Alisha: WOOHOO Your Lex Luther resigned! That is so awesome, you know I always refer to my arch nemesis as Lex Luther because that make me Super (wo)Man!!! --- NO FRUIT! That is great, no need to stock up on bananas or cucumbers, huh? Do you still have sex? With Kailey we had sex once in a great while, but the bigger my tummy got the less I wanted it. Mike also said he felt like he was poking Kailey in the head. lol --- How awesome is it that you were able to properly able to thank that nurse. She sounds so unbelievably sweet, you were very lucky to have here. Isn't it amazing how you both left such an impact on each other's life? --- Your take home outfits sound perfect! I cannot wait to see going home photos!!!
Kristina: Do you have anymore news for us? I hope all is going well and you got that polyp taken care of.
Amanda: How are you doing? How is the baby's room coming along? Is Abbie excited about the baby being a girl?
Diane: Just think, you are a few months away from finding out the baby's gender! You are going to find out... right?
Ok... I am going to get some water... I am so thirsty!
Talk to you soon!
Jacque

Hey girls, Jacque-You are hilarious! Yes, I'm very excited about my Lex Luther resigning! She was a thorn in everyone's side at work. It's like a black cloud has been lifted from above our school and everyone is walking a little lighter! Yeah, you know about my sex life from the other boards...about once a week if he's lucky. I'm just not in the mood, but last time I started having sex like crazy towards the end to try and start labor naturally. I'll probably start doing that at about 37 weeks...Hee Hee! Amanda-I'm curious to know if you told your little girl about the new little girl on the way. She will probably be so excited. Mine is confused...she says I'm waiting for two babies! Also, she says she's having a baby brother and he is going to be a girl...SCARY! Kristina-I hope you update us soon about the polyp. How's everything else going? Are you having mood swings? Diane-Wow, our kids are very close in age. My little girl just turned 3 on January 22nd. So, are you hoping for a little girl this time, or would you like another boy? You're probably like me and don't care either way, right? Well, I went in to be evaluated by my Doctor on Thursday, b/c they told me I needed to and all is well. They said I'm just one of those unlucky women that have way more contractions than normal pre-birth. Two crappy things happened. First of all, my Doctor is no longer my Doctor. She went on medical leave b/c she's due to have her baby in April!!! I was COMPLETELY shocked b/c I didn't even know she was pregnant. She looked sooooooooooooooooo skinny...maybe that's why they put her on medical leave. I'm happy for her, but also a little sad b/c I was looking forward to having someone that I liked deliver my baby. Well, hopefully one of the other Doctors will be nice??? Second of all, I'm not going to find out the date for the c-section now until the 23rd of February, b/c I had to reschedule an appt. with another Doctor, and the earliest they could get me in was the 23rd...SUCKY huh? Take care all, Alisha

Happy birthday Amanda! How old are you? Hey, are you wearing maternity clothes now?
I just finished my taxes, YEAH! I used Turbo tax last year and this year, and I just love it! It sucks though, b/c this is the first time we've ever ended up owing taxes. SUCKY!!! The really trippy thing is that between state and federal taxes, we ended up owing 2005 dollars. Isn't that so weird? $2005 for year 2005. Trippy! It sucks bad, especially when it will be due right in the middle of my maternity leave...oh well. We'll be alright, just won't be able to go hog wild on shopping that month. There have been worse things that have happened in this world. I was actually expecting to owe more than that, so believe it or not, it's kind of a blessing. Take care all, and I wish you all better luck with your taxes. Alisha

Alisha - our little ones are close in age! Like you I don't care what we have as long as this one is healthy! Part of me wants another boy becaues it would be easier we have all the boy stuff we need, but having a little girl would be great and something new.
That stinks that your doc is no longer your doc! Hope you like the new doc. Your next appt is close to mine , my next one is on the 24th!

Good morning ladies! My birthday was nice, low key. It is also my mom's birthday so my dad always cooks a big birthday dinner for us. Alisha-I'm 28 (wow, getting close to that 30 mark!). I have been in maternity clothes since 14 weeks!!! This is totally different from my 1st pregnancy where I started wearing maternity clothes at about 22 weeks. The sad thing is that a girl at work is pg also and due the end of March-and we are the same size, belly-wise, but I'm not due until June! Everyone keeps telling me that you get bigger faster with a second pregnancy-but I'm scared that I'm going to have a giant baby. That stinks that you owe taxes. We always have someone do them for us and so far we haven't owed the last 5-6 years, but last year she said if we earned $10 more for 2005 than 2004 we would be bumped up into the next tax bracket and probably owe if we didn't get some good deductions in, so I'm a little scared.
Jacque-I haven't done anything else with the nursery, except plan in my head. I did buy a few sunsuits over the weekend because Kohl's had 50% off of all their Carter's stuff. My mom also bought some pajamas and blankets. I don't know why she keeps buying blankets-first of all I have tons from Abbie, and second, I don't think I'll be using a whole lot of blankets in June! But she is very excited and can't help herself.
I hope everyone else is well. Talk to you soon. Love and sticky babydust! Amanda

I'm here... but I am so sick that I actually called off work. I have not called off work due to illness in over two years. I have to get Kailey from school in about 30 minutes and it is taking everything in me to stay awake. I think I have a cross between a cold and the flu. I was hoping to spend the majority of the day today working on taxes... no such luck. Well, I am going to go back and catch up on what I missed..... so, if I am not back in a few that means I am yacking again.... Jacque

Good morning! Jacque-I hope you are feeling better, thank you so much for the Happy Birthday message on the home page, that was so sweet. I haven't been posting on our other board since it was just you, me and Kristina, and now we're all over here. I'm a little worried about Kristina since she hasn't posted since her cervical polyp thing, I hope everything is okay with her.
Diane-UGGHH! Taxes! That's why we pay someone to do ours, it's so much easier and so much less hassle-you just throw them the pile of papers you've accumulated over the past year and they have to sort it all out! How are you feeling, any morning sickness?
Alisha-have you been keeping hydrated? Any more contractions? That sucks that your Dr. had to go out at the end of your pregnancy, but shouldn't she have told you that she was pg too and that she may not be around when you deliver? It seems like common courtesy, especially since it would have given you time to find someone else if you chose to.
Kristina-I hope you are okay, I've been thinking about you, let us know what's going on!
So I had a Dr's appointment today, baby looks fine, with a good strong HB. I am so very annoyed with the scheduler people at her office though. She says she needs to see me in 4 weeks, so they give me an appt in 6 weeks. I say that's not acceptable, I need to be seen in 4 weeks. Well she's all booked up until then they say, I say "She told you it was ok to overbook if necessary-so overbook her." Well on and on this goes until they tell me the computer program they are using to do the scheduling won't let them overbook her anymore for the week I need to go in. ARRGGGHHH!!! So they make me an appt with a resident who will be overseen by my Dr, so she'll be there while the dockling uses me to practice. Whatever-sorry for the vent. I hope everyone is well!
Love and sticky babydust! Amanda

Hi girls, Amanda-That's hilarious that your mom keeps buying baby blankets. my mom is like that too. How funny about the maternity clothes...don't feel bad...I started having to wear them at around that time too. It is true about the second time around. I think you probably look adorable though, b/c you're so tiny. I look like a beached whale! Oh well, at least it will go away in a few weeks...well partially. I turned 29 this year and will be 30 on July 7th this year. My mom is throwing me a HUGE party. She lives on some AWESOME property that belongs to my step-dad's family. It has three landings...bottom one is a big swim hole with rapids to raft down if you want (on a river), middle on is a really big campground with volleyball net and fire pits, and the top one is my mom's house. It's just BEAUTIFUL. I can't wait for the party as all my friends and family will be there...including my new little one (who will probably be being watched by papa while mommy gets SMASHED!) Sorry about the appointment that will be late. Doesn't that just SUCK! And yeah, I was a little miffed with my Doctor for not telling me she was pg. She probably thought people could tell, but NO WAY! She was tiny!

HI again, Sorry, my cpu was acting up.
Diane and Amanda-The contractions have let up a lot! I'm keeping hydrated and feeling much better. I think I was just psyching myself out from worry. I'm just going to be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy when the next three weeks are over. I only have to work for three more weeks! Jacque-I'm so impressed by your weight loss. Good for you. Sorry you were sick. It sounds stupid, but whenever I get the flu when I'm trying to lose weight I tell myself..."Oh well if I yack, I guess that's another pound or so down the drain." I do feel for you sweety. Sorry for being obnoxious and making jokes. I'm getting fisty in my last days of pg. Woohoo for Jacque being in the two week wait. (probably today?) I haven't checked your ticker, but usually this is o day for you. I hope you took after your good cpu friend Alisha and Bd'd even through the puking. I think it's a fertility booster.
Kristina-Girl, you need to come back and tell us you're okay. I'm so worried about you. I will be praying for you tonight hon. I hope all is well and you've just been recovering for a few days. Please let us know as soon as possible that you're okay. Alisha

Hi Girls!!!! Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. Well my doctor has put me on moderate bed rest because my cervix is measuring 2.5 and is considered short. This Thursday will be 2 wks I've been out of work already and I'm going :Crazy and don't know what to do anymore. My doc has put me out until I deliver this baby so that means another 4 months at home. What does a women do on bed rest? ? I've been seen by a specialist and the baby is fine thank god it's just my cervix that is giving me a problem. There not that concerned about the polyp as much as the cervix size so I haven't bleed in 2 wks so that is a good thing. I'm happy to hear that everybody is doing great and Alisha your contractions are easing up. I can't believe you will see your baby soon I can't wait to see my baby too. This baby is so active especially after dinner she moves like crazy. She has been low for a couple of days now and she feels like she is kicking my lower and it's so annoying. Oh well I guess that is what motherhood is all about! I have doc on Feb 14, Feb 15 so hopyfully my cerivix is still measuring 2.7 not shorter. Kristina K

Amanda: I love Carter's brand clothing for kids! That is awesome that you were able to find such a great sale. --- I hope all goes well with the dockling. lol I never heard that term before and I about fell off my chair laughing when I read it. Kristina: I am glad you are doing OK. Bedrest has to be awful. My friend dawn has been on bedrest now for about 6 weeks... she is about 36 weeks pregnant now. She has hardly gained any weight, but she is board out of her mind. The moved the computer so she could hand out online while she was in bed. I hope things get better for you. I miss you! Diane: Are you sure you wanna find out the gender, maybe you should join team green... Alisha: Hello! Isn't time for you to have that baby yet... lol, have you reached the point in your pregnancy when it seems like EVERYONE is saying that to you? -- I am still not feeling 100%... but we are still babydancing... woohoo this is the month, I know it. I am so excited, I cannot explain it.. it just "know" that I am pregnant. Ok preggos... I am going to catch up on the rest of my buddy groups! Jacque
