To keep Buddy Groups from getting to long, we lock the old thread and start a new one. You can still go back and read from the old thread (they are located in the Buddy Group Achieves), but will need to post on this one from here on out. Happy Posting Thanks Jacque

Alisha: You are so fricken cool. Thanks so much for the compliments... I am really not all that. No, wait... I am, you are so lucky to have me as a friend. Actually Mike and I were talking last night..... he said that there was a possibility of us moving when he was done with school. He is thinking either Madison Wisconsin... or SEATTLE! How cool would that be? At least it is a heck of alot closer then Illinois! --- I am glad breastfeeding is going well! That is great news.... but more importantly how are you? How is Yesi adjusting to being a Big Sister? --- Emily: I never got the photos! Will you try sending them again?--- I love your names, I cannot believe that you are already that far into your pregnancy! Welcome to the 2nd trimester! So, when is the big ultrasound, I cannot wait to find out if you are having a boy or a girl! Ok... here is my TTC plan, let me know what you think..... I am not going to chart, take OPK's, use my ferning scope, temp, check CM, CP, or even keep track of what cycle day I am on. I am going to have sex only if we want to and only if it is fun. That way I do not have to always have my CD day and that in the back of my head during for-play. lol When I go in for my annual in June I will bring the charts I have (about 10) and tell him that he can just look at those if he needs charts..... lol. Then I will get his input on weather or not we need help. If he says no, all looks good then I will trust in him and the lord and leave it at that. If he says we need testing or meds.... well, we will have to think long and hard before we make any decisions. I am NOT against them, I just want to be sure that we are both ready to go that route before we do. I am not bitter.... I am actually excited about TTC this way.

Hey girls, Everything is going great with us, how about you both? Yesenia is such an amazing big sister and helper to me. I just adore her and she just adores Abriyel. She can't get enough of her and she tells me everyday, "Mommy, she's so cute!" You'd have to hear the way she accents the "so" to see why that is so cute...but trust me it's adorable. Serge went back to work last week, which sucked. But, we were thankful for the month that he got off. Most people don't get that much, so we're very thankful. I'm trying to adjust to staying home with my two girls. It's tough, but wonderful...I don't know how you do it Jacque. JACQUE...TELL MIKE I VOTE FOR SEATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually, Oregon is even better if you want my opinion...ha ha! If you moved to Seattle, we might actually get to see eachother once in a while. Oh my gosh that would be so frickin' cool...so when ya' movin? Ha Ha! No seriously, when? Hee hee.
Emily- I hope you are well. I can't believe you are so far either! I didn't get the pics either. You can see my girls now though, b/c I finally decided to post them. See message below to find out what took so long. It is copied from my other board.
Hi girls,
Okay, okay before ya' all chew my head off for not posting the pics like I said, I have a very good excuse. Ha ha! No, seriously, look, they are here now so ya' all can see em' finally. The pic of Yesi looks really warbled! I promise that my daughters mouth and arms aren't smeared. Aren't my girls the cutest? Okay, I'm in bragging mode now. Okay, as for the excuse...I ended up in the Doctor's office for over 4 hours last Friday...the day I was going to post the pics. I woke up with TERRIBLE pains in my stomach and then I started getting the chills and aches and pains everywhere. Anyways, to make a long, long HUGELY long story short, I have a post-operative uterus infection...sucky and EXTREMELY painful. I'm doing much better now though b/c the Doc perscribed me a pain killer. I ended up bawling my eyes out in the office though b/c they told me that I had to stop giving Abriyel my milk for a minimum of 14 days and suggested that I stop permanently. The Doctor was the sweetest lady in the world and she totally sympathized with me. She said, "Don't worry, breast feeding is over rated anyways." She didn't really mean it, but she was trying to make me feel better. It turns out that they think the reason that I got the infection in the first place is b/c my immune system is so down from all the stress I've been under with my struggles with b/f. Anyways, I won't bore you with all the details, but basically I had to have a urine test, a blood test, a pelvic exam and an abdominal xray before they figured it out...oh, and I also have mastitis!!! Aren't I a mess. Anyways, it was really hard to take at first and I was EXTREMELY depressed for a few days, but I'm feeling a little bettre now. I did the absolute best I could for Abriyel, and that is all I can do. I'm glad you all have been so supportive of me though!

Well, it is 6am and I am once again at the computer..... though this time it is for fun. Mike is staying home today to help me prepare for our giant weekend, so I hope to be able to get caught up on posts since I have an extra set of hands. I have thought of the most perfect analogy for TTC. Has anyone seen the movie "groundhog day" with Bill Murry? If not, here is a synopsisi..... A weather man is reluctantly sent to cover a story about a weather forecasting "rat" (as he calls it). This is his fourth year on the story, and he makes no effort to hide his frustration. On awaking the 'following' day he discovers that it's Groundhog Day again, and again, and again. First he uses this to his advantage, then comes the realization that he is doomed to spend the rest of eternity in the same place, seeing the same people do the same thing EVERY day... that is, until he gets it right. Well, that is how TTC is,(or at least how I was looking at it until recently) every cycle we go though the same thing all of the testing the meds the OPK's the temping the stress... over and over again, until everything falls in line and we "get it right" then one day we wake up and the cycle of TTC is broken when we finally get that BFP. Then all of a sudden this last cycle I did not want to do any of that anymore. I want a baby, but I do not want to lose my mind in the process. Anyway, as part of my state inspection I went in for my health exam yesterday. Well, my DR was excited about my weight loss and asked me why I decided to lose weight...... and I told her we were TTC (this is my "normal" DR not my OBGYN) she laughed and said it was about time. I told her about Trent and all of the crap we have been though with TTC and she listened like I was telling the most amazing story.... when I was finished she told me she was glad that I decided to pull my head out of my a$$. And yes, that is a direct quote. She told me that I have normal 28 day cycles, that I ovulate on the same day, that my period is always the same and that I have done all of the at home testing that is possible..... and so far all of that points to everything being perfect. Now she said that she agrees it is time to stop POAS for ovulation and taking HPT like there is no tomorrow and to just have sex. That is it, sex and more sex. She told me to do it in a different room every night and if need be head out to the park. lol keep it fun and exciting....... so, it is official I have medical backing on not frantically trying to have a baby. My head is officially pulled from my ass. Tuesday was my USDA inspection... basically then come to my house look though my pantry and my menus at what I am feeding the kids..... they watch the kids eat a meal (yes I am so serious) and then talk to me about the food pyramid and all of that jazz..... well, I passed with flying coloring. She even said she could not find anything wrong with my Day Care! WooHoo!!! Wednesday was my CCCR&R inspection... they come to the house to check on what educational activities and crafts I have been doing with the kids and needless to say she was completely blow away with our lesson plans and even wrote down some of my ideas to share with other providers! WooHoo! Then.... I had my phone consultation with DCFS yesterday... that is my prep for the "Big" inspection. DCFS comes to the house and checks for safety, checks to see that my paperwork and records are up to date for each child, and also makes sure I am in compliance with all of the silly (did I say silly, I mean frickin stupid a$$) rules we have to follow... I know I will do fine with that one also I really keep up on all of that stuff. That big inspection is on the 11th... so I even have a bit more time to prepare for it, that is if I really needed to. The best part of the week (well at least so far) was our first Girl Scout meeting! I am now officially a Brownie Troop leader! It was so much fun!! My friend Marianne and I are the leaders and we have 8 awesome girls in our troop!!!! We had such a great time. It is nice to work with Kailey and her firends and watch them interact together!! This weekend will be busy also.... tonight we are going to the Quad Cities Swing game with Kailey's class, then tomorrow we have a Food Drive, Special Olympics Practice, and then we are heading to Arlington Heights for Kailey's Big State Meet!!!!! My online friend Sheyla lives in the Arlington Heights area so she is going to meet us for dinner!!! She will be my first online friend that I meet..... then Diane and Linda (hopefully soon) then it would be awesome if I could hook up with Jennifer when we were in Ohio... but now with her moving chances are that is not going to happen..... To bad Torie and Aalissa live so far away... then again, we do vacation in Michigan once in a while..... Ok.... there is my "me" update, I am going to go back and see what you all had to say so I can properly reply to your last posts. Jacque

Emily: I could just beat you! You need to check in more, I need to hear about how your pregnancy is going. When are we going to see sonogram photos? What is the baby's average heart rate? Do you think you are having a boy or a girl.... come on, fill us in, you know you want to!!! Alisha: I am so glad that Yesenia is such an amazing big sister and helper!!! It is great that she is adapting so well to having a baby in the house, it sounds like the girls are going to be very very close.... just like you wished for! How fricken awesome is that!! -- I know it must have been hard with out Serge there, but your are right... a month off to be with you and the kids is beyond awesome, and he will have the summer off also, right? --- Sometimes I wonder how I stay home with all this kids also, I have 5 here this morning.... three of them are 1 year old, one is 2 years old, and the other is 3 years old. They are all sleeping now, but earlier they were not being very good. All is well though, for the most part they are WONDERFUL kids!!! --- Oregon... ok I am sold, anywhere is better then here. Kewanee sucks ass it is the worst town I have ever lived in. If I did not have my family, my friends, day care kids, and volunteer work then I would lose my mind!!! Mike has 10 more months left of school.... then we will start talking about the move. We might only be here for about another 18 months... that will go by fast. If we are here longer that will be ok, as long as we are out of here within two years..... --- I know I have said it a million times, but the girls look so perfect! I am glad you FINALLY posted photos of them. I love all of the St. Patrick's Day stuff around Abri! --- I am glad you are doing better... I was starting to worry because it had been a while since you checked in. Do not worry about the breastfeeding, you gave it your all... who knows, your next baby might actually be able to breast feed for a whole year... will there be a "next" baby? -- Next time you are depressed you need to get online. We love you and are here for you.... you big jerk!!! Sometimes all you need to pull you out of the dumps would be to hear from me... you know, because I am so fricken cool and all. Jacque

Hello girls, I'm holding my baby and typing at the same time...a first for me. Anyways, I just wanted to drop in quickly and say Hi. Jacque- Thanks for the words of encouragement. I am feeling a little better now...especially now that my sweet little girl is smilng at me. She is so cute with her smiles. I will have to post an updated picture of her, since that one was a newborn photo. You know how much babies change in the first month. She's just perfect! I'm glad that you did well on your daycare inspection, good for you! And the Doctor's visit sounds great. I'm proud of your weight loss too. I need to make myself a weight loss tracker. I've lost 20 pounds since delivery, but need to lose about 75 more. Can't wait for that! Yes, we are planning on having one more child. I'm thinking we'll try and space them the same as Yesi and Abri, so that means about 2 more years and we'll start the TTC cycle again...by the way, that is hilarious about the analogy for TTC.Groundhohg's day is one of my favorite movies! TTC however, is not! The sex part is great though. Speaking of sex...tonight's the big night...maybe. I go in for my clearance exam today. I hope that I get the all clear for everything b/c we are ready. I can't believe Abri is 6 weeks old today. She's growing up so quickly! Can't wait to be looking at 6 week photos of your newest addition!
Em- I second that! We want to hear more. We miss talking to you. I hope all is well with your pg and that we can see photos soon. What do you feel you're having? We all know how accurate my mother's instinct was on that one. Ha Ha!
Love, Alisha

Alisha: I have become a pro at typing and holding a baby at the same time. Especially since Caden is now teething. He loves to sit in this chair and rock back and forth... the trick is to type while rocking!!! --- WooHoo for already losing 20 pounds, that is GREAT!!! I bet you are already starting to feel more and more "normal" with each passing day, I bet you just look so beautiful!!! --- That is great that Abri is now smiling! Yes, I agree it is time to share a new photo, just don't wait until she is six months to post one. She is much to cute to keep to herself! You know, it would be awesome to see some photos of the girls together... --- WooHoo we will both be having sex tonight! LOL Except mine is babymaking... I think it is great that you are going to have one more kid. You know this works out perfect, I will get pregnant soon and you can dwell on my pregnancy like it is the most fascinating thing in the entire world..... and then shortly after my baby is born you can start TTC again. We can keep alternating like that until I have my 3 kids too. I hope all goes well at your appointment, and that you and Serge can find the time to actually get some "quality" love making in... unless you are into hard core tie you to the bed sex, then I hope the girls are sound sleepers. lol Jacque

LMAO!!! Jacque you are hilarious! Well, as you read on the other boards, I didn't get my groove on like you did. Darn it! I like that plan about us alternating back and forth until we both have 3 kids. How cool is that that you and I both want three kids. I wonder how many Emily wants???
Emily- How many kids do you want.
Okay Jacque, I'm going to post the same message from our other board, but you don't care b/c you do it all the time to. Yeah...I'm on to you. Ha Ha!
So, I had my 6 week checkup and decided to go on the pill. I was going to do the I.U.D., but there is no way that I could lay there for 5 minutes while they insert it. I can't even barely tolerate a pap smear for 30 seconds. The Doctor told me that she would try and insert it, but with the way that I reacted with just a pap, she didn't think it would be possible, so she perscribed me the lowest dose birth control pill possible. I am just concerned about gaining weight, that's why she perscribed such a low dose. The incision looks good, and other than the fact that my uterus is still infected, all is well. I should be cleared for everything by Friday.
We went to WalMart and bought Yesi a play structure today. It is frickin' awesome. It is called the Durango. If any of you have a Walmart nearby, (probably everyone) then you can check it out when you're there next...they have pictures in the Customer Service part. It has 2 safety swings, a see saw swing, (called a glider) a rock wall to climb, a covered play area at top (vantage point) and a wave slide. Yesi is so excited! We were going to wait until after Serge was done teaching summer school, b/c we thought that it would cost about $1000-$1500, b/c that's how much they are in other stores, but I'm glad we didn't wait. Serge just happened to see the sign while he was taking Yesi to the bathroom, and can you believe they were only $398!!!!!!!!!!!! We were SO HAPPY! While we were there, they sold 3 within 5 minutes, and we got the last one!!!! They said that they wouldn't be getting anymore in until next Spring too. Aren't we so lucky?! We have wanted a play structure for Yesenia since last summer b/c we have a huge fenced in backyard, and nothing to do back there. Yeah! Abri, Yesi and I are going to spend a lot of time back there now while daddy is at work. The weather is getting perfect for it.

Jennifer: You are so awesome! Thanks for finding and posting the link to the play equipment that Alisha bought! Alisha: I am laughing so hard right now! I just read this..... How cool is that that you and I both want three kids. I wonder how many Emily wants??? Emily- How many kids do you want. Not sure why I thought that was soooo hilarious, but it took me like 5 minutes to stop laughing! --- I know, I post the same thing on both buddy groups, sure the heck beats typing it twice... THANK GOD FOR CUT, COPY, AND PASTE!!! lol --- I so love your play equipment that you bought the girls, they are going to love it. Just think, come fall Abri will be about big enough to actually enjoy the safety swing!!!! This weekend was great, Kailey did a wonderful job at state, we had a great time with Sheyla during dinner and we also got some shopping in! I will fill you in about it all later, for now I am going to finish catching up on personals! Jacque

Ok, I finally have a moment.... the kids are all sleeping and my house (well at least the downstairs) is clean. I really do not know where to start.... alot went on this weekend, it was all good.. well at least most of it. Saturday morning we got up early and started getting ready for Special Olympics Practice and the can drive... I was supposed to have 16 AOH members show up, only 6 came. We had to come up with a new plan for the morning because of the kids that did not show up... but we managed. We finished the Can Drive in record time and even decided to take some cash from the AOH fund to use to buy even more canned goods for the Pantry. As of this morning I am in the process of disbanding the AOH (yes, that is the same group that I was just talking about in the above listed paragraph). It was a hard decision but it has been a long time coming, we have 17 members but only about 5 of them really care any more... so those 5 and I will go to the different events just for fun... we will no longer have meetings or any of that. Just keep in contact via email. I am not really sad, it just seems like kids today have different priorities and sports and partys are more important then helping others. The thing is that I was not a good kid, I got in trouble and did things that I would just die if Kailey did. But you know I did not drink or do drugs or any of that crap. I just wish that these kids would pull their heads out of their butts..... Anyway we left Kewanee at about noon and got to Arlington Heights at 3pm. We hung out watching the NFL draft (did anyone else watch this?) until I got up enough nerve to call Sheyla at work. You would have thought I was in high school, I was all giggly and nervous before I called..... I about died when I heard her voice, it was NOTHING like I though it would be. The funny thing was that she thought the same thing about mine. We decided to meet at the place we were staying, she called when she got there.... and Mike, Kailey and I went down to the lobby to meet her. Ahhhh it was love at first site. lol No, really I recognized her right away and there was no awkwardness... it was like we have been meeting each other and talking in "real life" for years. We went to this amazing pizza place, the decor was fricken awesome and the pizza was borderline orgasmic. We got these Spinach and Cheese sticks, mozzarella sticks, and a sausage supreme and a spinach pan pizza... we all ate a ton, but it was so worth it. I woke up the other night and could actually "small" the pizza... I cannot wait until next time we are in that area, it will be Sheyla's and my "regular place to meet. Kailey's meet was HUGE, OMGOSH!!! It was crazy, there were so many kids there. I know it was the state meet, but HOLY COW! There were some groups that had 40 kids in them. Could you imagine? Kailey was so nervous, but she did great. She placed 15th and is an alternate for the National Competitions!!!! We talked it over with her and SHE decided that if she is bumped up to the top 10 she is going to pass on the opportunity to go to Nationals... this is her first year competing, and she feels that someone that has been in tumbling longer deserves the chances to go more then she does... how awesome is she!!! Other then that we went shopping in Wood-field - stopped at the Lego Store and the Rain Forrest Cafe... then went to TGI Fridays. We got home late Sunday night and then Monday had a busy day at work followed by Kailey's Spring Program last night. The program was great!!! I have so many photos to post, some of me and Sheyla, Kailey's school program, her meet, and her first communion..... I also need to post our new family photos too!!! Well, that is about it for me... how is everyone else doing?

Hey girls, jennifer- Why don't you join us and become another of my Chatterbox buddies. I know you are already Jacque's. Everyone is Jacque's buddy. Yeah, we're pretty pumped about the playstructure too. Maybe when your little one gets here, (they;ll be here before you know it ) you can get one for them too. Jacque- I knew you would think that was funny, b/c I'm starting to get your sense of humor. Kailey has a real gift it seems. I'm going to put Yesi in tumbling in the Fall I think. I'm trying to type with one hand b/c my little on is very fussy today. I took the photos of the girls yesterday, and if Abri calms down, I'll post them later. I'll have to talk to you some more later. My little chica is one pissed off girl!
