To keep Buddy Groups from getting to big, we lock the old thread and start a new one. You can still go back and read from the old thread, but will need to post on this one! Happy Posting

Hey girls I'm finally back!
OMG it was a nightmare. Especially doing that whole bowel stuff last Wednesday. I couldn’t eat a thing and it was the worst feeling ever. I couldn’t stop going to the toilet!
Anyway the lap went well. MY TUBES ARE CLEAR!! Yay!! But… unfortunately they found a bit of endo in me. I don’t even know if they got rid of any of it and I’m pretty angry because I did that whole bowel cleanout so that if they did find some endo they could burn it away! I go back on the 15th of December for a check-up.
OMG the pain was awful! I really should of stayed in overnight I wasn’t ready to go home. The gas inside just went straight to both shoulders & rib cages. Oh man it was soooo painful! I just knocked myself out with painkillers all week. I shouldn’t have come into work today but I just had to. I had a very bad sleep last night. Only got like 1-2 hours sleep. I have insomnia big time right now. I may go see a doctor about sleeping pills. No way is this going to happen every night!
Anyway, just quickly saying hi, I have to go back to work now. I hope you are well

Oh Mandi, that sounds just terrible! I'm so sorry you've had to deal with this--at least the worst is over now. Did they say that your tubes were blocked for sure? Also, can you find out if they got the endo? I know blocked tubes are obviously much more problematic for getting pregnant, but endo can be too. At least it is much easier to get rid of. My mom had it removed and got pg with me 2 months later! So, when can you start TTC again--right away? Sorry it was such an awful experience, but hopefully it will give you a beautiful outcome! {{{{{HUGS}}}}}

Hey Karina, great to hear from you hun!!!
Hmmm not sure if you read correctly, but my tubes are clear! The dye passed through both of them so I'm very happy about that. At least I don't have to think about IVF... well not at the moment anyway.
Well the anethatist told me after I saw the surgeon (who told me briefly about the results) that they did remove a bit of the endo, but because there was quite a bit, I will have to have an other operation done - if I'm not PG in the meantime that is. I go back on the 15th of December for my check-up.
Believe it or not, but I actually didn't bleed at all after the lap yay!! So I guess I will just wait for AF to arrive and get straight back into TTC. I'm going to chart/temp next cycle just to see if the lap did help with my cycles & make me O sooner etc.. It will be very interesting to see!

Hey girls. Sorry I've been MIA. Just real busy lately. Woo hoo Angela! You got your cl! How are you doing? It looks like you got some bd in on time for the cl so hopefully this is your month! Mandi - I'm sorry you had such a horrible experience! But, glad all is clear. Have you scheduled another appointment to get rid of the endo? How do they do that btw? Karina - We haven't seen any belly shots in a while. How are you feeling? I love both of the names you suggested they are both cute! Anyway, I'm about to head home. I'll talk to you all later!

Hey Melissa! Great to hear from you hun! So are you getting ready to O soon? I think I will just have to go back for another lap or a similar operation/procedure to get the endo burnt off. I know that if you do get it burnt away it MAY still come back. Matt & I got some BD in last night (at 1am mind you!). It was the 1st time in 2+ weeks & OMG it was sooo good! And the best part was.... IT DIDN'T HURT!! At least I know the lap fixed up painful sex for me, so I'm very happy & grateful for that! Hope you all have a lovely weekend xxx

Hey Angela! Great to hear from you! At least you are already in the 2WW so at least you are just waiting... I find that waiting to O is sooo much harder
I'm not sure if I was O'ing yesterday cos I was getting a fair bit of cramping down there & all this creamy (and thick) CM also ... TMI I know... sorry girls!!!! See I don't get any egg-white/creamy CM hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I'm definitely charting next cycle that's for sure. I want to see if the lap helped bring O closer and shorten my cycles

Mandi, sounds like things are going great for you! I'm so happy for you! I know that endo can cause painful sex--I'm so glad they removed some of it. I can't believe you are already getting better CM. I'm so excited to see what the next cycle will bring! Melissa, how are you doing? I'll post another belly shot in about a week--I'll be gone next week, but I'll try to do it first thing when I get back. Chart's looking good, Angela! Hopefully the 2ww will go fast! Nothing going on here--I'm hosting a baby shower for my friend on Saturday, so I'm just trying to get stuff together for that. I'm going to Phoenix next week, and I'm really looking forward to the warmer weather.

Hey Karina! Thanks babe
You know what girls.... i'm so happy that we are all still together. This BG has just been going for a long time now and it's good to know that we are all still in touch with 1 another - especially you Karina. I know it must be hard on you that you're the only 1 PG in here, but it's just so good to stay in touch with 1 another.
I was with a BG last year on another baby site and we were all there TTC # 1 and I was the only one left who wasn't PG... well they all just didn't talk to me anymore, I was pretty upset about it all, but hey.... at least I know who my true friends are
Have a great weekend girls, I will be back on Monday... my time that is
Take care
xxxx

Congrats on the good bd Mandi. lol I'm glad that your procedure helped you get past one hurdle so far. Hopefully it'll help you get past the biggest one next. I'm also glad that we're still a bg. You all mean the world to me. I can't go one day without checking in on everybody. We've all been together for a long time now. Angela - Your chart is looking good! How have you been doing emotionally lately? We haven't heard much from you lately (like I'm one to talk). Karina - What will you be doing in Phoenix? Good luck with the baby shower. I hope you have a good time. Hey, when is yours going to be? Have you got it planned yet? Better make it early just incase you go early. Mine was scheduled for 4 weeks before I was due, and I delivered the day before I was supposed to have the shower so I never got one. I was very sad (still am a little) about that because I will never have a first child again nor will I get a baby shower for him. Sorry just had to share my story. It was very hard for me to get past, but I'm working through it. Nate (dh) still has to hear about it occasionally. Anyway I've kinda been in a funk. Well, not really. My meds are finally starting to stabalize me and I'm becoming more efficent at work, and have only wanted to read the message boards rather than post because I'm busy. I know what a shame! That's why I said not really. I guess just a funk for the website lately. How dare work interfere with me ttc. lol But, I want you all to know I'm here. Just a busy time of the year. I'm so happy too that my meds are finally starting to stabalize me. Emotionally I was ok with the m/c, but physically it hit me really hard. It was weird because I was ok with it emotionally. Crazy how your body works. I will check in later. Love you all!

Hi everyone, I'm so happy it's Friday! I'm working from home today, which means I'll only work about 3 hours, but I need to get some stuff done around here since we're having guests this weekend (long time friends who live in Philadelphia). The only thing I don't like about when they come is that they bring their very sweet, but hyperactive dog. We don't have a yard since we live in a townhouse, so the dog is bouncing off the walls inside. Also, our cat goes through a mental breakdown.
Anyway, Mandi, I wouldn't dream of leaving this bg. I tried to get into a pg one, but it was weird to be the one who went through fertility treatments and tried for a while. I've been scared this whole time something would go wrong, especially since I already had a m/c (even though it was only at about 5-6 weeks). It's really hard to feel much excitement during the first trimester after that, and only now am I starting to feel like I might actually end up with a baby in March. So, I just feel more comfortable with you girls. I might join another group once I have a baby, but I'll still be around here to make sure you all have the babies you want, too!
You know, I'm on this big infertility study right now for my job--I'm basically the person who goes through surveys if you take them and codes your answers into appropriate categories so we can use them for statistics. The vast majority of women with infertility problems do end up giving birth (90%), it's just a matter of time and figuring out the right treatment. So, I'm always optimistic about all the things you all are trying. Everyone here has time on her side!
Well, I should get something done. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Well emotionally I was OK until my post O temps this month started being the EXACT same as last month. It is very weird, I even had a temp spike on the same day. I am just frustrated. My dr. will only let me take Clomid for like 3 months, so if it doesn't happen next month I don't know what will happen. It's not like we can afford IVF or anything like that. My mom and dh say "You'll get preg again, I know it", and I am like how do you know? My mom tells me I am negative, but it really bugs me when they say that. I keep thinking about my friend Lori who got preg with twins on Clomid, m/c and then was never able to get preg. again. She moved on to adoption, but that is not something that I even want to THINK about yet. Ok sorry to unleash all that on you girls, like I said I am just frustrated. I also am so glad that we are still together. You girls are the only ones who TRULY know what I am going through!

Angela, sorry you're so frustrated right now. {{HUGS}} Time seems to move impossibly slowly when TTC, and it's so hard not knowing what will happen. I did want to reassure you that there are other things you can do that aren't as expensive or invasive as IVF. First of all, is there any way your doctor will up your Clomid dosage next time? What about finding another doctor who will do a few more rounds (especially since it worked for you once)? Then, what about Femara? Also, injectibles like Hollye is taking would be another thing you can try. My friend at work is due in Jan. after more than 6 years of trying, thanks to injectibles.
Anyway, I still think anything can happen this month. For all we know, maybe you did get pregnant last month but the embryo didn't implant right (happens about 50% of the time). I think that happened on my cycle before this pregnancy. In that case, your temps would be really encouraging. But if not, there are still plenty of things to try. Is your current doctor a specialist (like an RE)? If Clomid doesn't work, you need to have someone who knows about the other treatments and is willing to be more aggressive than it sounds like your current dr. is. We're always here for you whenever you want to vent! As much as they want to, those who have never experienced infertility just cannot understand all the thoughts and emotions.

Hey girls The bingo job on Friday night went really well. I had sooo much fun! But geez there is a lot of cleaning involved. I got the job anyway. I have 3 shifts this week. Not sure what days they are but I know I'll be working Saturday & Sunday during the day & 1 night shift. It was pretty full-on starting/training on a Friday night cos that's like the busiest night of them all!!!! But I did pretty good everyone said and I even got a compliment from one of the old ladies ha ha ha Well we got some BD in on Saturday night & it hurt again I hate this...... I thought the lap might have fixed painful sex but it doesn't look like it, and to top it all off, I had a bit of bleeding afterwards. God I hate this.......... Angela ~ Chart is still good. it might be implantation!! Don't give up hope! Anyway I hope everyone is well.
