Hey Girls ~
Just wanted to share some pictures of our new house. I don’t have before and after pictures of all the rooms so I am just adding the ones we have right now. Most of the rooms aren’t even finished yet but we got the paint on the walls and that was the biggest task.
Here is the B&A of the Dining Room:
Here are 2 B&A pictures of the Den:
Here is the B&A of the Spare Bedroom:
And Here is the B&A of the Nursery:

We also painted the kitchen white. We are going to do the kitchen and dining room in black & white. I think we are going to paint the doors of the kitchen cabinets black, take up the linoleum in the kitchen and put down black ceramic tile, paint our kitchen table and chairs black for the dining room, and add black and white photos on the dining room walls.
In the living room and hallways, we painted the walls a really pretty light nutmeg color and we are going to put up border in the living room. This is the border we are using:
In the den, we are going to paint the built in shelves the same blue color as the bottom of the walls in the nursery. We are hoping that it will bring out the blue in the wall paint. It looks white in the pictures, but it is really a light bluish gray color. We are also painting the molding at the top white because the old owners already painted ½ of it white and it looks stupid being ½ white and ½ brown.
In the nursery, we still have to put up the border, paint the shelves that go on the wall, and paint the closet doors and the back of the regular door (they are all still purple).
I will post pictures when we get that all finished.

Hello girls, OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, YIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, HALLELUIAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO FRICKIN' HAPPY I CAN'T EVEN STAND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JACQUE IS GONNA' BE A MOMMA AGAIN, YIPPIDY DOO DAH, YIPPIDY YAY, MY OH MY WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations hon, I can't believe it, and I'm so happy for you. I've been waiting to hear this for over a year. I'm crying in the public library I'm so happy. You soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo deserve this honey! I can't even imagine how Kailey and Mike took it. Tell me how you told everyone. I love to hear those stories. Did you test on Father's day after all? I'm so happy, oh my gosh. Can you tell? I can't wait to send you a baby gift too. Oh hon, yeah!!! What fantastic news. And you're gonna' be a member of green team. Hold strong to that b/c you will NEVER regret it. You might start thinking so toward the end of your pregnancy, but take it from someone who's done it both ways, it is SO MUCH BETTER to wait to find out the sex of the baby. I"m so glad that I did, and if I have another one, I will definitely wait. Oh, and my pg went by WAY faster this time. I can't even believe how fast. Well, just think how fast Emily's is going by. I can't wait to hear all about everything. How are you feeling? How many people have you told? Tell us more. Amanda- I hope you are off having your baby. I'm happy for you that you are going to be induced on Tuesday though. Finally an end in sight. YOu had your first naturally didn't you? I hope you can have Lexi naturally, but if not, C -sections aren't so bad. *I've had two. The first one was way easier than the second for me...and that's saying a lot b/c the first one was done after 31 hours of labor and two hours of pushing to no avail. Maybe I was so exhausted that I can't remember the first one? Anyways, either way, good luck sweety. Kris- Congratulations!!! Your baby is so beautiful. She does have a lot of hair, and I'm happy you got your wish for straight hair. I like curly hair personally...my hair is curly, and Yesi's has some curl. Abriyel's hair is curlier than both of ours, and I prayed and prayed that it would be if she was another girl. I LOVE those curls. I can't tell in the pic too much which of you I think she looks like, but be prepared for changes anyways. Abri looked like me when she was first born, and now she looks EXACTLY like her dad, and nothing like me. Boo hoo. But, that's actually good b/c my dh is so cute! Linda- Those pics turned out pretty good. She looks beautiful to me. I can't wait to see updated ones next time. I've never seen 3d ultrasound pics, so they look amazing to me. I can't believe those aren't considered good shots. I bet you can't wait to look at her face in person. Diane- How are you doing? I haven't heard from you for awhile. I hope your pg is going well. Jennifer- The house looks nice...way better with the updates. It is so fun to update houses. MY Dh and I have done so much to our house, it looks like a whole new world in there. The nursery looks really nice. Can't wait to see furniture in there. What are you going to name your baby if he/she is a boy/girl? Glad all is well, and CONGRATS AGAIN JACQUE! Alisha

Ok... I am so excited that I can barely sit still!!! I am freaking out right now... but in a good way. I called my DR's office today to tell them that I am pregnant and needed to make an appointment. I thought that they would want me to wait until I was about 8 to 12 weeks.... well, they want me to come in today!!!! PLUS I might even have a sonogram!!! How awesome is that. I am so excited that I could just puke!!!! I am so nervous!!! Please say a little prayer that all is perfect with my little bean.
The best part is that my tickers says that this is about the time that my little baby's heart starts to beat. How awesome would it be if I got to see the baby's heartbeat!!! I am soooooo exited!
Alisha: More updates later... I PROMISE!
Amanda: Good LUCK today girly!!!! I cannot wait to hear all about your labor and to see little Lexi's first photos!
I cannot even think now... hello and I love you to everyone else!

Hi girls. Well went to the doc's on Monday morning and she decided to induce me that day. Alexis Giovannina was born at 4:21 pm on June 19th after 6 hours of completely painless labor (literally). She weighed 8lbs 9.5 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. I'll write a better birth story when I'm not so tired and drugged up on pain meds (post partum pain has been worse than labor). What a fantastic 7th anniversary present for Alex and I! Thank you for all of the kind words and support.

Hey girls ~ Guess what?! We bought our crib yesterday!!! I am so excited. It isnt one of the ones I picked out before. BUT it matches the armoire we already have, it is a 3-in-1 which we wanted, and the price was right. K-Mart has all of their nursery furniture on sale for 10% off which made it like $124 with tax and everything. The cheapest one we were looking at before was going to cost us $177, plus tax, plus $70 for shipping. It is the same collection as the armoire we have, we bought it last year when it was on sale for $149. Here is a picture of it:
Edited to add picture of the armoire:

Amanda: Congrats again! I hope everyone is adjusting well to your new arrival! Kris: How are things going so far? How is Sara sleeping for you? Alisha: A ton of people are upset/disappointed that we are not finding out the gender, did you have this issue? If so what did you tell them when they told you they thought you should find out the gender??? Linda: Hi!!!! Diane: Where the heck are you? As for me....It is hard to explain how I feel at this time. I am so unbelievably happy that we are going to have a baby. I am so nervous that something will happen and we will once again have a miscarriage. I am so positive that nothing will happen. I am so happy that I am constantly tired, moody, hungry, sick...... I know that all of this is normal, but I cannot wait until we have our first ultrasound and we see our little baby's heartbeat. We have an appointment scheduled for July 6th at 4:30, from what I understand I will have an internal exam and also have a sonogram so we can get to see our little baby. Seeing the baby's heartbeat and making it to the 9th week will do so much for my nerves!!!! We had our first appointment on Tuesday, Mike and Kailey both came with. I basically just took a test and had some blood work done. It was very routine, but very exciting to get to see an official "BFP" at my Dr's office. I also weighed in and had my blood pressure checked and both my weight and blood pressure were perfect. Our original goal was to have my exam and ultrasound done at Tuesday's appointment, but there was a very pregnant woman who was upstairs ready to push.... so our DR. had to cut the appointment short. Actually to everyone's surprise I was completely ok with that, the way I saw it was if we wait until my 8th week to see the baby then at that time we will definitely be able to see his heartbeat and he will even have his little arm and leg buds! On Tuesday he would have just looked like a dot and there was a chance that we would have not seen his heartbeat. Before leaving the nurse gave us a ton of magazines, samples of drinks, snacks, stretch mark cream, & nursing pads, and about 30 brochures and books on pregnancy - if she only knew how many books we already had on this topic. That is fine we me though, I love to read. I almost forgot... They gave me a prescription for Prenatal Vitamins, so no more Centrum with an extra does of Folic Acid. Anyway, the prenatals make me gassy... and when I burp it takes like popcorn. The nurse told me that was a side effect from these particular prenatals but I did not believe her until it happened! Well... that is all for now. Please keep our little baby in your prayers! Jacque

Hello girls, Amanda- WOOHOO! I'm so happy for you that your little angel is finally here. What a surprise that she came second, huh? It must be a relief. Can't wait to hear your birth story. Is she just adorable? Kris- How are you doing? Abri likes to suck her fingers too when she's hungry. It's a nice sign for us mommies. How is Sara sleeping and adjusting to her new home. Are you nursing, or not? Jennifer- Your crib and armoire are just beautfiul. I bet you are so excited! I can't believe you are almost through your first trimester!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pregnancies just fly by for the people that aren't pregnant. Diane and Linda- How are you both doing? I haven't spoken to either of you in forever. Jacque- I'm still on cloud 9 about your pregnancy. I will keep your little bean in my prayers. Think positive thoughts, and before you know it, you'll be on to your second trimester, (like Jenn almost is...can you believe it?) I'm glad that all went well with your first appt. I'm glad they didn't give you any crap about weight, I hated that! It's like, do you think I'm a total idiot, I know I have some weight to lose, but I'm growing a little baby here, You JACKASS! I'm really happy for you again girl! What are you going to name your baby? I noticed that you are calling your baby a "he." You know, this board might just be bad luck for people who want boys. What do you think ladies? As for the people that were upset...the only one that was really disappointed about me not finding out the gender was my mom. She tried to bribe the ultrasound tech with $100 to tell her the sex, but it didn't work. She's such a dork. I just told people that we had already done it the finding the gender out first way, and this time we want to know what it is like to have a surprise. My mom was very disappointed the whole time I was pg, but it was SO WORTH THE WAIT!!! Don't give in to temptation girl, you will be so glad you waited, and you will thank me forever for encouraging you not to find out. It is such an amazingly magical moment that you will never forget in your lifetime. Ask the Doctor if your husband can tell you the sex instead of her. It is so much better that way. Although, if you have him naturally, you'll probably see first anyways. I don't have that luxury.
Everything's okay here, just chililng in the local library and writing to my online friends. I can't wait to get my new computer! Not much longer. Just think Jacque, by the time I'm buying my computer, you'll be about as far along as Jennifer! Abri is sleeping through the night pretty consistently, 6 or 7 hours, up for a bottle, and then another 5 or 6 hours. She also takes a 3-4 hour nap during the day, and a couple of catnaps here and there. She's a sleeping machine. Yesi is up to her usual adorable self. She's loving summertime, and all the "bunglebees." My dh had his last day of school today. I went in to work too from 7:30-3:30. It was weird being back at work even for a day. My mom bought me a 3 month membership to our local acquatic center for my 30th birthday present, which is coming up on July 7th. I'm excited b/c maybe it will help me get some of this baby fat off. *Still some left over from Yesi too. Ha!
Take care girls, Alisha

Well I've got a story for all of you to laugh at. But please dont laugh too hard!!!
It is a pathetic story, really. I was making some cinnamon muffins for DH and one of his friends. Well i mixed the batter up and poured it into the muffin pan. Right before I put them in the oven i realized that I forgot to spray the pan so they wouldnt stick. So I scrape all the batter out of the pan, wash the pan, dry the pan, AND pour thre batter back into the pan WITHOUT SPRAYING IT!!!! I just started bawling!!! Luckily, DH was right there and he took over and scraped the batter out again for me and washed the pan, dried the pan, SPRAYED the pan, and gave it back to me to put the batter in. What a day!!!!
