Alisha - I'm doing pretty good. I'm kind of leaning towards wanting a girl, then we'd have one of each and it's a scary thought to be a mom of boys, but another boy would be just find for me.

Linda: It would be AWESOME if you had a girl!!! One of each, so..... would you stop then or would you keep trying for more?

I don't know, stopping would be very tempting, but I may get that itch some years down the road, I won't do anything drastic until we are sure. I'm going to give myself until I'm like 35 to decide.

Linda: That sounds like a plan. Who knows, you might end up wanting two or three more. Anymore you could really go past 35, there are tons of women having babies later in life. 100's of years from now people might still be having babies in their 80's...lol Jacque

Hi girls! Well just a quick note before we leave for Palm Springs. I am an idiot and scheduled myself to work tomorrow so we are leaving after I get off tomorrow night. Well I payed dearly for my easy day at work last week-yesterday was horrendous and I didn't eat lunch until 4pm. Today I'm sore from being on my feet for so long yesterday. Today Abbie had a field trip that was fun but it was almost an hour away from home so that tired me out too-driving back and forth and then trying to keep up with her at the children's museum. I can't wait to have my energy back (and my body!!!).
Jacque-Hush your mouth! People having babies in their eighties-it's just wrong!!!!
Linda-I hope you get your wish, one of each. Only a few more weeks until the 'big' ultrasound!
Alisha-Is Abri settling into somewhat of a routine? Even if it's a crazy schedule I think it's nice to at least know that you'll be awake from 3 to 5 in the morning or whatever.
I hope everyone else is well.

Hi girls,] UGH, GROSS, CACA, DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 80 YEAR OLD BREASTFEEDING BREASTS IS BEYOND SICKENING! Amanda- I'm sorry about your pain. Iknow that I suffered with that for a few months with both pg. Be careful, as it is easy to overly stress your muscles. Luckily it is safe to take pain killers in the third trimester, b/c I needed them for a couple of days and my ob was kind enough to give them to me. No, Abri isn't settling into a schedule yet. Hopefully soon. Although, she does at least usually breastfeed once every 2 1/2 hours. At least I can usually depend on that. Jacque- Thanks so much for the gifts. You are SUCH AN AMAZINGLY SWEET PERSON! I can't believe you did that.
Sorry, I gotta' go. Abri just woke up for her feeding.
I'll be back. Love, Alsiha

Ok take two... I have already typed this once, but for some reason it did not post. So, now on to my Vacation Story. I am going to post it over a few different posts so this time I do not lose it.
Friday: We woke up at about 7am, and then ran a few errands before leaving town. We went to the Bank, Post Office, Dropped off the Dog at the vet, and then went to Walgreen's to drop off Mike's prescription for his blood pressure medication. While we were waiting for the Prescription to be filled we went to Windmont Park to eat some McDonald's for breakfast. It was awesome outside, the perfect temp it felt just like late spring.
We pick up his medicine on the way out of town, then about an hour down the road we realized that he had the wrong medication. Well, it was the correct pills, but the wrong dosage, it was not near strong enough. So when we got to Morris to eat with Mike's parents (at Dairy Queen, very yummy) we picked up Uncle Donnie and then went to their Walgreen's.
It turned out that the pharmacist at our Walgreen's gave him the correct prescription, he followed what the Dr wrote out... but the Dr wrote it out for the wrong amount. The Dr was out, so he just had to deal with it for a few days. The Pharmacist assured us it would be OK... but I was like OK whatever this is his heart we are talking about, isn't there anything more we can do???
Mike was more then ok with it, so we continued to Chicago. About an hour later we arrived, but had no clue what to do first. So we went to Navy Pier. It was so nice, very windy, but nice outside. We walked along the pier, and then went to the Build a Bear, Kailey made a rabbit and I made a bunny. They are soooo cute. I will post photos later.
Then we went out to one of our favorite pizza places, Ledo's in Lagrange. We go there every time we are in the area, I just love it so much!
After dinner we checked into the hotel, Uncle Donnie took a nap and Mike, Kailey and I went swimming. It was great but the water was cold so after an hour we decided to get out of the pool and get some ice cream. We went to the Stone Cold Creamery....http://www.coldstonecreamery.com/main/index.asp It was beyond awesome, homemade ice cream, great toppings... if you are every around one I highly recommend going!
After that we went back to the Holiday Inn and went to bed.
Ok... gonna post this, check on the kids, and then I will be back for the rest.....

So Saturday Morning we get up and go to the Breakfast Buffet, it was yummy. And then headed to the Museum of Science and Industry. We got there shortly after they opened, so we were able to see all of our favorites and a few new displays too.I love science, and I think that looking at the human body and learning about how it works is just fascinating. They had this display of slices of a human, the slices were vertical and some horizontal, it was done so you could see all of the piece and where they are in conjunction to one another. It was fascinating. Kailey and I could have looked at it forever, Mike and Donnie thought it was pretty cool also. We also saw the babies, I do not want to get in the whole moral vrs Science debate, but they have babies on display at the different levels of gestation. Mike hates it, I love science so I wanted to look at it. Kailey thought it was cool, but we did not tell her that they were real babies. I can only look at them up until about the 30 week mark, then I have to stop...... it gets to hard then. It is kind of like a double edged sword. I love it from the science aspect, but then my "mom" senses kick in and it just breaks my heart.
Anyway, they also had a new display of about 100 video games that you could PLAY! They had the original version of Pong, the old Atari's, Cleico Vision, you name it... it was there. I was able to play PitFall and Asteroids... old games I have not played since I was a kid. It was so much fun.
On our way out Kailey got some Astronaut food to share with her class, a mood ring, some post cards, and a bracelet. She just LOVES the mood ring, she always say what mood the ring shows her being it. It is so cute.
After the museum of Science and Industry we went to this little family owned Italian restaurant, it is called Via Bella. It was the most AMAZING RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! It was like walking into a little Italian home and having someone's grand mother cook for you. It was great and I highly recommend it. I wish they were everywhere so you could all give it a try... but here is the website, maybe Diane and Linda could actually eat there, they are Illinois ladies like myself. We went there with Uncle Donnie and my friend Bridget and her family... we had so much fun. www.liketosave.com/viabella/
After dinner we walked over to this little Chocolate store. It was like walking into the candy store that was in the first Willy Wonka movie. It was sooooo awesome. We bought $40.00 worth of candy, it was a good price for being home made. www.rmcf.com/IL/LaGrange50578/ Here is the website for that place too.... sooooooo awesome, check it out, and if you can order online, DO SO!!!
Then we went to Cold Stone again and had icecream...... back to the hotel to watch a movie and go to sleep.
Ok, be back in a few.
Jacque
Ps: Yes, we ate out alot.... I gained 3 pounds on the trip... but I am not concerned, it was well worth it!

Before I get on to Sunday and Monday I have to tell you something sooo funny. While I was at the Museum of S & I .... I had to go pee, and since it is OPK time I had one with me. So there I was sitting in the stall waiting for the test to complete. And I had to think to myself that I was certifiably insane... Think about it... how many people can say that they took an OPK at the M of S & I? Then I had to laugh out loud, because I bet I am not the first and not the last because there are so many of us out there TTC!!!!
Sunday was a simple day we got up and checked out, then headed to Joliet. We went to Cracker Barrel and then started shopping. Mike got a couple pairs of Shoes from foot locker, I got some flip flops from target and Kailey got 2 skirts, some workout pants, and 3 shirts from old navy.
Then we went to Coal City to visit Mike's parents and see their new house... this is no longer exciting because then move all of the time. They have rented four houses in the last two years..... all in the same town.
We then dropped off Uncle Donnie in Morris and headed home. We did not get to bed until after 10pm, so we let Kailey sleep in.
Around 10 on Monday we brought her into school and then went back at about 11:30 to eat lunch with her class. Then we had to film Mike's speech for one of his classes..... by the time we got that done and it was time to get Kailey from school, go to the post office to mail the speech, run to WalMart to get some things... and then we were hurrying home to drop the groceries off so we could head out to tumbling.
BUT EVERYTHING CAME TO A SCREECHING HALT AS SOON AS WE GOT HOME FROM THE STORE!!! OUR OUTDOOR CAT HAD KITTENS!!!! We did not know she was pregnant, and our vet (one of my best friends) even said she just looked big, not pregnant. It was a small litter, only 3... but one of them did not make it. So now we have two babies in the house. I am so excited!!!
We got them situated, and then went to tumbling... while we were there Kailey lost another tooth! WooHoo, since she lost it at tumbling she got a tooth necklace... how cute is that? Then we went back to the store, bought some kitty supplies and brought the mommy kitty and the kittens back into the house. They are all doing well... and they are so cute. I will post photos of them when I can get some good ones. Right now all they do is eat and sleep.
Also.... while we were gone our new family photos came in! They look good, I look like an ass, but I always do in my photos....
Ok, I think that is it. I am going to post this then start on personals..... that will take awhile, I have alot of catching up to do!

Good Morning! We got back from Palm Springs last night. We had a really fantastic time. The weather was perfect (85 degrees and sunny). We did a lot of fun things but mostly just relaxed and enjoyed each other's company. I don't have a whole lot of stamina so we just sort of took it easy. I missed Abbie terribly and it seems like she grew up so much in just 4 days. I think she wore my mom out though. My mom looked REALLY tired when they dropped Abbie off last night. It didn't help that it rained here the whole time and they weren't able to get Abbie outside to burn off some energy. Plus I think they made it harder on themselves by not giving her naps. If she doesn't have a nap she gets really unruly in the evenings.
Jacque-It sounds as though you guys had a great time too. We have a Coldstone Creamery here and it is pretty fantastic. With Abbie I had ice cream everyday (after the m/s was gone). With this baby I don't crave ice cream at all-I think I've eaten ice cream like 3 times. This baby likes salad. It's so funny how each pregnancy is so different.
Alisha-I hope that you are getting some rest even though Abri hasn't settled into a routine yet.
Linda- I always say you're not done having babies until you've done something permanent about it. There's always that chance-even with birth control.
Kristina-where are you? Taking it easy I hope!
Love and sticky babydust! Amanda

Jacque-As of my last appt (2 weeks ago) I had gained 21 lbs from my prepregnancy weight. I was trying to keep my weight gain to 30 lbs (that's how much I gained w/Abbie), but since I still have 10 wks to go I don't know that that will be possible. I was way heavier starting out with this one than with Abbie though so I am already heavier than my delivery weight with Abbie. I was probably too thin when I got pg with Abbie though-when you don't have kids it's easy to be able to go to yoga 5 days a week like I did back then. Nothing like 90 minutes of hot yoga to peel off the lbs!!!
