To keep Buddy Group threads from getting to long, we lock the old thread and start a new one under the same name.
You can still go back and read from the old thread, but we ask that you continue your conversation on this new one.

OK girls, nine more days until I can test... I must stay strong and not test early! This is what I have yet to do between now and test day.... Tuesday 22rd: AOH meeting Wednesday 23th: I am going to Bake Pies and do some prep work for the big meal Thursday 24th: We will have any where from 4 to 15 people over for Thanksgiving.... I am so excited. We will eat, watch football, watch Christmas movies, and eat some more all day! Friday 25th: Black Friday!! WOOHOO!!! We are shopping! Saturday 26th: Mike's Parents are coming over and we are going to decorate the house. Sunday 27th: Decorate the outside and Church Monday 28th: Tumbling Practice Tuesday 29th: AOH Meeting Wednesday 30th: TEST DAY!!!! I hope it is enough to keep me from testing early. I feel great, staying positive... the only issue is my nose, I have to blow my nose like every thirty seconds. It is driving me crazy! Kailey got 5th place out of 8 at her meet yesterday, she did a tad bit better then at her last meet! She tried her best, and that is all that matters! I am so proud of her, and cannot wait to the last meet of the year, it is on the 4th. Then our next meet is not until February! - BTW, I did this twisty ribbon thing with her hair, it looked great, but it would have looked awesome if I was able to get it into a french braid! lol I will now go back to our old thread and catch up on posts... I will take care of personals in just a few.I hope all is going well, talk to you soon! Jacque

Hey, girls! Hooray for Kailey at her meet! I can't wait till my dd is old enough to do things like that...sports, dance, gymnastics, etc. You must be so proud! I hope that you can stay busy also! Of course, you know I can't, so I just took another one this morning and of course, BFN. Today I'm 14 dpo and ff is telling me to wait until Saturday. Oh well. I've been sure all month that this is it, but not feeling so optimistic anymore. I spotted a tiny bit for the last three days. It's not enough to even require a panty liner, it's more like a brown discharge. What's up with that? I guess 12-14 dpo is too late for implantation. Bummer. But, you know what, I just read a post the other day where a girl had a "normal" period. Next month started taking opks and it turned positive early in her cycle and she was thinking, "surely I'm not ovulating this early?". Someone told her to take a preg test and sure enough, she was preggo! Crazy, huh? And another friend of mine took a test when she was two days late and BFN, took another 3 days later, BFP! It's psycho how much I can analyze this crap. I'm over it. Alisha-how are you, girl? Are you feeling great? I hope that belly is getting big! You need to take pics and send them to us! Hope life is grand for you both. Happy Thanksgiving! em

Hi girls, Don't lose faith until the ugly red lady shows her face! Remember my story...I didn't get my BFP until I was 17 dpo, which is 7 days past my normal luteal phase. I really hope this is it for you girl! I'm feeling okay. I've been keeping up my excercise which is helping a lot. Yes, my belly is HUGE! I'm sticking WAY out there, which is why a lot of people think I'm carrying a boy. We got a message from the Doctor that our ultrasound study wasn't abnormal, but it wasn't complete. It seems that they didn't get all of the images necessary b/c the baby had "his butt in the way." That's what they said,..."his". It may have just been a coincidence, but I really think this is another sign. I guess we'll see in a few months. It's funny b/c they were worried that I was going to be mad for having to come back in, but I was like...oh yeah right, another chance to see my baby...I'm TOTALLY THERE! Anyways, I get another ultrasound next Thursday. I told my DH that this was a sign that God really did want us to ask the gender, but he didn't go for it. I was just joking of course. I'm really glad that we decided to wait this time. Emily, Did you have PCOS, or whatever the acronym is, when you got pregnant with your daughter? I'm just curious, b/c you mentioned that you had it. I hope that the Clomid really helps. Good luck! Jacque, I haven't heard from you for a couple of days and am missing you. I hope you are well. I know you are one BUSY CHICA though this week with that schedule you posted. I hope you are being a good girl and not testing early. Take care both of you, and Happy Thanksgiving!

No time for personals, I will do that tonight, just know that I love you both very much! 5 more days Until I can test, thank GOD the TWW fell over Thanksgiving Break, because the TTW is going by so fast. I really do not know how I feel... let see, I am about 8 DPO. I really have no urge to test, and you know... I feel normal. I always have the same symptoms this time of month... and every symptom falls under the category of "this symptom can indicate that AF is just around the corner, but at the same time it can indicate that I will be getting a BFP soon". So, I am not going to speculate.... just hope. Thanksgiving was WONDERFUL, in fact it was the best Thanksgiving we have ever had. The food was perfect, everyone was in an awesome mood, and we had a ton of people here. It was Me, Mike, Kailey, Uncle Donnie, Joette - Jim and Their 4 kids, and 5 of the AOH girls stopped by. We had 15 people, it was perfect. I hope each of our Thanksgivings to come are this wonderful... and you know, I think it was so wonderful because there was no "real" family here. I know that sounds awful, but if you knew how our family was you would completely understand. Other then that, not much is new here. I hope you are both having an awesome weekend, I will post more later after we get back from the mall!!!! I hope to hear from you soon! Jacque

Ok, we decided to go shopping later today.... that way we can relax this morning!! WooHoo, this means I can post more before we go! Emily: It is not over unless AF shows!!!! Do not lose hope!!! That being said - I am the same way, there has even been times I was tempted to test at CD 5 or so (after a lite period).... just on the off chance I WAS pregnant from the previous cycle, and the lite period was some sort of implantation spotting or something like that. I think that anyone who TTC for any long period of time thinks like that once in a while. It is normal, as long as you do not let it consume your life. I am the QUEEN of stressing out, I had to force my self to relax - which was not an easy task. I did it gradually over a couple of cycles.... first month I stopped OPK's the next I stopped temping... just those two changes have made the world of difference. I do not think about it all of the time, now TTC is just a thought that comes to me periodically though out the day.... it will happen for me and it will happen for you. As for Clomid - in Alisha's post she mentioned you taking it... is that correct? If so, there is a thread on this site (it is another buddy group) that is for ladies on clomid.... I fully expect you to continue to talk to us but if you have any questions they would be able to help you out. Diane (she and I talked before this site was created) and she is on Clomid, she would be able to give you lots of info. ---- As for tumbling, yes I am so proud. I love the fact that Kailey has found something she is good and AND enjoys doing. It is so awesome to be able to cheer her on at the events!!!! Alisha: HIS? HIS? I wonder if they just always say 'his" as a generic term. WooHoo I hope this is a hint.... oh, and I agree, - God wants you to find out the gender. I am happy that you get to see the baby again, maybe he will show off his stuff and you will see he boy parts. Be sure to get some photos from this next Ultrasound, I really want to see how much the baby has grown over the last few weeks!

Three days until testing, and I have not even had the urge to test, woohoo! I am 10 DPO today. I still feel normal, so I have no speculation to weather or not I am pregnant. Last month I had a 27 day cycle.... so I might test on CD 27 and 28... we will wait and see how I feel that morning! So, our Kitchen ceiling was leaking this morningg (it is under our bathroom) while we were getting ready for church..... yippee..... so instead of doing my hair and getting ready to head out the door I am now waiting for Menard's to open so I can get so pipe. Thank God Mike and I are handy around the house or we would have to pay a plumber a butt load of money to come out here on a Sunday! Well, I am going to go back in there.... Mike is getting ready to cut open the floor - mind you he has to pull up the tile we just set..... such is life! Oh, I forgot to mention..... we did go shopping on Black Friday. We went to Peoria from about 6pm until Midnight, and we had such a good time. The stores were so slow since everyone went earlier in the day, the best part is that we got a TON of shopping done AND we still got everything on sale! WooHoo! Plus Mikes parents were here yesterday, and Mike's mom was not a total cow. Don't get me wrong, she was still somewhat of a cow... but alot nicer then normal. So, we decided to show them the babies room and tell them that we were trying again. We did not tell them how long we were trying, or about Trent, but they really do not need to know. Mikes dad was so EXCITED!!!!! Mikes mom was a cow, and did not act at all excited. When Don (Mikes dad) was going on and on about the room, Cheryl (Mikes mom) said it looked ok.... OK? WTF is looks frickin awesome. If anything I expect you guys to act like it is no big deal since you are the ones that always have to listen to me go on and on and on about it! lol Ok, I am really needed in the bathroom now... I am just going to copy and past this update in all my boards... I do not have time to retype it over and over again! lol I love you girls! Jacque

Hey Emily and Jacque- Jacque- I'm so happy for you that your Thanksgiving went well. As for mine, it totally SUCKED! I had the worst Thanksgiving in my life and my mom and I are now in a nasty fight. Nice huh, a month befor Xmas! I'm so ticked off at her. Anyways, I'm sorry Mike's mom is such a witch. I can't believe she said that the baby's room looked, "ok." What a frickin' weirdo. I think she's jealous b/c you're so much more involved of a mother that she probably was. Don't let her get to you. Your nursery is the sweetest one that I have ever seen. I'm impressed that you are still not anxious about testing. I hope that this is your month for real! I really want for Kailey to get her Xmas wish. You take care, and let us know as soon as you find out what's going on. I will try to get photos from the ultrasound. What is AOH? Oh, and I love your new Xmas doll. Emily-I hope your Thanksgiving was better than mine. I can't wait to hear if you're pg or not. Keep us updated.

My ticker is rushing me... I am only on cycle day one... I really need to fix that. So, I am sitting here feeling all sorry for myself because AF showed. Ever since the m/c I have had 28 day cycles... that is not like me. I am a 27 day girl, but I figured that things were different because of the m/c. Then last month I had my first 27 day cycle in almost a year! Today is CD 27, and AF showed up... right on time. I wonder if my body is just now fully getting back to normal? Who knows... either way I have spent most of the day crying, and then I decided to get online and vent to you..... that is when I saw Jess's post (a friend of mine on AMerican baby) about the expectant mother who's husband is in critical condition. After that I pulled my head out of my a$$. Other then our loss, this year has been great... and true, it might take a few more months to get pregnant, but I know we can make babies.... we have done it twice. So, even though I am a bit sad this was not our month I am happy for my family, and for the opportunity for us to try again. I could not imagine my life without Mike, my heart and prayers goes out to that January mommy, and all others who are in similar situations...... Also, I just checked the calendar.... my test day is CHRISTMAS!!!!geocities.com/ambassadorsofhope2002/ ok, here is the website.... the AOH is the Ambassadors of Hope, it is a community service organization, made up of Kewanee area youth dedicated to improving our community and the way of living for those in need. This is a gropu that I started, it is the only one in the United States.... it is alot of fun, I love the members like they were my own kids! Ok, I am going to go back and re read posts.... I will add some more personals in a bit! Jacque

Hey, girls. Okay, as I'm sure you've figured out by now, AF showed. What do you guys think? I would tell you right away!!! No way, would I keep it from you. Anyway, I was over being pissed until last night. My cousin, who's like my sister, just told me she's 8 weeks pregnant. Bless her heart, she was afraid I'd be upset, so she's been holding out on telling me. She had sex unprotected 3 days after her period. Was not even trying. They'll be 18 months apart. Oh well. I'm really happy for her, I just wish that I was with her. Anyway, sorry, but I'm a little mopey today. She's the 4th friend that I have that's gotten pregnant in the last couple of months. Bummer Anyway, Alisha, I'm so glad to hear that you're belly is growing nice and big! Whoo hoo. So fun! I can't wait to see new ultrasound pics and belly pics! Are you still feeling good? Jacque, that stupid b#*&h! (I'm talking about AF, not your mother in law. Lol) I'm kidding. I know how difficult in laws can be. Don't worry about her not being supportive, as long as Mike is! Also, props to you for having such a great attitude this month! Atta girl! Also, thanks for the info about other clomid girls. Yeah, I'd like to take a break from temping, but hate to do that while I'm taking meds. I don't want to waste a cycle. Gotta hit the sack, but I love you girls. I'll keep you posted! LOve, em

WooHoo I am already on CD3, this is awesome.... AF will be gone in just a few days and then we can start baby dancing!!! Alisha: Today is the day of the big ultrasound. I am changing the banner after I am done with this post... it is going to have your "good luck" for your ultrasound and your baby names!!! Emily, I know what it feels like to have EVERYONE you know on this planet other then you come up to you and say Guess what! I am having a baby! It used to bother me ALOT, but now I look at is as one more playmate for my baby. Even if I do not get a BFP for a few more months, my baby and my friends and cousins babies will not be that far apart! Emily, tell me what CD you are on next time you long into the site... even though you are not a registered member I still want to add you to the CD tracker so I can keep better track of your cycles! lol OK ladies.... I am going to change what I need to and then get back to bed... i t is only 5:30am. I got up so early because I had to pee... and then had trouble falling back to sleep right away because I was so excited about the snow!!!! We got about an inch, and it is still coming down! WooHoo! Hey girls, I'm sorry that I haven't checked in for a few days. Yes, the ultrasound was FANTASTIC! I had the best ultrasound tech ever. He was young, about my age, and sooooooooooo sweet. He told me that my baby was "probably the cutest baby he'd ever seen." Isn't that so sweet. And yes, I do have new pics. I'm going to work on adding them to my signature tomorrow. I got a really cute one of the baby's face and one of his/her feet. Jacque-I second Emily's post. That stupid BI((&. .....BUT HOW FRICKIN' COOL IS IT THAT XMAS DAY IS YOUR TEST DAY? Mabey Kailey will get her wish after all. Oh, I will pray hon! Thanks for putting my ultrasound on the banner. Oh, and it's WAY better now that it's quicker to read. Emily, I'm sorry for you too that the stupid wh**e showed her ugly face. Maybe this will be your month. I know it must be hard hearing about all of these people getting pregnant. But, pretty soon it will be you and Jacque making that announcement. Well girls, I'm starving and baby is kicking me like crazy. He/she wants some pizza. We got 2 pizzas, M&M's, popcorn, and three frickin' funny movies for tonight (Madagascar, Kicking and Screaming, and Deuce Bigalow.) So, I'll email you both more tomorrow. Love ya' girls, Alisha
