Hi Kristina, I'm glad you are joining the group. It took me an hour, but I was FINALLY able to post my ultrasound pic in my signature. Thanks to your help. The problem was that it wouldn't take the url code, I had to choose the third choice, the img or (bb code.) Then it worked. So, now everyone can see both of our little cherubs! I'm glad that I'm going to get to know you. You are such a beautiful mommy. Every time I see your picture I think you are going to make a beautiful baby. I hope you don't think I'm a freak for saying that the first time we really chatted. I'm really not. So, a little about me. I'm 29 years old, and the mother of an absolutely BEAUTIFUL almost 3 year old named Yesenia. She is the love of my life, along with her daddy, Serge. He was born in El Salvador, Central America and moved here when he was 2. We met in college, and I fell in love with him at first sight! He has the kind of smile that will melt your heart, and the heart of a saint. I feel like the luckiest woman in the whole world to have such a wonderful husband and beautiful and precious daughter. Anyways, my husband started out being my tutor in Spanish, and he did such a fantastic job that I am now a Bilingual Teacher. I teach in Oregon, and live in a town where Hispanic people are the majority. There is an almost 80% Hispanic population in our area. Even though I'm the minority, I feel like it's a perfect fit living here. I love my students and their parents, and I've fallen in love with the Spanish language. My husband also became a teacher 4 years ago, I've been doing it for 6 years. After we graduated from college, we got married a week later, and then two years later he got himself into a program designed for minorities with Bachellor's degrees to become teachers. It was a great program, b/c he was paid 3/4 of a teacher's salary while he was studying to be a teacher. The weird part was that they gave him his own classroom right off the bat. He wasn't even a teacher yet. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity, which I'm glad that he took. He loves his job, and we both teach 4th and 5th grade in the same town. It's wonderful! Different schools though. Anyways, while he was finishing up his program, and I was finishing up my Master's degree, I was pregnant with Yesi. I gave birth to her about 5 months before I got my Master's. Then, this July, I found out I was pregnant again. We're VERY excited. Today was an awesome day! We loved seeing our little cherub and speculating on the sex. We think we may have seen little boy parts, but chose not to find out the sex. We'll see. I've felt that this baby is a boy all along. I CAN'T WAIT TO KNOW FOR SURE! Well, post to me about yourself now, b/c I can't wait to get to know you. Alisha

Alisha, Iam 31 yrs old and HB is 32. We meet on a blind date that my good friend set up. We've been together for 8yrs know and we both love each other so much. We dated for 5 yrs then moved in together and bought a place together then got engaged 2 yrs later. We live in New Jersey know and love living here. I work in NYC as a Secretary and my DH works as an Insurance Adjuster/Manager in New Jersey. We both can't wait to be parents already and have our own family. I had a m/c in April I was 6wks along. So I guess I can't stop thinking about that happening again. Do you know anything about bleeding or spotting during pregnancy? This morning I woke up to some bleeding and almost had a heart attack. I called the doc and I had to go in for an ultrasound to make sure everything was OK with the baby. The Ultrasound was good the baby had a heart beat and it was measuring @ 10wks 1day. I also got to see the baby move and it's legs were all stretched out for the first time ever. That was so amazing!!!!!!!! I have a doc appointment tonight anyway so we will see what's going on. Hopefully it's nothing threating to the baby. I also got 2 more ultrasound pictures which look so much bigger than last weeks. I got to see the babies spine and the umbilical cord too. Alisha how has your pregnancy been lately? Did you experience any morning sickness at all? I didn't have any morning sickness yet hopefully I won't. Look forward getting to know you. I wasn't able to see you ultrasound? Kristina K I

Hi Kristina, I'm so sorry about your last miscarraige. That has to be a terrible pain. However, don't worry about the bleeding. My sister-in-law had some bleeding off and on during her pregnancy, starting with week 10. (Right where you are.) Also, I've heard that once you've heard the hearbeat, miscarraige rates are even lower than normal. I'm convinced that your baby will be fine. I'm so happy for you that you got to see the umbilical chord and spinal column. That is so exciting, isn't it! I fixed the problem with my ultrasound photo, as you can see in the sonogram photos section. Now you can see my sweet baby. My pregnancy is going fine. I had a ton of nausea during this pregnancy, up until 11 weeks. But, I didn't throw up at all this time. My last pregnancy was really tough too with morning sickness, but I did throw up. It is all worth it in the end though. My little girl is the love of my life. I can't wait to have this next baby as well. Don't you worry about your little one, just relax. The worse thing you can do is worry! Take care Kristina, and let me know what the Doctor says tonight. Alisha

Alisha, Your such a sweet girl. The doctor said everything looked great with the sonogram and the baby is fine and everything else inside. The babies heart beat was 180 this time. I have no internal bleeding but I could of broke a blood vessel from couching so much. My doc put me out of work for 2 wks until I get passed my first trimester. I was very concerned about m/c so I think that's why he did that. He said just relax and don't strain yourself and everything should be OK. I have to see him again next week. My boss must love me . Oh good Kristina- I'm so glad to hear that your baby is fine. I'm sure that he/she will be fine the whole way through. Enjoy the next 2 weeks! That heartbeat is nice and strong. You know what they say about fast heartbeats. They say anything over 140 is a girl, but I don't believe it. My Doctor said that it's all a bunch of hogwash b/c all babies have fast heartbeats for the first trimester. So, I wouldn't buy into that yet. I'm curious to hear some of your symptoms so that I can make a prediction on the sex. How are you feeling? Take care! Alisha P.S. Jacque you are NEVER butting in! You are always welcome.

Hi Kristina, What is couching? I've never heard of that before. I started dying my hair at 11 weeks. My OB told me that she usually recommends that if people are worried about it to wait until 12 weeks, but I wasn't, so I dyed. She told me that she personally didn't think there was any risk at all in dying your hair. If you're worried, my advice would be to wait until you're passed the 12 weeks mark, and then go to town...literally! Hey, I just realized that you're a moderator. I didn't know that. Hmmm....your symptoms sound different than any I've had. Keep me updated. I'd love to guess the sex, as your pregnancy progresses. I've always heard that no morning sickness can indicate boy??? I had terrible morning sickness with Yesenia, and I did this time too. Of course, I think this one's a boy, but...who knows??? How cute that you have to get new clothes soon. I think I had to break down and buy maternity clothes at 14 or 16 weeks this time. I can't remember which. I started showing at like 10 weeks though this time! 2nd time's a charm I guess. Take care, Alisha

Jacque & Alisha, The sonogram is on a piece of Film so it's dark and you have to hold it up to the light to see the picture. I tried to take a picture of it but you can't see it at all . Next time I get a sonogram I will ask for a picture like last time so I can post it on the board. Sorry girls I tried. Kristina K

It's okay Kristina, we'll just have to wait to see your cute little baby. I can't wait! I had an ob/gyn appt today. My little girl or boy is just as great as can be. The heartbeat is nice and strong, (150's) and he/she was kicking so hard that the Doctor had a hard time getting a long enough listen. The baby kept kicking the monitor off of my stomach. It was cute and the Doctor was laughing away. Take care, Alisha

Kristina: I hope you are still taking it easy, you need to take care of YOU and that little baby. Be sure not to stress this week, are you cooking... or are you and your hubby going some where else for dinner?
Alisha: I am so happy your appointment went well! It sounds like your little one is quite the kicker. Maybe all that kicking is a little hint, maybe HE is a little football player... or then again... SHE might be gearing up to be a little prima ballerina!

Hey Jacque, I'm glad you stopped by. It seems that this group is not a very big one either. Just like our 2006 mommas. Yeah, I'm happy this one is a kicker. It makes it more fun that way. Sorry my messages are short. My DD is sick, pobrecita! She has a bad cold and is still struggling with constipation, b/c of the potty training. Take care girls, Alisha

Jacque,
Well my husband is cooking the turkey and other dishes and the other family members will be bringing some food too. We do this every year because it's easy that way. My family already said No Helping Allowed >:(especially my mom. So I guess I will just sit back and relax this Thanksgiving because next I will have a 5 month old. How crazy is that!!!!

Have a great Thanksgiving Jacque & Alisha
