You girls are so funny! I am so sorry, but I have been CRAZY busy at work. It's just so hard to try and juggle it all. Also, Scottie and I are both getting over a little cold. AF did come, as you guessed, but believe it or not, I haven't been that bummed at all! I'm so happy, that somehow I'm feeling some peace about it all...I kinda feel like maybe it's just not my time right now. I feel better than I've felt in months. On the flip side, this is our 12th month. Crazy. I've got an appointment at a new doctor's office (a reproductive endocrinologist/infertility doctor) on Wednesday. Scott's going with me and I assume they will test Scott first thing. But, hopefully he can give us some insight. Although, I'm not sure how agressive I'm going to be about things, but am excited about getting some information. First and foremost, Alisha, don't EVER think that we don't want to hear about your precious pregnancy. I have NEVER had a hard time, in fact, went to a sweet shower today. I love hearing about other girls and their pregnancies. I would never be anything but excited for you! I can't wait to hear about your appointment and ultrasound! I'm anxious to hear if you're dialated yet!!! Jacque--I'm sorry that stupid hefer showed! Ughhh. But, we would have Halloween babies! I'll tell you what's funny, too. My due date this month would be on Scottie's birthday! October 30th. So, they would be exactly 3 years apart. I love having a Halloween baby, but I would have to ask my doc to induce early, just so that my sweet girl would have her own birthday. I'd probably go early anyway, she was two weeks early. Too fun. Hopefully, I'll get pregnant this month and not need to do anything with this new doctor. Say a prayer for me. I'll keep you posted and you guys do the same! Take care! Love, em

Hi girlies, Em-It was SO NICE to hear from you again. I will say a prayer for you about getting pg this month without the help of a specialist. Maybe you're right and it just hasn't been your time...until now that is. Ha ha! I hope that you get your Halloween baby b/c that would be too cool. I am still contracting away, and nervous that I should go in to labor and delivery. I just keep holding off, but it is so weird that I'm having so many contractions. I just don't get it. I can't wait until my next appt. when I get to schedule the c-section. I'm glad that you are keeping such a positive attitude. I think that goes a long ways! Jacque-How you doing hon. It cracks me up how you went from being positive that I was having a boy, to leaning towards a girl, to 99% positive it is a boy. Are you sure you're not pg? You have that indecisiveness thing down pat. Ha ha! Take care, Alisha

Hello girls, So, we had the scare of a lifetime last night, and I was in Labor and Delivery for 3 hours! Yesterday at about 4:00pm, we headed for an hour and a half trip to my nieces house for her 2nd birthday party. When we left, I started getting contractions. I got like 7 in an hour, so we almost turned around, but my DD started bawling b/c I told her we might not be able to go to Ashlyn's birthday party today. So, I bit the bullet and took my chances. I had a few more contractions before I got to my mom's house (she lives in the same town as my niece.) Anyway, my mom and I headed to my niece's party, and I had a few more, but nothing to write home about. It wasn't until about 9:00, when we were heading home that I started to panic. I started timing them after I had 3 within 30 minutes. They started out about 15 minutes apart, and then they went to 9, and then 4!!! I was totally freaking out b/c it felt exactly like the early stages of labor that I had with my DD. So, we dropped Yesi off with her other grandma, and headed to the hospital. By the time I got there, I had had 13 contractions in 90 minutes. Anyways, to make a long story short, I was put on all those crazy machines, and after 3 hours of observation, they determined that I was indeed having contractions and it was caused from dehydration. Evidently, I wasn't drinking enough water, so my uterus became irritated and started contracting like crazy. They made me drink a huge bucket of water and juice and observed me for another hour and then released me. I have to go to take some pre-term labor classes b/c I'm evidentally at a higher risk for it now. Ugh!!! What a crazy night!
Jacque-Sorry you had to see that twice. ha Ha!

OMG, Alisha! I'm just checking the posts quickly cause' I've got a splitting headache and heading to bed, but What!!! Girl, Jacque is right...GO DRINK SOME WATER!!!! Let me just say, I had preterm labor with Scottie and spent 2 nights in the hospital. Trust me, you DO NOT want that to happen. The medicine is horrific, the whole experience was horrible. I don't even know if I could do it again. I hated the medicine, the way it made me feel, etc, etc, etc. I'm so glad that you're okay, girl. I'll check in tomorrow. Love you both. em

Hey ladies! Happy Monday! Well, AF has left the building and we are starting the baby dancing tonight. I am feeling very very optimistic about this cycle. Between the weightloss, eating better, and Mike being home more (new job started last week) everything is going perfectly. I feel better about myself and have so much more energy. This is really what I needed, I was so sick and tired of being so moody and depressed. No more of that thank-you very much! --- Anyway, I think we are going to use the instead cups again... I am still temping and charting, but I cannot find my ferning scope.. I think the cat ran off with it, so if that does not turn up I will not be getting another one.... I was not that impressed with it in the first place. This weekend was sooo much fun! Friday night Mike went out with the guys from the Vibrator department for one last Hurrah... we NEVER go out without each other, we do everything together as a family... so it was weird not having him at home... but Kailey and I went out to dinner and then came home and watched Princess Diaries and did our hair and makeup. --- Saturday we had a birthday party at the bowling ally for one of my day care kids, it was so much fun everyone had a great time and Kailey won!!! This is only the second time she has been bowling but I think it is about time for her to go more often. I think she would really like being in a kids league. But I do not want it to interfere with Tumbling.... --- Then Saturday night I went to a sex toy party!!! This is the second one I have been to, and once you get over the fact why you are there and just look at it as a night out with the girls then it is fun. I only really knew Dawn (the friend who hosted the party) the rest of the ladies I just knew from seeing them around town. The food was awesome and as for the products they had a lot of stuff that was more sweet then hard core. I got some love notes for Mike and a little game and of course a few toys... lol --- Sunday we went shopping. There was nothing we needed but I ended up getting Kailey a new jacket for the spring and some baby stuff (bibs, socks, and diaper rash cream) it was all on sale... woohoo!!! I am going to get my morning workout in now... and they I will be back to catch up on personals. Talk to you soon! Jacque

Hi girls, Jacque-What the heck is the "Vibrator department?" (By the way, you should go play with your sex toys.) You had me flippin' crackin' up with the repeated phrase. (By the way, you should go play with your sex toys.) that toy party sounds like fun. (By the way, you should go play with your sex toys.) I have always wanted to go to one, but no one I know is brazen enough to host one. (By the way, you should go play with your sex toys.) Maybe I should! Ha! (By the way, you should go play with your sex toys.) Okay, enough with the copy-catting! Anyway, thanks for your concern. Congrats on the working out and the weight loss. Maybe that's just what your body needs for this month to result in a BFP! I hope so, cause I'm sick of seeing that stinkin' yellow butterfly and her striped wings. I'm ready to see a green frog- (very fitting color for you-ya' horn dog-goin' to sex toy parties-BD queen!) Em-Hello there girl! I'm sorry about your headache. Hey, are you trying out any of those things I mentioned that worked for me while TTC? I hope so. Maybe you should go buy a sex toy and you and Jacque can perform an experiment to see if you get pg. I'll be the control group, b/c at 8 months pregnant, I'm not much into those. Ha ha! Serge is lucky he's even getting any at this point. I'm so stinking uncomfortable it's pathetic! That sucks that you went into pre-term labor with Scottie. How early was it that it happened to you? Well girls, as I mentioned I'm huge and uncomfortable! It really hit me today. My stomache is SO HARD it feels like a huge ass boulder is stuck inside me. It hurts to touch it, and near my belly button I feel like a hard little ball. I think it might be my child's knee...either that or it is a boy, and he's INCREDIBLY gifted in that area...much like his daddy. Ha! Can you believe an Elementary school teacher has a mouth like me? Love, Alisha

Emily: I hope thisis your month and that you do not have to go onto the next step. I will tell you this.... I just bought a book, it is called the Conception Chronicals. It is WONDERFUL. It is about three women and their TTC journey. It completely explains Clomid, IUI, IVF... it is wonderful. I hope and pray it does not come to that (for either of us) but if it does then I already know what to expect. (((HUGS))) Someday you will make Scottie a big sister. Keep your eye on the prize and do not lose hope! Alisha: Mike used to build industrial strenght vibrators. They are used on oil rigs, dump trucks and stuff like that. It was so much fun when he worked in that department, becuase of the looks we got when we told people that Mike made vibrators for a living. So, no it is not that kind.... lol --- I just asked about your sex life in the preggo thread, so I was so suprised to see that you posted about it here... you already answered my questions before they were asked. --- lol on it being the baby's penis. That is so funny!!!! He would make his daddy so proud! --- Are you drinking your water like a good girl??? Not much new here. I have completely stuck with my work out routine and I have lost a little over 6 pounds in two weeks. I am still making sure I am eating enough and drinking a ton of water. It has actually been easy. I just need motivation, and that little ticker in my siggy works, I love seeing it move! The only thing is that I am not sure if I should keep exercising during the TWW. I know that it is ok for people who are used to working out to continue to work out while pregnant... but what about me? lol It is a low impact workout, I do two of them twice a day... I am thinking about only doing it once a day during the tww and then every other day once I get a BFP... what do you think? I hope all is going well, I will talk to you soon! Jacque

I just found out one of my friends is 35 weeks pregnant. She kept it a secret this long because she was having ALOT of complications. I am so happy for her. Now I know why she has been to "busy" to keep our dinner dates! She is going to be induced in two weeks... and we do not know what she is having. I love the fact that more and more people are keeping their baby's gender a surprise. I think we are going to do the same thing!
This weekend we have a birthday party, the super bowl party, Kailey's First Reconciliation, Kailey's Pom Pom clinic, Church (three times), and I have to get some groceries... I hope I have time to relax... lol
How is everyone else today?

Hey girls, Jacque-That's funny that he worked at a vibrator department! I'm sure that was a fun joke to talk about. As for the excercise-GOOD FOR YOU! I'm impressed by the weight loss. I think it would be fine to excercise during the two week weight. Excercise rids your body of toxins, so I think it would be fantastic to keep it up once a day. After that BFP, every other day or even 5 days a week would be okay. Yes, I'm drinking my water like a good girl...and peeing too! Emily-I hope all is well with you. I agree with Jacque-you will make Scottie a big sister someday soon...whether it takes intervention, or not. I hope that you and Jacque both don't have to do anything but BD though. Take care girls, Alisha

I'm here... but I am so sick that I actually called off work. I have not called off work due to illness in over two years. I have to get Kailey from school in about 30 minutes and it is taking everything in me to stay awake. I think I have a cross between a cold and the flu. I was hoping to spend the majority of the day today working on taxes... no such luck. Well, I am going to go back and catch up on what I missed..... so, if I am not back in a few that means I am yacking again.... Jacque

Hey girls, Jacque- My take on your chart...well, seeing as you are sick, your temps are probably screwy. I'm not sure what effect sickness could have on an ovulation predictor kit, but your temps don't look like they normally do when you o. It's probably just the sickness. BUT...you are doing awesome on Bd'ing so I think your bases are covered either way. I would BD every day though until you are sure that your really o'd. I have read that sickness can delay ovulation too, so it may be that you got a false positive on the opk and you will o in a day or two. I'm glad that you are feeling better. Emily- Hey girl. I hope all is well with you. What cday are you on? Why don't you join this site ya' punk? Then we could keep track of your cycles along with you.
Well, I think my baby is growing a ton of hair...I've got heart burn from hell! I knew Yesi would be covered with it b/c I had heartburn every day for like 5 months. This one may not be as hairy b/c it just started last week. Yesi had a full head of black, curly hair when she was born. Man, I can't wait to see what this baby looks like (especially b/w the legs...ha ha!) It's fun when you're a multi-cultural family b/c you never know what you're going to get. Serge has many cousins that are married to Norwegians, (I'm Norwegian) and they have one kid with dark skin, eyes and hair, and the other a toe head with blue eyes. It's totally possible b/c Serg'e's Grandma and mother both have blue eyes. It's cool looking b/c they are darker skinned, but with blue eyes. Cool huh? Take care, Alisha
