Yes we use credit cards. We have 2 major credit cards and then a few cards that are for specific stores, such as GoodYear and Kay's.

We have 3 major cards left.... at one time we also had 5 store cards - but we are surely but slowly paying them off. We only use them now in case of an emergency or a sudden unforeseen expense (which thankfully does not happen often), but when we were first married we used them ALL of the time.

We used to have 3 major cards and like 4 or 5 store cards. We used them when we first got married (actually a few months before) to buy furniture, dishes, etc for our house since we had absolutely nothing given to us. Then we got it almost all the way paid off and we got hit with bills that DH's parents had in his name that they didnt pay, as well as having to put a new roof on the house we own in Ohio because his parents spent the insurance money on stupid things like new computers and tv and such. After that we got hit with a law suit for downloading music online and that was another $4,500 that had to go on a card because we didnt have the cash for it. We are slowly getting everything paid off, but it is taking awhile.

NO way! You were charged with downloading illegal music, that is insane. My husband is one of the people that speak out against it. In fact, he researches cases and even directs people to layers who take on these cases for free. That sucks that you had to go though that. So, how many songs were you charged for?

Yeah it does suck!!! The thing is we only downloaded like 10 songs. But we got charged for a ton because we had all of our music (that we had downloaded to our computer from CDs in the same folder and it allowed other people to download from us which we didnt know was happening). So they charged us for like 560 songs or something. It is a good thing we settled though because if we wouldnt have, they were going to try to take us to court to get $750 per song!!!! There is NO WAY we could have done that!!!!
