Hey Angela! Spewing that your post got lost. Grrrr I hate that too!
Great news about DH's SA. Awesome! Hmmm not sure about the antiobiodics thing though. I'm sure it won't affected too much. Some ladies only take 4 days worth or even 6 days of clomid! Everyone is different I guess

Angela, I've heard of antibiotics messing with birth control pills, but never that they prevent pregnancy. In fact, one of my friends got pg the week she took antibiotics and bc. So, I wouldn't think they would have a negative effect. Good luck on the CL!
Melissa, sorry you're feeling so bad right now! Hopefully you will feel back to normal very soon. I think the 1st trimester ends at 14 weeks, right? Most of the time, women start to feel better right away. Hopefully the time will go fast for you!
Mandi, I didn't know you've lost 100 pounds! That's unbelievable! How did you do it? I'm so proud of you! :-)

Thank you Karina!!!
Wow is 45kg 100 pounds over there? OMG!
It was when I was with my 1st boyfriend and I smoked a lot of pot and then got the munchies and would eat take-away food every single day and NO exercise, so you could imagine all the weight piling up. I remember I got to a size 18/20!!! Now I'm about 61kg and a size 10/12 and haven't looked back in 4 years now. I feel so good, I actually like telling people about my success stories. It gives other people hope

That's really great, Mandi! I agree that fast food can get you--I had a roommate in college who ate it 3 times a day and gained probably 80 pounds that year. I think she was really depressed since she ended up dropping all of her classes both semesters. I've always been a little overweight, and when I started TTC, they figured out I have PCOS (not hard since I don't get periods). After putting me on Metformin, which regulates your insulin and metabolism, I dropped about 20 pounds in 2 months and was only 7 pounds away from my target weight when I got pg. I think that going off of it during pregnancy has affected my weight gain (already close to 45 lbs). Oh well, I plan on going back on it as soon as I stop breastfeeding. BTW, If you ever want to find out conversions, just type "metric conversions" into Google. Hope the rest of you are doing alright! Angela, did you find out about another dr?

Hey Karina! Thanks for your message hun! I know! I remember when I first met you on FF that you had already lost quite a bit of weight and then you fell PG! I know that if you breast feed you can lose that weight rather quickly, but just remember that breast feeding isn't for everyone. I know so many girls who go to breast feed but then stop because it's too painful or they can't do it, but hey... I'm sure your PG weight will just drop off like flies after you give birth. You know you have lost the weight & you know that you can do it again! It's just mind over matter. Just set your mind to it and anything is possible Hi Angela and Melissa!!!! *waves*

Hey girls! How is everybody doing? I'm doing good today. I have to apologize for my vent the other day. Somedays are just a lot harder on me than others. Mandi - Wow, I can't believe you've lost that much weight! That's wonderful! Congratulations! I'll be thinking of you on the 9th. That's my sisters birthday, so I'll be sure to think of you too. Angela - I had a UTI when I was ttc and they put me on antibiotics and I went to www.safefetus.com and didn't see anything that would interfere with the baby making process. I did ask my np at work also and she said there shouldn't be a problem. Karina - How is the studying going? Hey, we haven't seen any belly pics in a LONG time. You'll have to give us an update. I can't believe you're just a couple weeks away. Did I tell you that I delivered at 36 weeks with Hunter? How have the bh been for you? Hunter is so darn cute! I'm home with him today because I just wanted to take a vacation day. So, we're watching cartoons and he just told me he wanted to watch a different cartoon than what we were watching so I flipped through and saw Rolly Polly Olie and asked if he wanted to watch that or Dora and he said 'Polly Polly Polly'. :-) He also called me the other day and sang 'happy irthday mommy'. It was adorable. It made me cry. I can't believe how big he's getting. It amazes me every day. Today he is 3 1/2. Wow!

I know, I know, I'm so bad about posting pics! I honestly haven't been on our desktop computer in at least a month. Jeremy will take my 34 week pic tomorrow, so I'll really try to get something to you ladies soon! I'm just losing my mind right now--can't remember anything unless it's a big deadline. But, this has been a great week for me...my readings are almost done which means I can start typing up sample essays that they might ask me, plus I submitted 2 papers and a book review for journal publication! These papers have been 2 years in the making, so it's a HUGE relief. However, I feel like I'm having to work more than ever on my assistantship (what I do to make money while getting the Ph.D.). Sorry to vent, but this has just been a crazy time for me!
Melissa, I will die if I go into labor in only 2 weeks! Did you have everything ready? I'm really counting on having those 2 weeks after my comps to get things together for the baby. Maybe I should get some of that stuff done now, though...:-) Hunter sounds very sweet. Does he understand that he will be a big brother?
Mandi, everything going okay with your job right now? Anything new?
Angela, how are you doing? Thinking about you!

Hey Karina - When we delivered we only had the crib set up. We didn't get a baby shower so we didn't have anything else. Nate had to go to BRU while I was in the hospital to pick up the carseat just so we could bring him home. Then when we got home a couple people brought us some gifts (with clothes) and they were all too big - he needed preemie. So about 2 days after he was born we were all in BRU shopping for some clothes. He does understand that he's going to be a big brother. He's very excited. Although one week he says he wants a baby sister then the next he wants a brother!

Morning girls!!!!
Well nothing new to report here at the moment
The weekend wasn't the very best. I've been struggling with this nasty toothache for a week now and Friday night OMG it was soooo bad! I am trying to stay well clear from pain relief medication too because of the surgery on Thursday so I have done really well. I'm actually going to see my dentist today at 3.30pm to get the bloody thing pulled out! Yay! About time! Hopefully I will be able to feel normal again
Wow Melissa 13 weeks PG today Yay!!!! Gosh how fast that has come!
How are you coping Karina? Want this bubba out of you now?

Ugh still can't log on...it's really weird I typed in my user name and password and hit enter and it took me to the next screen but still has me as a guest..... ANYWAYS...I guess the antibiotic did mess me up, because I o'd 2 days later than usual. DH was out of town so we didn't get any BD in around that time...I have an appt to get my blooddrawn tomorrow. Next month will be my last on Clomid. I am really bummed about TTC, I am getting frustrated and losing patience. I am trying to focus on other things, I even quit taking my temp once I got a coverline! I have lost 18lbs since Dec! I have been doing weight watchers religously and it helps keep my mind off of TTC. Me and DH are also trying to get our finances in order so we can FINALLY buy a house. We are thinking about moving in with my parents so we can save some money, it's hard to save when you are paying 650/month for rent! Besides all that everything is still pretty much the same. Today was my due date and I can not believe that I am not pregnant! When I had my MC I said I would be sad when my due date came, but I just knew that I would preg by then!!! AAAAAHHHHH!!!! Sorry this is so long! Hope you all are well!!!! Maybe next time I can log in!!!!!

Angela, that is such a bummer. I know you must be really frustrated. I'm glad you have been able to keep your mind on some other things at least part of the time, but I'm sure it's still hard. I just wish there was some way to basically see in the future to find out what happens--it would just take all the stress and worry out. Did you ever find a new dr. who could come up with another plan? I can't remember--do you have a diagnosis of a certain problem? Anyway, congratulations on the weight loss! That's really great. I hope to also join ww once I have the baby.
Mandi, I'm thinking about you! Hope the surgery is going well and your recovery is quick.
Melissa, are you doing alright? Feeling any better now that you're out of the 1st trimester? Are you guys going to find out the sex?
I'm okay, just really stressed out with studying and work. My blood pressure isn't doing well--the nurse said I should do as much bedrest as possible. But, I think only 36 days until my due date, so this will be over soon. I'm ready!

I bet they're still a bit swollen hugh? Karina - How is that precious baby coming along? I just wanted to share a picture of my 14w1d pg belly. Don't laugh.... I know I'm whiter than milk. And, I'm also bigger than what I thought I was. Enjoy!!
