Hey Jacque
Just a quick post from me... I'm flat stick!!!!
The hopsital did a HPT for me which came up BFN... but they only did that because they said a lot of women come into emergency with abdominal pain and nausea and end up being PG. I knew I wasn't but just had to rule it out for Justin.... just in case he he he
Feeling pretty good. Went for a run last night & got up at 5am this morning. Gotta keep myself busy otherwise I'll go mental!

Hi girls
OMG what a weekend!!! First of all I win on KENO again (sort of like bingo). 20 numbers are randomly chosen between 1-90 and you can choose how many numbers you are trying to pick. I'm not greedy so I always choose either 4 out of 4 or 5 out of 5. 2 weeks ago I got 5 out of 5 which paid me $640... well Saturday night I got it again! Yeah!!!!!!!!
And then..... yesterday, Matt, my girlfriend Netti & I won $5000 on a scratch-it! That's right! Got the cheque & everything! OMG OMG OMG
So yeh... that was my weekend and I have Thursday off this week to go see my surgeon!

Hey girls! Just checking in real quick! Mandi - I'm sorry you ended up in the ER the other night. But, glad you get to see your surgeon this Thursday. Let us know how it goes. CONGRATS on the winnings! That is awesome!!! ;D I am completely jealous!!!! Karina - Hope your doing well. When do you finish with school stuff? How is Clara? We haven't seen any pics in a LONG time. So, I think it's time to share! Angela - How are you doing? Anything new? Where are you at in your cycle? Jacque - Glad things are going well for you. That first appointment is going to be so exciting for you all!!! In regards to prenatals I actually go with the WalMart brand. The have less iron and more calcium and are the same price that my co-pay would be for prescription ones. With the lower amount of iron I'm not constipated. They're called OneSource. Well, I lost some of my mucus plug this weekend. It was disgusting but now it's made me completely nervous! They say you start to lose it when you've started to dialate and eface. All I have to say if I am already dialated or efaced is WOW!!! Well, I'll check back in when I get a chance.

Hi Jacque
No haven't spent all the money. I'm too scared too!!!
Yesterday went terrible. What a waste of a day. Basically there was NOTHING the surgeon could do re: bring my op further, I could be waiting for another 6 - 12 months still. I haven't stopped crying. I'm so over this. Matt & I are now joining with private health care, it has to be done. I just feel so numb.

Hi everyone, I passed my comps and dissertation proposal, so all I have left is the dissertation. I'm teaching right now, but it's going okay. Clara starts daycare as soon as my parents leave (here for the 3rd trip in 3 months...) We are fine, just busy and tired. Clara is still waking every 3 hours at night, so it's impossible to ever catch up. Hoping she gets better at 4 months. Melissa, not much longer! I'm sure you're getting to the point where you can't wait to go ahead and have the baby. Mandi, that is just awful about the surgery--you have been getting the runaround for over a year. That's just crazy. Will the private health insurance be expensive? You're in my thoughts! {{{HUGS}}} Congrats to the pg ladies--wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months! Here are a few pics of Clara, can't remember what I posted before...

Mandi: I am so sorry that things did not go the way you planned. What all do you have to do to join private health care. What is the difference between the health care you have now and Private Health care? Karina: I LOVE your new photos of Clara! She is so perfect! Are you going with a home day care or a day care center? Jacque

Thanks, Jacque! She is going to a church daycare, actually. It's fairly small, with 2 caregivers per infant, and I feel really comfortable with it. I looked at one next door to me and almost left in tears, it was so bad! I have actually done research on the outcome of daycare on babies (fine if the daycare is good quality) in my Ph.D. program. If you're interested in anything about it, let me know! How are the rest of you doing?? You are all in my thoughts--hope everything is going well! Here is a pic I took yesterday...

Karina: Yes, any information would be fantastic. As you know, I run a home day care and I am always very curious on why people make their decisions when it comes to day care settings. As for the church day care, that sounds absolutely wonderful!!!! The churches around here do not offer day care, but I know if they did they would do a booming business. Heck, I would LOVE to run a church day care, but every time I pushed the idea at our old church they shot down the idea, said they would have to budget it for next year.... but I would here the same story the year after and the year after...... Now the church we go to (about 45 minutes away) runs a day care, but it is more along the lines of a preschool setting.
