Hey Melissa!!!! So good to hear from you! I knew you wouldn't desert us like that! Not after everything we've all been through! Just take your time, as long as I know you're alive, safe & well that's all that matters Hey I took this pic of me this morning LOL I think I look quite nice. Was thinking of getting it enlarged & framed for Matt

Hey Ang!!!!
Thanks for the compliments. I did have a top on actually.... it was a boob tube he he he
I was away from work yesterday. AF arrived in full force on Saturday night and I haven't had AF like that before. I went to the doctors & got some really strong pain killers. They aren't helping me that much. But only 2 weeks and 1 day until I go see my surgeon. (29th of June) Hooray!!! I aint leaving the surgeon until I get my operation date! Even if I have to full-on bring the waterworks on. I DON'T CARE!!!
Hope you are all well xxxxxxxxx

Hi guys, I'm SO sorry I haven't been around at all--I know, it's been weeks. I've just been so incredibly busy with school stuff. I had to turn a paper around for publication at the same time as writing my dissertation proposal, and with Clara not sleeping well, every spare moment I've had has been for sleep or work. Jeremy's about to kill me, but I finally just finished both. Still busy, though, my comps and dissertation proposal defenses are next week, and I start teaching a new class the week after that.
So, I apologize for not being on here--I've totally neglected friends and family lately. I have thought about you all and hope everything is goimg well for you--when I have a few minutes, I'll go through some previos posts. I missed you! Karina

Well.... it is official, I am four days late. I am really starting to think that this is it...... I will test on Sunday morning. Or then again, maybe not. I am so scared to test, I do not want to see another negative, but you know..... I am four days late. I don't know...... I will have to see how I feel in the morning. I am a little indecisive on what to do, can you tell? Jacque

I am freaking out right now... but in a good way. I called my DR's office today to tell them that I am pregnant and needed to make an appointment. I thought that they would want me to wait until I was about 8 to 12 weeks.... well, they want me to come in today!!!! PLUS I might even have a sonogram!!! How awesome is that. I am so excited that I could just puke!!!! I am so nervous!!! Please say a little prayer that all is perfect with my little bean.
As for details and symptoms I keep forgetting what I post where, that is why I already have not filled you in... I promise I will share all of the gorey details about symptoms, about me testing and how everyone reacted later on (hopefully today, it depends how my appointment goes)
Thanks Girls!

Hey girls! Sorry I've been gone so long again. I've (not sure if I told you or not) had to take on some new responsibilities at work due to a girl leaving our dept. and it's been taking a lot of my time and, I haven't been logging in at home as I try to spend time with Hunter. Jacque - OMG! I pm'd you. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That is wonderful!!!! Mandi - Love the picture! You look GEORGOUS!!!! If I were you I would frame it. And, I agree with Angela - you look like you don't have a top on. Angela - How are you doing? I'm assuming by your post to Jacque that you guys are actually ttc again? You don't have a ticker or anything in your siggy anymore. Are you tracking anything at this point? Karina - Glad to hear from you!!! I'm sorry Clara isn't sleeping well. I know how that goes. Hunter woke up every 2 hours until he was about 1! Anyways, I will try to check in with my girls more often. I really miss you!!! (oh, btw I only had time to log in today because I've had a REALLY bad day and am protesting work at the moment )

Hey Melissa!!!!! It's so great to hear from you again! we Sure have all missed you so much! Well I ended up going to hospital yesterday because of the pain. Got there at 4pm and ended up leaving just after 11.30pm. Took lots of bloods, and urine, unfortunately I’m not PG boo hoo! They didn’t do any ultrasounds or x-rays because the doctor said that the pain I was experiencing is endometriosis related and that it’s probably getting worse. BUT Mandi got 2 shots of Morphine! Yeah!!! He he he Still feeling a bit groggy and out of it but I have my pain killers with me now. The good thing is that I went to the hospital where I’m having my op done and now I’m on file that I have come up with extreme pain so HOPEFULLY this may speed up the process and I get my op done sooner. I don’t think I can wait until November (which is what they originally said). I’m taking too much time off work Anyway, that’s it for me. I hope you're doing a lot better than me xxx

Melissa: I hope you are finding plenty of time to relax with all of the added responsibilities. Thanks for the congrats! We are really excited!
Bowersgirl: As for symptoms.... the major one was the fact that my nails were (and still are) really brittle and peeling. The only other time my nails were like this was when I was pregnant with Kailey. That started around 5 DPO. About 7DPO I started getting really tired. I was late as of 13 DPO, and a few days after that I started feeling "not hungry" I would almost forget to eat. Then I tested.... I was about 4 days late.
Mandi: I see you are on CD 13, but you tested..... I am confused, is your ticker wrong?
As for me.....It is hard to explain how I feel at this time. I am so unbelievably happy that we are going to have a baby. I am so nervous that something will happen and we will once again have a miscarriage. I am so positive that nothing will happen. I am so happy that I am constantly tired, moody, hungry, sick......
I know that all of this is normal, but I cannot wait until we have our first ultrasound and we see our little baby's heartbeat. We have an appointment scheduled for July 6th at 4:30, from what I understand I will have an internal exam and also have a sonogram so we can get to see our little baby. Seeing the baby's heartbeat and making it to the 9th week will do so much for my nerves!!!!
We had our first appointment on Tuesday, Mike and Kailey both came with. I basically just took a test and had some blood work done. It was very routine, but very exciting to get to see an official "BFP" at my Dr's office. I also weighed in and had my blood pressure checked and both my weight and blood pressure were perfect.
Our original goal was to have my exam and ultrasound done at Tuesday's appointment, but there was a very pregnant woman who was upstairs ready to push.... so our DR. had to cut the appointment short. Actually to everyone's surprise I was completely ok with that, the way I saw it was if we wait until my 8th week to see the baby then at that time we will definitely be able to see his heartbeat and he will even have his little arm and leg buds! On Tuesday he would have just looked like a dot and there was a chance that we would have not seen his heartbeat.
Before leaving the nurse gave us a ton of magazines, samples of drinks, snacks, stretch mark cream, & nursing pads, and about 30 brochures and books on pregnancy - if she only knew how many books we already had on this topic. That is fine we me though, I love to read.
I almost forgot... They gave me a prescription for Prenatal Vitamins, so no more Centrum with an extra does of Folic Acid. Anyway, the prenatals make me gassy... and when I burp it takes like popcorn. The nurse told me that was a side effect from these particular prenatals but I did not believe her until it happened!
Well... that is all for now. Please keep our little baby in your prayers!
Jacque
