Ok girls I need some advice. I called the dr's office today and talked to his nurse. I told her that I started and told her that I wanted to take my Clomid 3-7. She said no problem and called the Clomid in to my pharmacy. THEN she says I need to schedule a 23 day progesterone blood test for you.......ok first I thought it was a 21 day blood test or 7 DPO....ANYWAYS I said ok and she scheduled me for 12/13. SO IF I O 7 days after my last pill, then when I go to the appt I will be 9DPO. I asked her if I O'd earlier or later than expected do I need to call and change the appt so it is 7DPO and she said no. It may not matter depending on when I O, but if I O on CD 13, 14, or 15 then I will be 10, 9 or 8 DPO, and if I O later then it wont even be 7DPO yet. AAAAHHHH! I hope that was not confusing. What do you girls think? Do you think it will make that much of a difference if when I get the test I am not 7 DPO?! I am probably putting too much thought and worry into to it, but since I already took Progesterone when I didnt need it, I would really like the test to be accurate! Ok so how is everyone doing?

Hey Angela!! Speak of the devil! I was just wondering where you had gotten to!
Honestly... I don't think it will really matter... what does everyone else think?
I just thought the progesterone bloods that they take is just to see what your levels are. If they are over a certain amount then you have O'd if you know what I mean?
Does that make sense?

Hi Mandi!!!! I have always heard that your progesterone levels peak at 7 DPO and then start to decline if you are not pg. I might be wrong about that though. All I know is that my progesterone levels @ 7DPO the cycle before last was 25 point something. I just worry that if the test is not done at 7DPO then it will not be accurate. Like I said earlier I am probably just TOO worried about it!

Angela, I wouldn't worry about it. I found this info online: The progesterone peak, which occurs between days 18 to 24, gives an indication of ovulation. This is sometimes called a "Day 21" progesterone but, in fact, the progesterone peak occurs about seven days before the onset of menses and, therefore, progesterone should be measured on day 24 for a 31 day cycle, day 18 for a 25 day cycle etc. I found this at: www.show.scot.nhs.uk/monklands/index.htm?/monklands/ClinicalServices/LabServices/Biochem/NOTES/Gona.HTMLI don't think 2 days would make a big difference. Also, how low does the progesterone need to be before you have to take supplements? I think mine was around 15 with this pregnancy and they told me not to worry about it.

Good morning girls. I'm around. Just been busy with work and school lately. I also haven't had much to say lately (I know, I'm lame). I think I finally O'd though. We'll see in a day or two if I actually get cl or not. Karina - I'm glad you had a good time in Phoenix. We've thought about moving there. I get so sick of winter! But then again when we lived in San Diego we missed winters. Aren't you done with school after this semester? I can't believe you're almost 24 weeks along already! We need some new belly shots. Angela - I think you're actually given a window as to when your progesterone levels need to be at a certain point. The month we conceived I got mine done on something like cd 25 of a 32 day cycle. When I got the results back the gave me the levels and what it could mean (ie, leutal phase or 1st trimester). I wouldn't stress about it too much. Have you talked to your doctor about extending you on clomid past round 3? I wonder if he just wants to do 3 rounds then a break for 3 rounds then another 3 rounds on. That's what my doctor wanted to do. I think I'm going to schedule an appointment with my OB for the beginning of December to start clomid. Although I think I O'd I don't think it was strong enough to make a difference because my monitor didn't pick it up at all. Mandi - I'm sorry about your spotting. But, I agree with Karina. I think your cervix is just sensitive right now. I wonder if the endo makes it sensitive. That would explain why you had spotting before your lap also. I would keep temping like Karina mentioned and if a/f doesn't arrive in a week I would test. I would at least wait a week though. Didn't you say you used to spot for about 2 weeks? And now it's only been one right? So I would try to wait it out at least another week. Anyway, I'll be back later today. I have to get ready for a meeting.

Hi everyone, Hope you all had good holidays--Mandi, hope you have a holiday soon, too!
Melissa, I'll post some belly pics soon--I have a couple of new ones, and I'm really beginning to show. Do you think you O'd?
Angela, any Clomid side effects this month?
Mandi, I think I've heard that endo both makes sex more painful and AF more painful. Hopefully those problems will end when the dr. takes care of the endo? Any word on when the endo will be removed? I do think it's too soon to say the lap didn't do anything, though. It's unrelated to endo, right?
It's going to be so hard to go back to work tomorrow after this nice, long break! I haven't been to class in 2 weeks due to my trip and the holiday. Only about 2 weeks to go, not including my final. I'm so ready! What's going on with the rest of you?

Hey girls Hey Karina, I'm going ok. CD5 now and AF is almost gone. I must say, AF has been a lot kinder to me lately. Not as heavy and the cramps haven't been that bad too. YAY!! Finally some good news, so it looks like it's back to TTC again hooray!!! I will be charting as soon as AF goes, so it will be very interesting to see if the lap will bring my O date any closer. I'm not sure when I will be getting booked in to get the endo removed. I see the hospital/surgeon on the 15th of December, so I guess we'll see what happens from there I hope you all are having a great weekend I worked Fri & Sun night and this week I'm working wed, Fri, Sat & Sun nights *sigh* OMG... i'm gonna be sooo tired

Ok girls. I'm sitting here feeling a little sorry for myself. Next month it will be 12 months since ttc. It really shouldn't take this long for a second. I am calling to make an appointment with the OB so I can start clomid again next cycle. :-(

It was when I was changing the pill, and here I am almost 1.5 years of TTC and still nothing I just feel so bummed out, i feel like it won't ever happen again. but you have to be strong Mellissa, trust me. We are all here for 1 another, we will help each other get through this, I promise xxxxxxxxxx

Melissa, I'm here for you, too! {{{HUGS}}} I was right at 12 months TTC when I got pregnant, and it's hard when you hit milestones like this. I just know you'll have another baby, and we'll be here to celebrate when you do! Mandi, you will be successful too--they just have to fix a few things first. I'm glad they found the endo--it's so common, and fairly easy to get rid of. That may be the only reason you haven't had another baby yet. Hopefully 2006 will be a great year for everyone here!

Hey Karina, I hope you are right!
Well we got some BD in last night & it was really good (when isn't it?) he he he
I saw this program on TV about this naturopath that has a very high success rate on giving women their BFP's and it's near where I live so in the new year if no BFP by then, then I'm going to check it out!
