ALISHA'S LAST POST FROM OUR OLD 2006 MOMMAS THREAD:
Hey girls, Jacque-I'm so excited that you are going to wait to find out the sex. It's a lot harder than you would think, so if you can stand it, good for you! I'm not at the every other week point yet. I have my next appointment next Monday the 16th at 12:00. I will almost be 31 weeks at that point. Yeah! I hope that the next 9 weeks fly by. I'm sorry to hear about your dad. What a major bummer. I hope that you get good news. Emily-I'm sorry that it has been such a struggle for you ttc.. That sucks. I hope that things get easier for you since you decided to stop the Clomid. I can't imagine how bad cysts must hurt, and hope I never have to. Poor thing. Well, I have to go to work in the morning. So I'm going to keep this short. Take care girls, Alisha

JACQUE'S LAST POST FROM OUR OLD 2006 MOMMAS THREAD:Ladies... this has to be short, nap time is almost over and I have a MILLION things to do! Emily: I am sorry you have so many obsicals to overcome while TTC. I wish I could snap my fingers and make it all better.... If I were you I would also stop the clomid. It is not worth the pain and the cysts. Did you call your DR yet? When you find out what is going on please let us know! Alisha: Try checking my link again, I took it off and recopied the original link, hopefully it works now! -- Your next appointment is in 6 days!!!! Today my temp went up and I got another positive OPK... so I think today is O day! We will have to wait and see, I should get my chart cross-hairs soon!

Ok ladies... I am not sure what is going on with my body right now. I took an OPK today... you know, to suffice my POAS addiction and it was the MOST positive OPK I have ever taken, EVER!!! I am not kidding, the test line was BRIGHT pink before the pee even went all the way across the test window. I also had this huge temp dip today, and I think i am having Ovulation pain while I am typing this..... so, it looks like one more night of babydancing... cause it seems like today is O day!!!! I called Mike at work, he said awesome... we get to do it again. I love my man, he is soooo mature. lol So Jennifer just looked at my chart, and asked what my CM was like today so I went and checked it again and it was STILL EGGWHITE, it had been like this for days, and it is not seamen, it is definitely CM! Just a thought... wouldn't it be my luck that all this time I would have been ovulating on CD 16 and 17 rather then 15 and 16? If that was the case I would not have timed baby dancing at the right time.... man, I really wish that in the past I would have continued to take OPK's after I got the first positive..... I am going to check the saliva scope now... I hope you are both doing well!Jacque

HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, I got ANOTHER POSITIVE OPK today!!!!! It is lighter then yesterday, but it is still positive. I was wondering... should I log it as positive or negative on my FF chart? Part of me says that I would have to be honest and put positive... but the other part says I think yesterday was O day and I do not want to put a positive OPK on my chart because I do not FF to give me a later O day then the 16th... but if I am not honest on my chart then it will not be accurate... what the hell!!! Who get 4 positive OPK's? Is there anyway I ovulated twice? ??

Hello Jacque- If you don't answer my stinkin' question about Vitamin B frickin' 6, I'm not talking to you anymore......!!!!!! ******%%%%%%&&&### Okay, now that I got that out of my system........ I personally HATE ovulation predictor kits b/c I never found them to be very reliable. However, if you are still having ew cm, then keep up that baby dancing. You know me...Mrs. baby dance even if your eye is infected, you're peeing blood, pukin' your guts up, and snot is coming out of your eyes, nose and ears...as long as you have that fertile mucus, keep up that baby dancing. That's what worked for me! NOW ANSWER MY STINKIN' QUESTION B/C I'M SICK OF WAITING FOR THE ANSWER! Love, Alisha

Hi jacque, Okay, I'm frickin' CRACKING UP LAUGHING MY ASS OFF!!!!! I just went back to the buddy group archives and discovered that you did indeed answer the B6 message...but not like I wanted. No wonder it took you so long to answer me. I didn't want information on Vitamin B6...I wanted to know if you've tried taking it yet. It is one of those things that Doctors recommend for women trying to conceive that are taking awhile. My luteal phase was short, nomally b/w 9-10 days. They say that normal is more like 10-16 days. It is recommended to take Vit B6 if you are on the lower end, or 16 or more days. I know many women on FF were using it, and that is how I learned about it. I also did some research online and found info online from a medical site that supported it's use. You are soooooooooooooo stinkin' funny! Thanks for doing the research, but I didn't want you to do that. I know I'm pregnant, but I'm not THAT lazy. I just wanted to suggest that maybe you could try taking it this month and see if it helps. The month that I got pg, I started taking it, and that's one of the only things I changed. I also bd'd every day from cd 11-16, and didn't drink any caffeine at all from the very beginning of my cycle. Anyways, if you want to try the B6, you can also take the Super B complex along with it. It really helps. Anyways, you are SOOOOO funny for taking so long to answer the question and then not even answering the right question. I'm gonna' have to cyber rip on you now. Take care, Alisha

Jacque-I still can't access your chart. I don't know what's going on. Could you send me a link in an email?
Emily-Sorry I haven't been saying anything to you. I was all hung up on rippin' up on Jacque. I hope you are well and feeling better from those stinkin' cysts. How is the visit going? Alisha

OMG Alisha you are so funny, I am laughing so hard that I am almost crying.... here is a copy of my chart, it will only go through today so I will also post a direct link. I am taking the B6, take a good look at my chart.... especially the little colored boxes, especially #9!!!! It says... 50 mg b6 per request of Alisha! It is so funny because you are always so mature and to the point in your post that when I read your last few I was completely blown away. You and I are more alike then I thought! lol --- I knew by your posts that you wanted me to take it, I just posted the info so you could confirm that is why you wanted me to take it. I also posted it so Emily could know what we are talking about. Hee Hee I thought it was so funny when you were talking about pregnant women being lazy... ---- As you can see, by my beautiful chart, I still have some fertile signs.... so we are still babydancing. ---- Anyway the last few days I have been soooo tired. Thursday and Friday I was in bed by 7pm and today I have already taken a 2 hour nap and I am STILL tired.. Not sure what is up with that. I hope it is a good sign though. My guess is that 16 was my O day. And chances are if FF marks it as CD 17 I will override and change it to CD16. --- Dear God, you have less then nine weeks left. I want to send you a baby gift, so keep your eyes out for a package from me. My post office sucks, and the hours are the same as what I work... so I might not get it out until next Saturday.... either way, I wanted to give you a heads up. Emily: Hello! Have you called the Dr yet? Do you have any news? How is your visit with the inlaws going??? I cannot wait to hear from you again! Jacque

Hey girls, Okay Jacque-I'm so glad that I was able to give you a good laugh...we all need that every once in awhile. I was able to access your chart, but not by clicking on the link. I had to copy and paste the address into my navigator bar. Not sure what is up with that, but oh well at least I saw the chart. I obsessed over it for a LONG time. I would say that you ovulated on Day 17, based on the cp. I've also read a lot about a slow rise, and I'm guessing that is what FF is thinking happened on cd16, and they chose cd 17 b/c of the bigger rise and the cp. It seems like o day was like half way b/w days 16 and 17. I'm so excited for you b/c you BD'd perfectly...at least it seems that way. Plus, you cm pattern looks like mine did for the cycle that I got pregnant!!!!! After ovulation, I always dried up pretty quickly, but on both of my pregnancy charts, I still had fertile cm during the whole waiting period. I was actually very confused by it, and kept changing my FF chart from EW to C or C to dry b/c I thought that it would screw up my coverline... but I kept track on a paper one at home too, and I was more honest on that one. Anyways, I am sooooooooo feeling good about this cycle for you. Your chart looks GREAT! I want to see a steady temp for the next few days, and then a big ol' dip around 7-10dpo, followed by a huge spike followed by maintained temps until after testing day! That's what I'm praying for for you hon! This just HAS TO BE IT! By the way, that is so funny what you put on your chart about the "request by Alisha..." I was crackin' up. And, thanks for thinking about sending my a gift for the baby. You're a real sweety and I wish we lived in the same town so we could be friends in person. Emily-Earth to Emily, where are you? We miss you hon! You should try the B6 next month too. Who knows??? It worked for me. Love, Alisha

Hey, girls! Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry I've been gone. I had in-laws in town. Also, we started our MTV at our church which is the first big event since I started my new job. We had about 400 kids, so I had to coordinate everything. It went great, but just meant a big week of work for me. And my birthday was this weekend, but kinda sucked because I was ironically throwing a baby shower that day. It was fun though. Now, my sweet girl is sick. Thought it was just a cold, but she's got 102 fever, so I'm taking her to the doc tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be another ear infection!! I hate her taking all that medicine. Anyway, Jacque, it sounds like this month could be it! Oooohhhh, I so hope so!!! And you have been so good about bd'ing! Woo hoo! Alisha, girl it's around the corner. I can't wait! I can't WAIT to find out what it is and see a picture!!!! the rest of your famikly is beautiful, so I know this one will be too! We're so excited for you! Okay, can you guys give me a refresher on the B6? I would totally try it next month. Here's the lowdown on me: I took my last dose of clomid over 5 weeks ago. I have had cramps off and on since then. Pretty much every day. I've been pretty much convinced that it was causing cysts so I wanted to take some time off. Also, I threw a alphabet block at my poor hubby when I had a meltdown. What???!!! Who does that??? So, it was making me crazy. Anyway, I decided to take a break. But, I've still been cramping, so I went back to the doctor and she didn't do an u/s. Which annoys me. But, oh well. she's going on maternity leave in March, so that may be an opportune time to get a second opinion. I decided, with her help, that if this month didn't work, I'm taking at least next month, and maybe the next off from clomid and off from charting. Just for my sanity. Please give me your opinions, girls. If there's anything else you can think of that I should try, let me know. The cramping is driving me crazy, though! I'm so over it! Okay, that was a little much, sorry. I missed you girls! Love you both! em

Personals in a bit... for now, here is a me update....
Well, the last several days have been eventful to say the least. Thursday and Friday of last week I was sooo tired, that both nights I was in bed by 7pm! Friday I ended up having the worst headache that I have ever had, I had the parents pick up their kids two hours early. I have never done that before, but my head hurt so bad that I was throwing up. I caved and took a Tylenol. I never take any sort of medication. I felt so guilty, what if I am pregnant? I know it will not hurt the baby, but still... I do not want to take any chances.
The Saturday I started to feel better, so Mike and I decided that the three of us were going to go to Mike's parents house for Christmas. Well, we get on the road, and the BREAKS IN THE VAN STOP WORKING!!! What is up with that? It scared the crap out of me. So, Mike (with all of his racing and mechanic experience) drives the van home..... but cannot figure out what is wrong with it. He had never been stumped when it come to a vehicle. He has worked on everything from Cars, to Semi's, to Locomotives! So... it is going into the shop on Wednesday, I hope it does not cost us an arm and a leg....
Sunday Mike's parents came here for Christmas. Thank God that was over. I feel like we have been celebrating Christmas for ages. His parents were actually pretty nice. Cheryl took her trip to Wal-mart (she always goes to WalMart while she is here)... no clue why, they have their own walmart.... The worst part was when we were talking about having a baby, the subject of names came up... so we told them, and she had NOTHING to say. She made an odd face and changed the subject.... oh, well.
As for the Bears.... I hated the way the game ended, but it was not as bad as the Colts game! I cannot believe that idiot kicker missed the field goal! As for the Colts not winning (again) it seems like they always flake out during the important games. It is all ok though, I know that this is J Bettis's last year and I hope the steelers make it all they way to the superbowl!

My temps suck. I hope they go up tomorrow. I am so moody that even the dog wants nothing to do with me. I am tired, hungry, and all I want is some me time. I am not usually like this, but I am not considering these pregnancy symptoms. I am considering them Jacque is a total psycho bit$h and AF is right around the corner symptoms. We are talking major PMS. I hope and pray this is still our month, but if things to not change I am going to be counting myself out really soon. Ok, I just found out that my family carries the gene for Factor 5. It is a clotting disorder. Do not know much about it, but alot of my cousins have it. So that means chances are that my dad carries the jean also. From what I under stand the only way I can have it is if my mom has it too. It is rare, but not too rare... because my dad's siblings all married someone who has it and now all of their kids do too. I have to be tested because I do not know if my mom is a carrier (she passed away) and her parents are also dead. So... now I have to go in for testing. I talked to my DR last night, he is NOT concerned. So that put my mind somewhat at ease. But still..... Factor 5 causes the one thing we all fear.... reaccurant miscarriages. Please pray that I do not carry this gene, and that I get my BFP this month.. told you I was moody, I went from being pissy to crying between the beginning and end of this email..... Jacque
