GIRLS.....I NEED !!!!
Okay so Quentin and I were talking last night and we've decided that neither of us really like the nursery the way it is. We want to do something more girlie. SO we are re-doing our nursery. My problem is I can't justify spending alot of money on a bedding set, but the one I like is ALOT!!! At least in my opinion. How much do you think is too much for a bedding set? How much did you spend on crib bedding?
I really want to do something I am not going to regret in there. And I really need help finding a new bed set. Do any of you have any ideas of where to look for bedding that isn't too expensive?
Thanks in advance for the help!!!

Well, I had my 34 week checkup, one more 2 week appt then I start to go weekly. yesterday's appt I got some news I wasn't really expecting. Natalie is measuring big, so next appt I will get an u/s to see how big and if too big, I won't get a chance for a VBAC and will have to be scheduled for a repeat c-sec. with JAcob I was pushing when his heartrate dropped so had to have a c-sec, it is disappointing that I might not get to try. because if we were to go for #3, and if you had 2 c-sec's that is your only option doc said we could get lucky and that she is laying funny and that is what is causing me to measure big, but I guess we just have to wait and see.

I am taking my new belly shot on Saturday, then I will have 2 so I will post them then, that way you can really see how big I am getting. I MADE IT PAST 12 WEEKS AND I AM ALMOST DONE WITH MY FIRST TRIMESTER!!!! Words cannot describe how happy I am. Morning sickness is down to about once a day (thank-GOD!). Other then that all is well will me and baby. I have not been posting much because day care has been really busy, and we are now officially in back to school season!!! Kailey is switching schools this year. We decided to take her out of the catholic school and send her to public school. She is very excited about the change, and so am I. We have been school clothes shopping for the very first time (she wore uniforms at Vitiation) and already have her school supplies bought. She starts school a week from Monday!! I am going to miss her so much. Linda, Jennifer, and Diane: I think I have already caught up with your posts on our other buddy groups...... so for now I will just say.... WooHoo I love the fact that we are all pregnant! Amanda, Kris, and Alisha: I have to get ready for the kids... we are going to have a ton of them here today, I will post more later. Just know that you are all constantly in my thoughts and I hope all is going prefectly for you! Jacque

My little sister just called and said that my older sister is in labor and going to have her baby tomorrow. She is only 33wk, 2d today. I am worried about her and the baby! They have her on magnesium sulfate to stop the labor so they could give the baby steriods for lung development. They gave her the first steriod shot yesterday at noon and are giving her the second one today at noon. Then if labor hasnt stopped by tomorrow at noon they are taking her off the mag. sulfate and letting her have the baby! I am so excited, but so scared at the same time! I hope everything ends up being okay with both of them!! I am so sad that I am not going to be there!
Just asking that you keep her and baby Amelia in your prayers!

Jennifer! I am so excited/nervous for your sister. I know everything is going to be just fine for her and for the baby. Remember, Meghan delivered Alex 10 weeks early and he is already at home and is doing GREAT!!!!! I will keep them in my prayers, that the delivery is easy on your sister and the baby and that they both get the care they need.... Now, does this sister live in Ohio? If so... you will be able to spend so much time with her and the new baby when you go out there while Quentin is doing his training (or whatever it was that he had to do!)

I just posted a big old message and the stupid thing is gone. Diane- I am hoping to lose 80 pounds on Nutrisystem. I hope I can do it. I love the shot of you and your son. I took a belly shot with Yesi hugging my tummy when I was pg with Abri at Sears and I gave it to my mom for Xmas, she bawled like a baby. It was so precious, and I still treasure that shot. Jacque- I am so happy for you that you've made it through your first trimester girl. Congrats! I am glad to hear that Kailey will be going to public ed. Of course I'm biased, but I think that all kids should have at least some of their education in public ed so that they aren't too sheltered and either fall in with the wrong crowd, or get the crap scared out of them when they go off to college and enter the real world. I don't think you will regret your decision. I'm sure the clothes that you will find will be so exciting for Kailey. Jennifer- Please don't worry about your sis and her baby too much. Just say a prayer and all will be okay. WHen I went into premature labor with Abri the second time at 32 1/2 weeks, they told me that she would be fine. Your sis and her baby will be too. I second Diane's advice on the bedding. When I was pg with Yesi I bought a set that was $135 and now it's pretty much toast. I take really good care of my stuff too, and it's still got missing tie downs, and the print is totally faded. Also, the bumper is all screwed up. The fact is, they get ruined pretty quickly b/c if your baby is anything like my two were/are, she will pee through her diaper at nights a couple of nights a week, and you'll be constantly washing the set. I change my baby's diapers often too btw. It's just a fact of life that some babies pee a lot at night. I would save the money for the decorations and just buy a couple of cheap sets for changing often. Kris, Linda and Amanda- I hope you are all well. Everything is great with us. The girls are thriving and learning to just adore each other. Abriyel laughs at Yesi all the time, and Yesi just thinks it is so funny. She thinks she's pretty hot stuff now, b/c she has such a big (or should I say little ) fan. I think they are just the most precious girls in the world. I am doing great with Nutrisystem. I've been on it a week now, and my stomach has finally shrunk enough that I'm feeling full after I eat the meals. I weigh tomorrow, so I'll let you all know how much I've lost next time I come on. Serge is getting a lot of work done on the house. We have to completely redo our bathroom b/c of pipe/water damage. I mean, completely! Even new subfloor. It sucks b/c we went to Home Depot on Wednesday night and bought the bathtub that we waited a week for and on the way home it fell out of the truck and shattered all over the highway. Thank God noone was behind us. We were so pissed b/c it was a $309 bathtub/shower combo and they didn't help us load it at all and gave us bailing twine to tie it down, which snapped. Serge complained like crazy to the store manager, and got half of the money back, but we were still pissed, and contacted the customer National number. Hopefully eventually we will get the ohter half back. I'm so mad at them b/c they should be careful that this doesn't happen to customers. They said it happens all the time, and I was like, "Well, did you ever think maybe you should stop handing out twine to tie it down, and suggest to customers that they buy tie downs?" We didn't know that this could happen, b/c the bathtub was so heavy we thought it would stay in the truck, but boy were we wrong. So, if any of you are going to buy a bathtub any time soon, I suggest having it delivered. It sucks paying the $59 to have it delivered, but it's better than having to buy two bathtubs, and then pay a delivery fee!!! Alisha
