Hi ladies! Yesterday went well.... Mikes dad looks good, BUT now the DR is telling us that he needs to have all of these test done on his heart... How did seeing the DR for pneumonia turn into heart issues, I have no clue... but now I am starting to worry. We will not know more until next week..... sigh. I hate waiting. --- We also went to Chili's with Uncle Donnie and then stopped by my friend Bridget's house. --- On the way home (we went to Morris) we went to Target and looked at baby stuff and Kailey stuff! So most of our trip was fun....
Alisha: I hope you are starting to feel some closure not that the funeral is over. I cannot imagine how hard it will be to tell the kids, but you know.... kids have a way of helping you through even the hardest of situations! ---- As for team Green -- we are joining! Holy cow! I am excited, the cool thing is that Mike is more excited about it then I was. He told me a few weeks ago that he was not sure about it. But yesterday I was going on and on about it yesterday while we were at Target, how exciting it will be.. and he asked me if I was sure. I said YES and then he said that he wanted to wait to find out also... WOOHOO! HE told me that he wanted that since I brought it up, but he wanted to be sure that is what I wanted before he said anything to me.... how cool is that? Kailey even is excited about waiting! ---- When is your next appointment, are you about to the point where you have them every other week?
Emily: I hope you are having a good week!

Hey, ladies! Wow! You guys have been posting away! Have I been gone that long?? Okay, I'll try to give a sufficient update: Scottie was a total accident. We were going to wait 6 years to get pregnant after we got married and got pregnant 8 months after we got married. But, she was the most pleasant surprise we've ever had! When I got diagnosed with PCOS, my doc said that if it would probably be best to go ahead and start trying because I had a better chance then of getting pregnant than if I waited. So, We've been TTC for 10 months and charting all 10 months of them. All I've figured out is that I ovulate every month, have an average luteal phase of 16 days and an average O date on day 14. A few months ago my doc did an ultrasound and they found 8 small cysts and 2 huge ones. She started me on metformin to reduce the cysts and did a follow-up ultrasound a few months later which showed that it had worked...the cysts were either gone or smaller. But, two months ago, she started me on clomid. She said that if I'm not pregnant within 6 months, then she'd refer me to a specialist. Well, I took it for two months, but after the second month I was having TONS of cramping. So, I called her and asked if I should be concerned and she said, no, just keep taking it. Well, I've been feeling completely PSYCHO since I started it and just was concerned about the cramping, so I made an executive decision to take a month off. Anyway, I've still been having lots of cramping, so I'm supposed to call and make an appointment to get another ultrasound. She'll probably refer me then. The problem is our insurance doesn't cover any infertility. I'm trying to get the fertility doctor's office to be more specific about what they bill you for the first visit. We'll see, I guess. But, my guess is that the clomid caused cysts which means that there's no point taking it. Arghhh. Also, I agree that Scott needs to get tested and he said that's fine. I'll let you guys know. As for this month, I don't know what to do about my chart. I should have ovulated by now, but my temps have been all over the place. It doesn't even look like I've ovulated and I've never not ovulated in a cycle since I've been temping. Anyway, did I answer all your questions? I'll post personals tomorrow, but Jacque, I'm so anxious to check out your chart! Woohoo! I'm so sorry for Mike's dad and will say prayers for him. Alisha-You're almost there, girl! I hope that you don't have to go back to work. don't worry a bit about the weight. I gained 45 pounds with Scottie and I'm 5 foot 3. I was a whale! Hee Hee! You just do what you gotta do. Jacque's right. You'll lose it later, no worries! Love you both. em

Hey girls, Jacque-I'm so excited that you are going to wait to find out the sex. It's a lot harder than you would think, so if you can stand it, good for you! I'm not at the every other week point yet. I have my next appointment next Monday the 16th at 12:00. I will almost be 31 weeks at that point. Yeah! I hope that the next 9 weeks fly by. I'm sorry to hear about your dad. What a major bummer. I hope that you get good news. Emily-I'm sorry that it has been such a struggle for you ttc.. That sucks. I hope that things get easier for you since you decided to stop the Clomid. I can't imagine how bad cysts must hurt, and hope I never have to. Poor thing. Well, I have to go to work in the morning. So I'm going to keep this short. Take care girls, Alisha

Ladies... this has to be short, nap time is almost over and I have a MILLION things to do! Emily: I am sorry you have so many obsicals to overcome while TTC. I wish I could snap my fingers and make it all better.... If I were you I would also stop the clomid. It is not worth the pain and the cysts. Did you call your DR yet? When you find out what is going on please let us know! Alisha: Try checking my link again, I took it off and recopied the original link, hopefully it works now! -- Your next appointment is in 6 days!!!! Today my temp went up and I got another positive OPK... so I think today is O day! We will have to wait and see, I should get my chart cross-hairs soon!
