Alisha: Ok, last night we are watching the news and they start talking about how in Oregon you are not allowed to pump your own gas... Mike said it was because you were all to stupid. LOL I know that is not the case, but why can't you pump your gas? Are you all just to damn lazy??? How are you feeling? I hope better, after all is is no fun house hunting if you are sick as a dog. Today is Thursday, so you are all going to look at your dream home again. I hope your mom gives it her thumbs up. I want to know more about it, explain the layout and all that jazz! --- Do not worry about the photos, I know you what mean about your older things being compatible with your new computer, we had the same issue about three years ago. You can just mail some to me when you mail me my Christmas card. -- So, 14 days until Thanksgiving and 46 days until Christmas... what will your plans be for the holiday season be? We were going to have 15 people over for Thanksgiving, but NO ONE can attend this year. I was really bummed out about it at first, but now I am happy it will just be Mike, Kailey and myself. That way I can take it easy on Thanksgiving day and hopefully have enough energy to go shopping the day after. --- Also, what will Santa be bringing your girls for Christmas this year? I wonder what Abri will think of the Christmas tree!!!! --- As for everyone being MIA, it sucks... but Kris just checked in, she posted on our other buddy group, and Amanda and I talk via email... so between them and the fact that our "regular" posters are all back it really is not that bad. Ok, I have one more thread to catch up on! Jacque

I almost forgot... send me an email awesomemommy@gmail.com and I will send you Emily's email address. I am not sure if she would want me to post it on this site, but I know she would be just fine with me emailing it to you!!! The thing is, by the time I post this I will completely forget to send it to you... so emailing me a friendly reminder (or even one telling me to pull my head out of my ass) would be great.... pregnancy brain is just awful!!!!

Kris, The craziest thing just happened...I was on Amazon.com looking for a new book to read about ghosts (I love ghost stories) and there was a review about the one I was going to buy, and the girl's name was Christina Kaplan!!! Freaky, huh? BTW, I visited Sara's website, and she is so stinkin' adorable! Alisha

Hi Illinoian snob, Okay, all joking aside...yes, I'm feeling better...thanks for asking. I'm still taking my antibiotics, but it's finally making a difference. As for the house, we actually decided to wait a little longer on it. The market's really slow here, and we need a bigger selection. So, we're gonna' wait until about April after all. We almost made an offer on the house we went to see for the first time, but upon second look, it was just too much of a fixer upper. It is a really cool house though with a lot of potential. The house is 2500 square feet with two stories. It has a 1400 square foot top story, and a 1100 square foot daylight basement. The basement is the best part. It is partly finished, and partly unfinished, with a cement floor...but the possibilities are endless. The only thing is, we have spent the last six years of our lives fixing up a fixer upper, and we just don't have it in us anymore. I mean, we do want a semi-fixer upper, b/c you save money that way, but we don't want a money pit. So, we are gonna' hold off a little bit longer after all. Christmas and Thanksgiving...well we are going to Tillamook, my hometown, for T"hanksgivingat my sister-in-law's house. We've decided to start having the holiday feasts at one of our houses each year, rather than always at mom's. This is a first, b/c for the last 30 years, it's been at mom's. It will be fun though. For Christmas, we're staying home the actual day. It's funny you asked about gifts, b/c I was just checking out ebay and toysrus.com for gift ideas about 30 minutes ago. We are going to get Yesi a new bicycle with training wheels, and a tv for her bedroom...and probably some little things, like some more color wonder materials...I love them! As for Abriyel...not quite sure yet. I didn't get that far in my search. It's hard to shop for her, b/c she already has so many things that her sister used before. I want her to have some of her own, new things though, but it's nice that they can share things. I'm sorry no one can come to your house for Thanksgiving, but it's probably for the best. YOu need to rest girl! You've only got 15 weeks left to sleep and relax up, b/c when your lil' man gets here...oh boy! So, are you getting Garret a gift for under the tree? HOw about Kailey, what will Santa be getting her this year? Alisha

I LOVE CHRISTMAS! I too spend a little time each day looking for gift ideas for Kailey. She is asking Santa for several things, but she really wants the Polly so Hip Cruise Ship. I also think Santa is going to bring her a microscope. As far as Garrett goes, he already has about 3 gifts that need to be wrapped, Kailey got him this really cool elephant and Mike and I got him two outfits. Those will go under the tree, along with a few gifts from Santa.... but we are going to wait until after the baby shower to tell Santa what Garrett wants.
Kailey just finished up the shower invites and we are going to start mailing them on Friday.... now we have a few Thanksgiving cards to send out... and then Christmas cards!!! She draws a picture in everything she sends out so it always takes SOOOO LONG for us to do our "mass mailings".
I am glad you are waiting until April, moving right now would be a pain... especially with the holidays right around the corner. The house does sound awesome though... I could just picture it.
Anyway... I am gonna get some cleaning done while all of the kids are sleeping!

Hello my dear, We think it's for the best to wait too. That's sweet that Garret is getting some presents. I'm having a hard time getting this message typed, b/c Abriyel and her daddy are playing, and Abri is doing her ADORABLE laugh. She does this little half laugh, half squeal thing. She copies her big sister, b/c that's how Yesi laughs when she gets excited. We just went out and had some YUMMY dinner...teriyaki chicken. Teriyaki is my favorite food in the world. Yesi loves the Polly stuff too. I love shopping for toys on Toysrus.com. I like the "search by age" feature. Christmas is my favorite time of the year as well. It's so nice having a 3 week vacation with my girls and my husband. We get a lot of hugs and kisses in. You're so funny thinkingthat I'm gonna' have anotherone. I really think we're done. Every day that goes by, I'm more sure. Two girls is a dream come true for me. They are just the best of friends, and seeing the amount that they love eachother does my heart good. I'm sure if we had another, it would be just as great, but I just love the way it is now. Since they are close in age, it just seems sooooooooooooo perfect! I'm excited for Kailey, b/c she's gonna' be such a great big sister. She's gonna' be such a big help for you. You're gonna' love that. Gotta' go, Alisha P.S. Have fun peeing 50 billion times today!

Alisha I AM SO TIRED!!! I went to bed last night at 6:30pm and slept until 6:30am. I was up from 9-9:30 because Garrett was moving so much, so I just sat up and watched him... but then went right back to sleep. I want to go to bed again! All of the kids are sleeping and I have Christmas music playing for them (I always play music for them while they sleep) and it is keeping everything in me not to lay down and cuddle with one of them. I only have 5.5 hours of work and then my weekend begins, then next week will be short (I took of Thursday and Friday) so I will be able to catch up on my rest. I bet it is hard shopping for Abri, especially with Yesi having so many toys too. I really like Little People, and so do my day care kids. They have this AWESOME princess house, you could get here that... and she could play with it for years. Big sissy would like it to. If Yesi likes Polly's you should check out Target... they always have "Target Exclusives" when it comes to Polly's, we always find some really cute holiday themed Polly things for Kailey there. Anyway.... I am going to try to find a pumpkin cheesecake recipe right now.... maybe the though of food will keep me awake. Jacque

Kristina's little girl is so cute, and West is too. I can't wait to brag like crazy when I upload my pics of my beauties on here, but it may ber awhile. Well, I need to go clean up my piggy house. Take care and have a great weekend...get some sleep! Alisha

Hi my dear, Yes, I got Emily's email. It was nice hearing from her. I need your address again, will you please send it to me via email? I want to send you updated photos, and a Christmas card. Thanksgiving is gonna' be a little rough this year, b/c Abri's ears are really bothering her. This is the third ear infection in the last couple of months. She's been on four different antibiotics, not to mention another one for the yeast infection she got from all of the antibiotics. This is the SAME EXACT PATH Yesi followed until she had her first ear tube surgery. Her Doctor said that she only had to try one more antibiotic and if it doesn't work, they won't put her through anymore. I wish they'd just let her get the tubes now...instead of having to have all of these stinking medicines. I wish I hadn't passed this terrible problem on to my little sweeties. It's really hard to watch your babies be in pain, especially when you can remember how bad it hurts. Anyways, I hope you have a great Thanksgiving...and just think, next time you celebrate Turkey day, you'll have a baby about the same age as Abriyel! When, exactly, is your due date? I know it's in February, but not the date. Alisha

Well, I am all about the drama today! Well ladies, As follows is an update that was sent out a few minutes ago to my day care parents. Just to catch you up on things.... I started having pain in my stomach region yesterday afternoon so I called the Dr's office. They said what I was describing sounded like it COULD be labor pains.... so I won myself a first class ticket to Trinity's Labor and Delivery ward in Moline. All is well, I just wanted to send you the same update I sent everyone else so I knew that we were all on the same page. ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Hello! It is now 2:13am so I felt it was best to send you an email as opposed to giving you a call..... needless to say I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that all is well. We left for Trinity shortly after Isabelle left here. When we got there they hooked me up to all kinds of monitors which told us that we were not in labor. As it turns out..... it was a combination of things - Dehydration, a pulled muscle, and gas pain. I knew it was not labor when I called the DR, but they were insistent on me coming in. I am thankful they did, but at the same time it would have saved a lot of heartache and worry if they told me to wait it out - but like they said, it is better to be safe then sorry. Doctors orders are for me to drink a gallon of water a day (like a pregnant woman doesn't pee enough already) and take it easy over the next few days. Day care will be open next week as usual, so I will plan on seeing your little one early next week. Happy Thanksgiving! Jacque

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
Hope it was a great day for all! Our frist Thanksgiving as just the 2 of us went pretty well. We got up early and went to KMart to get a Little Touch Leap Pad for Aryanna. Then I came home and got dinner started. And did some online shopping. I ended up getting a few people's Christmas done (my parents and 1 of my nieces). And I also bought some stuff for us, a camcorder and a USB drive for Quentin for work. We ended up eating around 2, while we watched football. Then we put our Christmas tree up. It looks so pretty! I will post pictures of it soon! After that, we went through all the ads and made our final game plan for tomorrow! We are going to be leaving the house by 4:30 and hoping to be home by 8:00 or 9:00. I am getting ready to go to bed now so I can be up early! Talk to you all tomorrow probably!!!
