Jacque-Please don't take what a 9 year old said to heart. Yes, it was hurtful, but please try to forget it. Maybe since you are friends with his mom you can mention it to her and see what she has to say-although you sound pretty upset so I would wait a couple of days until you've cooled off a bit. I'm sure you must have told Mike-what did he say? I'm sorry you are having a rough start to your day, hopefully it will get better!
We haven't done anything w/ the baby's room lately, mostly b/c I have been absolutely exhausted. This pregnancy is just draining me. Alex wants me to go off of work now, but I was really hoping on making it until May 12th. I'll get disability payments but they won't be as much as my regular paycheck (although they are pretty close), so I wanted as much money as possible before I went off, since I'll be off until mid September/early October. I researched nannies online and actually found a cool site that is sort of like a dating site where you put your profile in and nannies put their profile in and if you match then the site sends you an email and you can get in touch with that person. With my profile I matched with 8 nannies! I was surprised. It's free too. I didn't contact any of them yet b/c I won't need anyone for a few months-but I'm excited. It's going to cost an arm and a leg though. We talked about going other childcare routes (less expensive), but Alex can't guarantee that he would be able to pick up the kids by 6:00 (the cutoff for most daycare centers and in home daycare also), and since I'm a shift worker there's no way I would ever get off early. So I think we will definitely have to go with a nanny. I'm just trying to work out whether it would be better if I worked one or two shifts a week-less childcare=less money, although less work=less money too. I'll have to figure out which is the lesser of the less, LOL.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday!

Hi girls, I'm back. That is crazy about all the little Chatterbox girls, isn't it. Where in the world are Linda and Kristina? I hope they are well. Do any of you post on other boards with them?
Jacque- Thanks for fixing my account. No problem now, well that is if this posts correctly. ha ha! You're getting close to the big day...oh I hope this is it for you!!! I can't wait to hear. I'm SO sorry about what Caleb said to you. I have to say though for your sake that 9 year olds can be so insensitive without even meaning to. Remember that I teach them for a living. A little boy at my school (9 years old but not my student) called me fat when I was pregnant. He didn't seem to understand why that was insensitive. They are so inquisitive and blundt at the same time, and I'm sorry that he hurt your feelings. However, maybe in a couple of days you'll be able to say to him that you were pregnant after all.
Amanda- What a hassle that you have on deciding how much to work. I hope that you can figure it out. I remember going through that when deciding how much time to take off. I'm glad that I worked it out though, b/c this leave is awesome! As for the pumping, it is kind of tiring at times, but I have to do what's best for my girl if I can. You understand that b/c you tried your best the first time too, as I'm sure you will this time. I couldn't nurse her on the boob anymore, at least for awhile, so the pumping has helped. I offered her the breast last night though, and she took it. My nipples have had a rest (almost 2 weeks) so it didn't hurt at all. I'm going to try again today, b/c I would like to be able to nurse her during the day and maybe just pump once at night. We'll see.
Diane- You must be anxious to find out the sex of your child. You have one boy already right? It is so fun having two of the same gender, I just LOVE it. It would be fun for you to have a girl though too, they are FANTASTIC!
Linda & Kristina- I hope you are both well. We'd love to hear an update on the two of you.
As for me, everything is getting better day by day. The Fenugreek has kind of slowed down, so I'm upping the dose to 9 per day and my OB/GYN has prescribed Regalin for me (it's supposed to increase milk supply) . Have any of you ever tried Regalin before? I hope it doesn't make me jittery, b/c they said that can happen. Anyways, I'm gonna' give it a try and if I can't do it, well, I can't. At this point I'm pumping 4 ounces ever 4 hours. I was pumping ever 3 hours and getting 3 ounces, and I tried every 2 hours, and what do you know...2 ounces. It seems my body produces an ounce an hour. It is fine for now, but as Amanda pointed out, won't cut it in a couple of months. My goal is to provide milk as long as possible, but I'm doing the best I can and if it dries up, well, at least I know that Yesenia is okay and she only got breastmilk for 2 weeks. Abri has already had it for a month. CAN YOU BELIEVE MY BABY IS A MONTH OLD ALREADY? I can't believe it. Well, gotta' go the baby's crying. MY GOAL IS TO TRY AND GET A PICTURE POSTED THIS WEEK. I will try my best b/c I know you girls are anxious to see my little angels. Take care, Alisha

Hi girls, I just saw your post Alisha and wanted to tell you a bit about Reglan. Using it for increasing milk supply is an off label use for it. It's primary use is for GI motility (getting your gut to work better). So it can cause diarrhea (big time). I took it and wasn't told any of the other side effects until after I had been on it for a while (I was bad and didn't do my research). Anyway in some people it can cause psychological side effects such as depression (mild), or psychosis and suicidal thoughts (severe). So just be careful and stop taking it immediately if you start feeling depressed. It also causes fatigue, and the more you take, the more tired you get. I took it for about 2 months and it slightly increased my supply-but not enough for me to warrant taking it with those side effects (in my opinion). I had horrific psychotic nightmares while I was taking it too-I didn't put it together until after Abbie's gastrointestinal Dr. mentioned the side effects to me (and he wasn't the one who prescribed it). So just be careful and if you start to have any weird symptoms I would stop taking it. My girlfriend also took it and said that it also slightly increased her supply, but the fatigue it caused wasn't worth it to her to take it. So I hope it increases your supply tenfold (well maybe not THAT much, LOL) and you don't have any side effects from it.
PS-Do you smell like maple syrup yet from the fenugreek? LOL What we go through for our babies!

JAcque - sorry that your friend's son was rude to you. I agree he had to hear that from someone else. I think I would have a talk with her because why does she think you would be mad at her.
