feel so bad I did not ask you how you were doing in the email that I sent. I just asked about the baby. Know that I love you and the reason I did not ask is that I assumed that all was fine. I cannot wait to hear what happened and hope and pray that you are not in as much pain as you were in with Yesi.
Kris: Where are you!!!! I cannot remember if I told you or not but I almost bought you a little baby's first Hanukkah shirt! They had them at Old Navy, and they were on clearance for only $1.00... but the only size they had was 3 months, and my Hanukkah your baby would not fit into it.... Oh well, I will just have to find something else!!!
Linda: You need to post here more often. That way you can bond with the other preggo's. See, I have the please of talking with you all of the time. But these other wonderful ladies are just missing out... lol
Oh, I lost my stupid fricken thermometer. That is what I get for obsessing over my charts so much... so I have no clue what my temp is, I have no pregnancy test, and I am about 14DPO!!!!

Amanda: You and I just posted at about the same time. I am glad your appointment went well, and that the blood pressure is good. As for everything else, at least it is in small amounts and no one is overly concerned!!!! --- I would leave the baby stuff out also, that way Abbie can get used to it being out and it will help her get used to things. --- So, what are you doing in the nursery today??? I think it is so awesome that you are in the home stretch!!! Just think, within a few months you are going to have a baby!!!!!
No sign of AF yet!! Keep me in your prayers! I hope I do not see her for a long time, like about 9 months!!!!

Good Afternoon Ladies!!!!! Jacque: I can't believe Alisha had a baby Girl it looks like we're all having baby girls on this board. Also my cousin just had a baby girl last Sunday and the baby weighted 8.8 pds and 21 in. Our babies will be 3 months apart. My husband would of loved you if you got the baby a Hanukkah shirt . I will be going to Babies r us again with my Uncle tomorrow to put more stuff on my registry. He wants to buy me a carriage so I'm going to show him what I want. My mom took a picture of me yesterday so I will post it on the belly board. I'm feeling pretty good but I keep getting back pain and stretching especially when I'm on my feet to long. I'm still praying for you and lots and lots of . Kristina K

Kristina: You look awesome! Have you gained any weight? It looks like you will definitely stay withing that "recommended" 35 pound weight limit!!! --- So, who is in your new photo with you? --- I will check out your registry on Friday, that way I can see all of the new things that you added. It is so cool that you and your Uncle are going shopping! It is very kind of him to get you the carriage! --- I am glad things are going well, try to check in more often... I love hearing from you!

Thanks Diane! You always make me feel good. Every time I think I have been TTC FOREVER I think of you, and Linda, and everyone else who had to go through months of TTC and a m/c and everything else that seems to happen to good people... and then I smile, because you are all pregnant now, and I know that someday I will be too! The thing is that I am not really that upset this time. I had a feeling that she was going to show when my temps started to drop! Oh well, on to the next cycle. Whenever AF shows I treat myself to a Cherry Coke (or a DR Pepper) and a bag of combos... it is the only time I drink caffeine or eat that much saturated fat... but hey, once a month is not that bad, is it? LOL The kicker is that I could not even get a new Thermometer last night. The TOTAL IDIOTS at WalMart decided to move EVERYTHING in the store around.... the sad thing is that the isle signs that tell you where everything is had not been changed yet. So NONE of the shopper knew where anything was. So.... I found what I had to get and then left. I will get a BBT from Walgreen's before AF is gone.... Well... on to TTC a December Baby!!!!! Jacque
