Good morning everybody! Mandi - Cute pictures! It looks like you guys have a lot of fun. I'm jealous. Has Matt heard anything about a new position or any positive decisions on the unit? Karina - OMG!!!! You look wonderful! I can't believe it can be any day for you now. Just make sure you have everything you need (your bag, your car seat, etc). Are you scared? How is dh doing? Is he getting nervous? We were fine until we knew for sure I was in labor and then we both freaked. Angela - THAT'S SO AWESOME!!!! I am so excited for you! I can't believe you're already over 5 weeks. Holy cow! Do you get an u/s on Monday to check for the ? Are you and dh getting excited yet or still being cautiously optimistic? I was optimistic but Nate got excited right away this time.

Hey girls Melissa ~ Thanks for the compliments hun. Nah Matt hasnt' heard anything yet. We are just taking a step at a time. We know for definite that he has at least 5 more weeks work and his best mate (the 1 who asked him to move up here) promised Matt that he wouldn't leave him on the streets so we feel a tiny bit better, but still.... we can't really "relax" as we still don't know what is going on with his work Wahoo it's Thursday!!!! Almost the weekend!! I'm going to my first ever wedding next Friday. I'm very very excited. OMG what am I going to wear!?!?!?!?!??!

Hi everyone, Everything looked good at the u/s on Tuesday, but they didn't check my blood pressure or do an internal exam--that will happen tomorrow. They estimated her at about 6 lbs 11 oz, totally normal size. We couldn't see her face since it was facing my back, though. I just can't wait to see what she looks like! Anyway, we are close to ready--car seat is in now, and my bag is about halfway packed. My mom flies in next Wednesday, so I'm hoping I make it that far--we'll see what the dr. says tomorrow! I do think my bp has been getting worse, and I'm starting to get headaches, so I'm a little nervous about that. Really hoping I don't end up with preeclampsia.
Anyway, Mandi, I love your new pic with Matt--it's really sweet how he's looking at you. Is he going to start looking for a job soon, or after his other one ends? Have fun at the wedding!
Angela, great news about the beta--will they do an u/s? It might still be a little early to see the heartbeat, but I think you probably would. Good luck!
Melissa, how are you feeling? Anything new with you? Feel the baby yet?

Mandi - My first wedding I didn't know what to do at all. It was my brothers. We asked his wife what we (my sister and I) should wear and she said anything we wanted so we showed up in shorts and our flannel shirts (grunge days). Man, looking back at the pictures I am so embarrased. I told my sil that I would have killed us if I were her. She just laughs. Goo thing she knew what we were like! Karina - I can't believe how close you are! OMG! I am in complete amazement! I would check your bp every chance you can if you're getting headaches. I would also put a call in to your dr. just so they can monitor you if they want to. How did your exams go? I'm feeling the ocassional flutter but nothing regular yet. In fact it's so infrequent that I'm not always positive it's the baby just yet. BUT, I am feeling when it's right next to my stomach (you know that hard kinda 'weird' feeling you get). Nate felt it that way today too. He said 'its really hard there' and right at that time it moved. So, he was excited too. Angela - How are you doing honey? It's been dead around here for a while but I think of you everyday! I am so happy you got your !

hey girls!!! Thanks for the compliments Karina, you're such a sweetie Well we still have no idea what is going on with Matt's work. We haven't actually sat down & talked about it yet. Maybe this weekend but we know that he definitely has work for at least another 5 weeks or so. Thank goodness!! Melissa!!! OMG!! A flanno t-shirt!!! HA HA !!! Sorry hun.. couldn't help myself but to have a bit of a giggle. That's way too funny!! I'm going to be trying on this dress of my sister's tonight and if it fits then that's what I'll be wearing. I did buy this gorgeous new top yesterday which ties up around the neck and back. It was funny because when the girl sold it to me she goes "Would you like to purchase a stick-on bra?" and I went "NOPE! I DON'T NEED IT NO MORE!!" HA HA HA Man it felt good to say that!!! he he he Ang ~ how are you going sweetie? Well you will be pleased to know that I just rang the hospital to see what the hell is going on with my operation date. No-one was there to answer my call so I left a message. It won't be until Monday that they will call me back anyway. Oh well I got the ball rolling!!! Yes I have been naughty & putting this big op off for a few months now plus with my boob job it took my mind off things (which was the plan!!!) But.... This op has to be done. I would like to get back into TTC again. Maybe not so straight away but later on in the year would be nice. I can't believe it's been 2 years in September!!!! We are still TTC, I'm not on the pill and we're not using protection so yeh... Anyway girls hope you all have a fantastic weekend I was just thinking of how wonderful it is that we are all still in touch after everything we've all been through. I think it's fantastic. I LOVE YOU GIRLS!!! (((((hugs))))) Just wanted to add in... Karina I hope you don't go into labour while I'm away on the weekend! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hold that bubba in!!!!

Hi girlies!! Everything here is fine. I don't know if they are going to do an ultrasound on Monday or not. DH wants me to call and request one (he is more paranoid than I am!!). I will just wait to see what happens. I am so anxious to be out of my first trimester! I will feel better about this pg once I pass that mark. We have just told family and a few friends. I told my best friend and she confessed that she is 10 wks pg and was going to wait a few more weeks before telling anyone! It's exciting for my friend to be preg, but it just makes me want this one to stick so much more! I feel pretty good. The only symptoms I have are tiredness, sore boobs and occasional dizziness. My mom didnt have morning sickness so I hope that I dont have it either. I have been having like some pinching/pulling in my lower abdomen on the right side, I think I had it last time too. Last time the dr said it was just my uterus growing, but I can't help but worry!!! Just have to keep reminding myself to take it one day at a time! Mandi- Would you mind having to move? My DH would love it if we moved every year or two, but I like staying in one place! Karina-I really can not believe it's about time to deliver!!! Has the time flown by to you? Melissa-Do you feel better about this pg now that you are further along? That's about it for now! I had booked plane tickets to fly to Arizona with my mom April 4-7, it should be ok for me to fly then right? I am going to ask the dr. Mon, just wanted to see what you girls thought!!!! I hope you all have a great weekend!!!!!!!

Hey Ang!! Great to hear from you hun! Yeh I wouldn't mind moving at all. I'm actually keen to move whereas Matt doesn't. The view we have from our unit is absolutely gorgeous and the unit is worth quite a bit already so I know Matt doesn't want to move but if the issue ever came up I would be there with cow bells on!
By the way I'm not sure what the GO is with flying when you are PG but I saw Katie Holmes & Tom Cruise flew to Australia on the weekend for Kerry Packer's funeral so I'm guessing it's ok???

Hi everyone, still studying for my comps here...they are Monday and Tuesday, and I can't tell you what a relief it will be to have those tests over! I'm just memorizing, memorizing right now. Anyway, not much else going on. I'm excited about my appt. tomorrow morning. My braxton hicks contractions are getting worse at night, so I'm hoping that means I'll be more dialated--less to go during delivery, right? Melissa, I'm sure you're feeling baby--they say it gets earlier with 2nd + pregnancies, since you know what you're feeling and the uterus is more stretched out. That's neat, the kicks are something I'll miss about pregnancy once it's over. Still, I'm ready for it to be over! Mandi, good to hear you called about your operation--let us know if you get a date set! Hopefully you will not have to wait that long. I know when you're TTC, every month that AF comes and goes, it feels like a wasted opportunity. Still, I'm so glad they have a problem to work on. My mom thinks that's why she tried for 6 years to get pg. They removed one of her overies that had a tumor on it and discovered a lot of endo, which they cleaned out. She was pg with me 2 months later. Plus, endo can really mess up your system as far as sex and AF go--making both really painful. I think this operation will be a great thing! Angela, I'm glad you have an appt on Monday. I would think they'll do an u/s, because why else would you go this early? They can't hear the heartbeat this early. I hope for your sake they do one--it really eased my mind to see the heart beating. Try not to worry about the pulling feeling if you can help it. I had cramps exactly like AF for a full 12 weeks, but you never reallly get used to it. I also spotted occasionally, and that really wasn't fun. Don't worry at all about flying--if it's a long flight, you should probably get up once or twice, but it will be fine. I even flew home this Christmas at seven months, no big deal except for some minor foot swelling. The airlines only care if you're close to 9 months. No evidence that flying can lead to miscarriage. Good luck at the appt! Talk to you all later!
