Hi ladies, how is everyone doing? The weather here is horrible it is like winter is just arriving rather than spring being just around the corner! Leon has been watching the weather report every morning hoping that we will get some snow where we live. I am glad to report that so far it has missed us!!LOL!! (I am so not a cold weather person).
Chrissy - how are you? I have just read your last couple of posts (trying to catch up as usual), I can't believe how quickly your adoption seems to be happening, although I am sure that for you and your DH it seems to be taking for ages. Well it shouldn't be too long before we are all looking at pics of your son/daughter!! x x x
Mel - How are you? Has the m/s left you yet? I hope you are feeling better than previous weeks! Leon is much better and has gone back to school this week. We are going to see about him having his tonsils taken out. He had had tonsilitis 8 times in the last two years and ended up in hospital with it last August as it was so bad. They need to come out before he misses too much of school! I'm feeling a little better, back to see the doctor tomorrow now I've finished the antibiotics but I'm still waiting for an appointment for the scan! x x x
Lissa - How you doing girly? Any futher plans regarding the move? Hope your not off line too long x x x

Nicola*** first I want to say I was leon when I was his age with the tonsils I had it all the time PUSS bubbles on them sick!! BUT COME TO FIND OUT" thats my bodys way of dealing with sinus's... they go right to my tonsils. SO I said well instead of going to the doctors every month... I went and looked at over the counter sinus meds' I found a couple that WORK great for my tonsils' but nothing leon can take because it knockes me to NIGHT NIGHT land' BUt it takes the swelling down the pain away, it stops the puss from forming! they never took my tonsils out, becasue they are there to fight my sinus's when they come' I'm PROUD TO SAY I HAVE not had an infection in my sinus sense I was 16 years old!!!!! but if they start hurting or acting up' I go and get sinus meds try it next time before you take them out!! because if the tonsils are not there anymore where in the infection going to go next time...LIVER...? then he will be more sick? tlak to your doc about it! seems crazy but ' it could be just sinus's? good luck.. move is on hold till summer! fixed the problem.. some how earthlink got deleted on my desktop? man I sooo missed my O date' it came early I think ..... CD 17 who knows???

Hi Lissa thanks for the advise but we had his sinuses checked out a few years ago and there is no problem. Leon has been under a ear nose and throat consultant since he was 3, he gets terrible nose bleeds and often ends up anaemic because of them! I know having his tonsils removed sounds quite drastic but its a very common procedure here in England. Kids usually get them removed if they get reaccurant tonsilitis at about Leon's age. It's probably due to the fact that we don't pay for healthcare so it's more cost effective (for the government) to remove them instead of keep paying out for antibiotics! It's not as common now though as it was when I was Leon's age, hardly any kids had their tonsils!!!! x x x

Nicola - sorry Leon is sick! Hopefully he will feel better soon. Lissa - glad you got your computer problems fixed. Nothing much new here. Trying to battle a cold that I had for weeks, but I don't think the weather is helping that. One day it is 60 then the next high in the 30's? ?

Hey girlies! How is everybody doing? Nothing new on my end. Nicola - They wanted to take my tonsils out when I was younger because I always got strep throat. I wish they would have now because I still get it at least once a year. ICK! Having your tonsils removed is still fairly common over here too. It's less stress on the body to take them out then to try to fight tonsilitis or strep throat, or what ever so frequently. Keep us posted on how the progress goes. We will pray for him! Lissa - Glad you got your computer problem fixed. Are you sure you missed your O? You have some pretty waco cycles, so you may not O until really late this time. Diane - Sorry you are fighting a cold. I know what you mean about the weather. I wouldn't hate the cold so much right now if it wasn't in the 60's in January. That little break gets you all excited for spring. Man, I can't wait to start wearing my cute maternity capris and slip on shoes. Drew - Hope all is going well with you! You need to update us on your progress. You are getting REALLY close! Chrissy - Call me! We haven't caught up in a while. Did you start all those meds? If so, how is it going? How is the beast from hell doing? Oh, did our pg friend have her baby yet? Enjoy (and don't mind the red mark my undies made hee hee). TTYL Well, here are some new belly pics from last night. Nate also felt the baby move last night. He was SO excited. Too cute!

Chrissy - LLL means La Leche League. It's a group formed specifically for breastfeeding support and information. It's a really awesome group. Here's a link ... www.lalecheleague.org/In specific here is the link for bf adopted babies www.lalecheleague.org/FAQ/adopt.htmlYou should check it out and contact a local group in your area.

Hey girls, just dropping in quick to let you know I am still alive lol, but feeling really crappy! I have low blood pressure issues....I'm blacking out and all that crap, and possible issues with anemia. I've spent the last week in bed mostly, just thanking God I'm almost done!! lol She is dropping, but so far she's still breech. Just crossing my fingers that I won't have to have a c-section. Glad everyone is well, and I'll get on to do more personals when I can....wish I had a lap top!

Hi girlies, well the snow finally got us here yesterday, Leon was so excited and so bloody cold when he eventually came in from playing outside in it! LOL! Well don't kids just say the cutest of the things. I picked Leon up from school yesterday and out of no where he says 'mum, I think you and dad should have another baby NOW'. I asked him why and he says because he wants a big family so there is enough people to look after each other in case anyone gets really poorly!!!! I think that stems from Rob's grandad dying recently as Leon was very aware of what was happening at the time and probably took more notice of how stressed and tired everyone was than I realised. Bless Him x x x x
Mel - Cute bump hunny!!! You look really well, I am so pleased for you. Make sure you look after yourself and that your DH spoils you very often!!! x x x
Chrissy - How mean is your MIL. I thought mine was bad (well she is really) but compared to yours there really is no comparison!! Try not to take it all to heart too much. You have a beautiful baby on the way and if your MIL can't be arsed to take part in that then she will miss out on her grandchild and all the happiness he/she is going to bring in to your lives!!! I'm sure you know that my SIL had a baby just before christmas, well my MIL sees that baby everyday and absolutely dotes on her, whereas I can count on one hand how many times she has been to see Lucas (she lives 5 min drive away). It does get to me a little but things were pretty much the same with Leon so I just find comfort in watching the bond building between my boys and my parents! Grandparents are important but only if they want to be x x x
Drew - so sorry you haven't been well. I too had problems with low BP and blacking out, just try to find time to relax, eat well and drink plenty of fluids. Well not long now, are you getting a little nervous. Baby still has time to turn, Lucas was breech until about 36 weeks, but I too worried about needing a section! Hope your feeling better soon x x x

hey girls nicola-very true! mil hates the fact that i am close with my family and she really isnt so she pushes too much and makes trouble. she told me not to hog or spoil my children and she wants to be able to hold them all day.....it is my child i will do what i want.....sha said people who spoil are insicure....she is crazy,lol......and she keeps saying when the baby comes make sure we dont leave her out, when my baby is here i dont have the time to worry if i am pleasing her. she has to get over this. how is everyone else doing? i am sick as a dog, i am waiting til my dr. comes in i think i have the flu! i go through sperts of feeling better then feel horrible again. and i dont know how much work i can miss but have no choice. anyway havent heard anymore news lately about our baby, so i will keep you posted, be back later to check in......
