Hi Ladies!!!! Well Jacque I finally posted 2 new sonogram pictures today the baby @ 13wks 1day. I will be going for a check-up tomorrow so I'm hoping my results will be in for the down syndrome screening. I hope everything is OK with my baby. I haven't done any Christmas/Hanukkah shopping yet we are so lazy when it comes to shopping. Either this week or next weekend we will start I guess. Mellisa have you set a date yet for your c-section? I just saw a friend of our's who had one done in October and she said it was very painful. Is that true for every women who has one? Kristina K P.S. Jacque don't worry about posting on this board you are invited whenever you want . Lots of luck to you this month and I'm for a BFP in 2 weeks for you.

Hey girls, I'm sorry I haven't checked in for awhile. I've been super busy with the end of the trimester and report cards. Only 3 more days until Xmas vacation! Woo Hoo!!! 19 days off to be with my family. Jacque & Kristina, I have not set my c-section date officially, but I'm pretty sure that it is going to be on the 17th of March (St. Patrick's day.) How fun, huh? I can't wait! So anyways, I'm not too nervous about it. I tried the natural delivery and I think the c-section is the way to go. I was in labor with Yesenia for 29 hours, and had no pain relief b/c the epidural didn't work. After that, I pushed for 2 hours, and she just wouldn't budge. Believe me, I was BEGGING for the c-section when it finally came. It was an emergency situation b/c Yesi and I were both in really bad shape. I kept throwing up and passing out, and her heart rate was REALLY low. Anyway, the recovery wasn't so bad, so don't worry if you do end up with one, either one of you. You just have to have an open mind b/c it could happen to anyone. Hopefully not to one of you though. I'm hoping to schedule the ultrasound at my next appt. on December 23rd. Jacque-I hope you are baby dancing right now! I can't wait to hear about your BFP! Don't be silly, you are welcome to post here. That's why it's called, "Pregnant Mommies, AND MOMMIES TO BE!" You will be pregnant soon, and you're already a mommy anyways, so forget about it. We will be offended if you don't post here. Kristina-I am excited for you about your Down's test results coming in soon. It is so hard waiting for those, isn't it? I'm sure your little sweety is just fine! I'm going to go look at your ultrasound photos, if they're posted in the ultrasound section. I'm sure your baby is beautiful, just like mommy. Melissa-I hope to hear from you soon. Alisha

Jacque: Hanukkah is Sundown on Dec 25 but the first is Dec 26. We still haven't gone shopping yet but we will this week defiantly. I'm sure you will get your BFP this month because your cycle is back to normal again and you have alot of people praying for you. I will be thinking of you Christmas morning.
Alisha: The Down's tests came back normal so everything is great with the baby. We have the Level 2 Sonogram on Jan 19th the day before my b-day hopefully we can find out the sex of the baby. What a great Birthday gift would that be for me!!!! I can't believe everything is going so well this time around I really can't wait to be a mommy like you ladies.
Good Luck Jacque and Lots of BABYDUST BABYDUST!!!!

Hi girlies, Well, my baby is kickin around like crazy. All this time, the baby has been kicking me down by my bladder, but finally I'm feeling some kicking up by my belly button, and the bottom of my lungs. Baby has decided to flip around some now. Kristina-I'm so excited for you that the Down's test was normal. Your just flying along in this pregnancy. I can't believe you are already 15 weeks pregnant. That is so exciting! I can't believe that I'm almost 27 weeks either. I'm only going to 39, so that means I've only got a little over 12 weeks to go. I'm going to change my ticker as soon as they tell me the scheduled delivery date. I hope that you do get to find out the sex of your baby. That will be the most exciting day for you. I remember when I found out with Yesenia. I wanted a baby girl so bad that when the tech told me it was a girl, I started balling and hugged him. I cried for like 3 hours b/c I was so happy. I really wanted a little girl! This time, I am so anxious, since we decided to wait. It will be so exciting though, finding out when the operation is over. Man!!!!!I can't wait for that! Jacque-Only a few more days until your BFP announcement will be posted on this site..God willing! I will be praying for you. Take care girls, Alisha

Hello! I am here, just super super busy! This was our last weekend before Christmas to get EVERYTHING done. So you can kind of consider it my last ditch effort to get all of my cards out on time, presents wrapped, and meals planned for the big day. I have not read any posts since FRIDAY, which is so not like me! I will be on all day today (well, after I get Kailey to school) and I will be a posting queen.
Talk to you then!

Kristina: I hope you got your shopping done, Hanukkah and Christmas are both within 6 days! A level 2 sonogram, huh? What is that? How exactly does that differ from a "normal" sonogram??? You are going to be a wonderful mommy! I hope you find out the gender on the 19th, that baby better cooperate! Alisha: I think the best part about being pregnant is feeling the baby move... Sounds like he is doing a little dance, either that or Karate moves in your belly!!! Thanks girls for all of the prayers and for being my cheerleaders.... I hope and pray that I will have good news to announce on Christmas Day!!! Jacque

Hi girls, Jacque-I hope you have that good xmas news as well. Yes, I agree that the best part of being pregnant is feeling the baby move. I get a real "kick" out of it...no punn intended. The worst part is the weight gain. I'm terrified to go in on Friday and find out how much I've gained. I know it will be a lot! The last time I checked, I had already gained 26 pounds, and that was a month ago. I am still ahead of last time though, but it is hard b/c I was already overweight to begin with. When I started this pregnancy, I was 55 pounds overweight. Now I'm like 80 pounds over. That is so disenheartening. I know it will all be worth it in the end though. When I was pregnant with Yesenia, I gained 61 pounds!!! But, after she was born, I lost 81 pounds in 2 years, so I know I can lose it again. I would love to get back down to the weight that I was when I got married. That is my goal after I'm done having kids, but I would like one more, so it will be tough. Anyways, I'm just praying that I can keep the weight gain under 40 pounds this time. That would be wonderful. I'm just so afraid that I gained a ton this last month, b/c it sure feels like it. I have a tendancy to retain water, so it is impossible for me to stay within the reccomended weight gain. After Yesi was born, I lost 43 pounds in 9 days, and you know most of that was water...that tells you how bad I was retaining water. You could push an indent in my foot so deep that it would hold water!!! We did it for fun. Kristina-I'm so excited for you to have your level 2 ultrasound. When I had mine, I cried through the whole thing and felt like a huge baby. It is such a special moment in time. Maybe you'll luck out and have to have 2 like I did. Take care girls, Alisha

Hi Girls!!!
Well I'm sure you heard today that NYC had a Transit strike which is crippling the City. There is no trains nor buses for anybody to get around in so everybody is walking or riding there bikes to work. We don't know how long it will take for the Transit to agree to a contract so it might take a few days which sucks. Especially because the holidays are this weekend.
Alisha: I really can't wait for the Level 2 sonogram and I hope everything is OK with he/she. I'm starting to feel some more flutters but nothing to crazy yet? I can't wait to feel the baby so I can experience what every other women feels like when it kicks or moves around your belly.
Jacque: I saw that Trent's due date was this week and I'm very sorry but don't worry because we will be hearing from you on Sunday morning that you got a BIG FAT BFP.

Hey girls, Kristina, I know you must be so excited about that level 2 ultrasound. My sister in law just had hers yesterday and found out she was having a boy. I'm so excited for her, but even more anxious for this baby to be born now! Everyone was hoping for a boy b/c we haven't had a boy in the family for 17 years! Maybe we will be having two within the next few months. You just relax though, your baby is just fine, and you'll probably start to feel him/her kicking in about 2 weeks! It is a wonderful feeling! Jacque- I'm still praying for you to get that BFP! I just can't wait to hear about it. I too am very sorry about Trent. That must be such a difficult thing to go through, I can't imagine...and hope and pray that I never have to. I hope that your little angel baby sends you a BFP for xmas morning! Merry Xmas girls! Alisha

Is this to good to be true? ? Do not get excited yet..... Ok ladies, it is 6:30 am on Christmas Day. I tested at 2 am, even earlier then I said I would. I waited and prayed while I was sitting on the toilet.... and looked at the test after 3 minutes. I used a + or - EPT test.... then a few minutes after that (basically after the shock of it being negative again wore off) I got up... and looked at it but this time under the light. I do not have my glasses on... and I can see a very very very very faint line. So I turn the stick at an angle, and yes... I can see the line BUT IT IS SO light.... I think I am willing myself to see it, I knock it up to being tired and go back to bed.... 6:20am I get up to pee again, and look at the SAME test... I can still see the line. I check my cervix, it is still hard and I have a bit of yellowish creamy/eggwhite CM. Not sure what is going on... I do not want to get excited... but maybe my Christmas miracle will come true. I want to test again, but it is 6:34am on Christmas Day I live in the middle of NO WHERE and EVERYTHING IN a 30 mile radius is closed AND THAT WAS MY ONLY TEST.... what to do..... As of right now, at least until someone else sees the line or I get a "real" BFP I am going to stay call and NOT get excited..... I just want to give you an update like I said I would. Merry Christmas! Jacque
