Sorry I completely freaked out earlier... I have no clue what is wrong with me. The Dr told me that I do not need to worry, he said the chances of me having Factor 5 are so very very very very slim. He called me after hours last night to talk to me about it, when I first heard his voice my heart sank, I thought it was going to be bad news. But no, he just called me because he knew that I was a worry wart and wanted to tell me that he thinks everything is ok. After all %30 of all women have a m/c and a million things could have caused mine. He said the chances of Factor 5 causing my last m/c are almost nonexsistant. So...... He does not want to test me for it yet, it is a simple blood test to detect it BUT Factor 5 is very conterversial, some medical professionals do not even believe it exists. The government sites I went to have next to nothing for info, most of the info I got came from chat rooms and my hysterical cousin....... so, I feed off of other people's experiences and made myself worry over nothing. I am more calm now, and not near as worried I was was earlier today.... As for meds to help the condition, if I do have it - I can give myself daily injections (that is what my cousin Amy is doing) but that is only if I am diagnosed. My DR said if it helps ease my mind I should increase my garlic intake and also drink at least one glass of purple grape juice every other day... both of these foods have a natural effect on keeping your blood from clotting. So... tonight I will be going to walmart to get some juice and garilc... yummy. Talk to you all soon! Jacque

Hey girls, Jacque- You are right on about charts. Don't stress over one or two low temps b/c sometimes crappy charts do end up BFP's. I'm glad you're feeling better about the Factor thingy...what a sweet Doctor you have to call you just to put your mind at ease. What are you talking about about the names for your child? You haven't mentioned anything. I'm sorry that you're feeling so moody, but don't count yourself out yet. Sometimes I believe my brother when he says a lot of what happens to us is in our mind. The month that I got pg this time, I just believed so strongly that I was pg. that sometimes I think I willed myself (and God helped of course,) into being pg. Ha Ha! You have to keep your positive outlook, b/c you will get that BFP, and I'm still praying for you hon! Emily, (Jacque too) Happy B day first of all! Yesenia's Bday is this Sunday. I can't believe she will be 3! As for the ttc advice. My number one piece would be to chart. I know you are sick of it, but I so believe in the power of charting...and if you do have to see a fertility specialist (God willing you won't) then it would be so much better for you to have the charts to back up what you are saying. I think they take you more seriously that way. Second of all, I always tell people (and maybe I already have) to read the book, Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Tori Weischler (I think?) It is a fantastic book that has some really good info in it. If you haven't read it, it is fantastic and an easy read and I really hope you will. I recommended it to a friend and she got pregnant the first month that she read it (she had been trying for nearly a YEAR!) She was thankful that I had recommended it and I was glad to have told her. Third, if your luteal phase is short or abnormally long, I would reccommend taking Vitamin B6 (50 mg) along with a Super B complex. It helps regulate long lp's and lengthen short ones. I used it the month I got pg. Fourth, if you drink caffeine, I would stop from the very beginning of your cycle. Both times I got pg. were the months that I did that. Fifth, have you ever done a detox diet? They make teas that you drink and there are special diets that you can follow for a week to rid your body of toxins (they consist of pretty much all veggies and fruits.) I did that the month that I got pg. with Yesi and have heard that a lot of women get pg. from detoxing. They are safe, if you get a reputable one and only follow it for a week. I hope I haven't given you too much advice, but I just want so badly for you and Jacque to get pg. and I was willing to try anything when I was trying-both times. All of these things have worked for me girls, good luck! Take care girlies! Alisha

Alisha: I am so excited right now, Linda - my friend from the Illinois Board just found out she is pregnant!!! The three of us (Linda, Diane, and I) have all been ttc after a m/c and just about the same amount of time.... and they are both pregnant now. We always said that we would all get our BFP the same month!!! It is so funny, I just discovered Linda's ticker, she is on a Cruise so we have not heard from her yet! I am the next to test on our site, and I hope I am the next one to get a BFP! I am so optimistic right now! I can wait to test, at least I think I can..... oh well, no matter what we will know in just a few days!--- The best part is that there is nothing special about her chart either. How awesome is that!!! ---- Last night I drank my grape juice like a good girl, and you know... it was as dry as heck. Oh well, it is better then most things I have tasted. --- I just updated the CD tracker... it looks like it is about time for your baby to move up another box! And Nicola's due date was a few days ago, our baby boom is about to begin!!!!! Emily: Hey girl! I hope you are having a great day! Jacque

Hey, girls! I hope you're both doing great. Well, I think I'm probably out this month. My temp dropped HUGE yesterday, but went back up above coverline this morning. What's up with that? And I spotted a tiny bit on Friday night, but haven't until then. But, this morning, I think AF is here. I'm gonna wait and see if it's just a little heavy spotting or AF. I hate actually typing it into my chart "light, medium, or heavy". It's just like giving up. So, this will be my 12th month. Ughhhhhh. I'm so pissed. Alisha-I hope you're doing great! Jacque-Has AF come? em

Hey girls, Em-I'm sorry hon. I hope it is just some spotting. I'm feeling fine, but anxious. It seems like the due date will never get here, but I have to be patient. It sucks being patient, doesn't it? I will keep praying for your BFP! Jacque-Congrats for your friend. That's wonderful that she got a BFP! I hope that you get one soon too. Only a few more days! Yesi's BDay was a hit, I'll tell you more later. I gotta' go to work. Alisha

Hey girls, Jacque-I'm sorry you got a BFN today, but I don't think you should count yourself out yet. First of all, you haven't marked menstruation on your chart yet. Also, I still think your real "O" date could have been CD17, and in that case, you'd only be 11dpo-too early for a BFP most of the time. I know your friend Linda got a BFP at 11dpo, but not everyone does. Look at me. Right now, your chart looks exactly like mine did the month I got pg, except mine had 5 BFN's and didn't get a BFP until 17dpo. Please don't forget that! You might still be the 5th BFP this month for the Chatterbox! I'll keep praying for you! Emily-What happened with the questionable af. I hope she stayed away, and your off celebrating a BFP! I wish you'd join the Chatterbox so that when you do get your BFP, Jacque can announce it like she does for everyone else. I won't talk about myself or my pg today, b/c I'm feeling like this isn't the time that you girls need to hear any of that. I'll just say I'm thinking of you both, and I hope and pray that you both get your wishes soon. Love, Alisha

Hey hon, We're on at the same time. I went to check your chart and when I came back, you had posted. I'm so sorry about the stupid cow. I'm really glad to see that you are keeping up with the B6. I hope that it makes all the difference. Have you considered the no caffeine thing? I'm not sure if you drink it or not, but if you do, you might try giving it up this month. I'm so wishing and praying that you get that BFP honey! You have an excellent attitude. Just keep up that BD'ing like you did last month. I think you should BD from days 12-20! That's my best advice yet, and fun too! Have you ever tried elevating your hips afterwards too? I forgot, but I did that too. Halloween baby, come on down!!! Love, Alisha

Alisha: It is so funny that you brought up your negative test, and the fact that you were 7 days late before you got a BFP. I tell EVERYONE about that! All of my online pals know about you, I always tell them not to give up home, and then go on to repeat the fact that you were 7 days late before you got a BFP. It always gives everyone (including me) so much hope. But, like I said I am out. AF is here but I am so excited about having a Halloween due date. That is my second favorite holiday. Plus it is still not too close to Christmas and I will have the chance to dress the baby up for Halloween!!! Well, that is if I deliver a few days early!! - Listen to me, I am so crazy! Anyway I have a TON of hope about this cycle, I mean Halloween, how cool is that! --- Have you had any more Braxton Hicks Contractions? I do not remember having those with Kailey, did you have them with Yesi? --- I am glad her party went well, did she have a good time? What all did she get?? --- I also wanted to tell you that it does not matter how down I am about TTC, I LOVE to hear about your pregnancy, I look forward to your updates! So never ever feel like you need to hold back for my sake. (((HUGS))), thanks though! But I have to say I will be kicking some pregnant butt if those updates come to a hault!
Emily: Hey girl, how are you doing??? If you started today we will really be cycle buddies!!!! I know you have not gotten that BFP yet, because if you did you would have already been on the site to tell us all about it. (((HUGS)))

Alisha: We keep posting at the same time... I love it when we are both online! yes, I prop my hips, for 30 minutes. I hate it but I do it... and Mike usually reads to me to keep me awake, that way I do not fall asleep and roll over. Also.... no caffeine here since LAST February. Ok, maybe a total of 6 cans of pop, but over a year that is not bad... right? lol
Whats new in your neck of the woods?

Hello ladies! Happy Wednesday. I hope you are both having a wonderful week. Nothing new to report since last night -- well, I did start reading a new book. It is called The Conception Chronicles, and so far I love it. So far it is basically focusing on what goes through an average womans mind during the TTC process. As I get further into it it has started talking about IUI, Clomid, IVF.... and finally I truly understand what all of that is, and no longer fear having to deal with it. The best part is that I am now more confident then ever that this is my cycle but if it is not, I have only been TTC for 7 months since the m/c and that is not really that bad! WooHoo! I am so happy to have a fresh start! I added my weight loss ticker to my siggy. I want you ladies to cheer me on when I am doing good, and give me a hard time when I am not. I hope that seeing the ticker every day will help keep me on my toes. I am being smart about weight loss, do not want to do anything that can hurt me or a little on one the way. --- The 5.2 pound loss is from the beginning of January until today. Jacque

Hi girls, Jacque- I am so proud of you about the weight loss. That is so wonderful! I know how hard it is to lose weight, so good for you. What a great way to start off your pregnancy. Are you excercising too? I haven't excercised for about 3 weeks, b/c I'm so nervous about all these contractions I've been having. The last two times I excercised, I had them back to back and it really scared me. Yes, I had Braxton Hicks contractions with Yesi from about 25 weeks on. But, they didn't hurt, and they didn't get regular until about 36 weeks. I've been having them since 24 weeks this time, and for about a month now, they've actually hurt. I mean like push up off the edge of your seat, pressure in the pelvis kind of hurt. I don't know why the Doctor doesn't seem as concerned about it as me, but maybe she will be when she sees me at my next appt. (which is on 2/13...remember...Yippee! Ultrasound scheduling date.) I can't even flippin' wait! I'm glad that my story of 4 BFN's followed by a BFP at 7dpo inspires people. That's why I tell it. I just feel so badly for those women that give up after they see a few BFN's-especially the naughty ones like you that test way too early in the first place (we'll just forget the fact that I was one of them too.....Ha!) I hope that this month you will hold off until you are like 14dpo-yeah right, but I can hope. That way, you won't give up hope, b/c it breaks my heart to "hear" you give up hope. A Halloween baby would be WONDERFUL! I so hope that is what you get! Good for you for proppin' those hips and no caffeine. I really think it helps. You're right about 7 months really not being that long. It's not. Remember the average is 6 months to a year...so you're actually still on the low end of average. Doesn't that make you feel better? Emily- Hey girl, we miss you. I hope that you are okay. I'm sad b/c you must have gotten the stupid bitch, or you would be on telling us all about that BFP like Jacque said. But, on the positive side, you could have a Halloween baby too! I hope that all is well with you hon. Keep us posted. Alisha
