Linda: What wonderful news... over 5000!!! Congrats. So, how soon do they do the next ultrasound? Diane: I am so sorry it came as a complete surprise. The reason I asked is that I "knew" mine was going to happen. I cannot explain it, I just knew. So did a couple of other girls that I know. So ladies... be sure to add your next appointments to the calendar!!! Jacque

Yep, I had no spotting, no cramps, saw h/b at 6 weeks & still had nausea and everything. Mine was a missed m/c! Where the body was still nourishing the sac and didn't pick up on the baby wasn't alive any longer! =(

All my m/c's came as a surprise, although I think I pretty much new the 2nd one was gonna be. I went for a routine u/s at 7 weeks and the tech wouldn't say anything, so I explained to her that I already had a m/c and would she just tell me if there was a hb or not and she said "no there isn't" and it really didn't surprise me. The first, third and my 20 weeker really shocked me. My latest one I had high hopes but really didn't shock me that much when I started bleeding. I still had symptoms and everything for all of them, the only time I noticed my symptoms dissapper was after my first one and I was bleeding and before we knew anything the nurse asked me if I still had my symptoms, so I touched my bb's and noticed they weren't sore anymore and I knew that wasn't good. Jacque - I may get an u/s on Thursday at my first OB appt, but I'm not counting on it. I'm gonna ask if I can to see if there is a fetal pole yet, but not sure if he'll give in to me. Diane - when I had my blighted ovum, my levels were still rising, but slowly and I still had all my symptoms too, so I coudn't imagine that no baby would grow. It was another hard one! I've had so many different ones that each time is a new experience that I wish I just didn't have, lol!

Linda: Your ticker is gone, you really need to fix that... I so love watching the baby move from box to box in those tickers. I cannot wait until Monday, I hope you get an ultrasound. Just think, you are almost halfway done with the first trimester! Diane: I am so sorry, I could not imagine what a shock that was. Like Amanda ( and everyone else who has had a m/c) I am sure you will relax and completely enjoy your pregnancy after the first trimester is over. Have fun at Alexanders!!!! Not much new here. I have completely stuck with my work out routine and I have lost a little over 6 pounds in two weeks. I am still making sure I am eating enough and drinking a ton of water. It has actually been easy. I just need motivation, and that little ticker in my siggy works, I love seeing it move! The only thing is that I am not sure if I should keep exercising during the TWW. I know that it is ok for people who are used to working out to continue to work out while pregnant... but what about me? lol It is a low impact workout, I do two of them twice a day... I am thinking about only doing it once a day during the tww and then every other day once I get a BFP... what do you think? I hope all is going well, I will talk to you soon! Jacque

Jacque - I didn't even know the ticker was gone! LOL! I'm on dial up until our DSL starts working and all the pictures take too long to load, so I don't even look, lol!
So, I took my first heparin shot today, it's not too bad! DH stuck me in the rear and it didn't even hurt!
Also, I laid down on my belly on the floor just now to play with Luke and my belly was hard already!

Linda: WooHoo for the hard belly! That is so exciting. --- I am glad the shots did not hurt. How long is the needle? I would not be able to give them to myself, Mike would have to do it. I am to much of a baby. I even give blood to the Red Cross. They make fun of me when I come in because I whine the entire time the are doing it... but I still come back. I just cannot pass up the opportunity to help someone else...... --- Thanks for fixing your ticker... it says that the baby's heart is now beating! Wow, your baby has been busy this week! Anyway... I am glad things are going so well for the both of you. I hope I can join the wonderful world of pregnancy soon! Jacque

Linda - glad the Heparin shot didn't hurt. How long do you have to use them? I am on my progesterone for 12 weeks and hten Metformin for 13 weeks then I hope to be drug free! Jacque - if it is low impact you should be fine. My doctor said anything is fine expect jumping jacks/jumping rope since it is a continius hard motion.

Thanks Diane! I feel great since I have started working out on a daily basis.... and I honestly feel that it would be ok to keep doing so. A mommy who is working out is alot better then a mommy who just sits around all day right? Plus since I am over weight I know I could lose weight and still be good during pregnancy. Thanks again for your input! Jacque

I just didn't want you to feel like you had to stop working out. My doc also mentioned not running on a treadmill but walking fine. It is just hte constand hard motion over and over that he recommended not starting. So I can't see your ticker anylonger either??? so do you have your FF chart in your signature? ?

Here are my tickers.... they are both in my siggy and are linked back to my chart. Can you see anyone's signature?
Thanks again for the workout encouragement, I do not want to stop either. I feel awesome. But at the same time I do not want to do anything that would jeopardies a pregnancy. It all goes back to the fear of another m/c. Jacque

Diane - I believe I'll have to do the heparin until 10 weeks.
Jacque - I think you can work out in the 2WW, my doc always told me to continue the exercise I had been doing, throughout a pg, just don't make it more intense.
Well, so far there's a gest sac and a yolk sac, no fetal pole or HB yet, I'm getting a little nervous, I do remember not seeing a HB yet when I was pg with Luke and we saw one at 7 weeks, but I can't remember if there was a fetal pole or not. I go back next Thursday for another u/s, we should definitely know by then! Keep little bubble in your prayers!

I wouldn't worry yet, they say the h/b starts in the 5th week, but my doc says he never checks before 6 weeks because it is rare to pick it up earlier than that. all is OK!

I just found out one of my friends is 35 weeks pregnant. She kept it a secret this long because she was having ALOT of complications. I am so happy for her. Now I know why she has been to "busy" to keep our dinner dates! She is going to be induced in two weeks... and we do not know what she is having. I love the fact that more and more people are keeping their baby's gender a surprise. I think we are going to do the same thing!
This weekend we have a birthday party, the super bowl party, Kailey's First Reconciliation, Kailey's Pom Pom clinic, Church (three times), and I have to get some groceries... I hope I have time to relax... lol
How is everyone else today?
Linda: I pray everything is perfect with your bean. I know waiting is tough. I cannot wait until you hear that heartbeat I know it will help you relax!
Jacque
