Hi girls, how is everyone's day going? It is soooo hot here today, if the weather forcast is right today is going to be the hottest day in July since 1911! Yesterday was almost as hot, part of the road outside MIL's house melted and collapsed! I so wish I wasn't working tonight, there's no air con at the hospital (can you believe that!) and the nights haven't been much cooler then the days so it's so tiring working in this heat. Also the ward I work on is on the ground floor and we can't have any doors open for security reasons!! This country is so NOT prepared for weather like this!!!
Lissa - how's the ouse coming on hunny? I'm sure it's keeping you busy LOL!! My dad is coming to tile the kitchen tonight, I can't wait until it's finished then I can get some more order in there x x x
Chrissy - Will you hurry up and have this baby!!LOL!! Only joking, I'm sure you feel as though you are going crazy but hang on in there she won't be much longer x x x
Mel - Glad to hear your all prepared and ready for baby. Was Hunter early or late? x x x
Diane and Drew - where are you girls? x x x
Can you believe I forgot to sign in again LOL!!!!!

Ladies: Aalissa is no longer a member of the Chatter box. She has just posted a nasty post in regards to several of the members (including the ladies on the board) and how she feels about them. This post along with her account has been deleted and she has been notified about how I feel. If you would like to see the original post I will send you a PM.
Thanks for your understanding.

nicola - the babysitting would have been OK, if the boy wasn't autistic. but he had no manners and was mean, very needy and I just couldn't keep up. I worked Monday and Wednesday but Tuesday's was just a rest day. When Jacob started getting bad behaviors from the boy I know it was over, then had no energy to clean the house, $30 a day wasn't worth it, KWIM? Just was causing me stress and less sleep, so just wasn't the right time.

Hi ladies, hope you are all well. I have been at Leon's school this morning watching him in his sports day, his team came in 2nd. Leon got a medal for helping the samller children, I'm so proud of him! Also I got his end of school year report. WOW I will be spoiling him rotten for how well he has done this year. He always works hard and really enjoys school but it is nice to read what his teacher thinks of him, his abilities and especially his behaviour! Yes you got it, I'm glowing with pride!!!!!
Chrissy - glad you got Kira's room finshed, it shouldn't be too long now before she is sleeping in it!! x x x
Diane - Good to hear from you. I know it gets difficult finding time to post I'm the same now I'm back at work. Sorry the babysitting didn't work out but looking after a child with autism is diffiult at the best of times especially when your pregnant and have children of your own!
I too am sorry to see Lissa leave, I didn't see the post either. But hey I'm not going anywher, I love you girls I really feel as though we are all friends! x x x

Nicola - good to hear you will stink around, me too. Yeah, you are right dealing with the boys autism would be hard no matter what, but it was OK until I saw Jacob showing he was learning behaviors, then I was like no way, not a month from a new baby arriving. I could deal with some things, but the physical violence was getting to me. he knows better also, because he just waits until you leave the room, so it wasn't like he didn't understand it was wrong on the great report from Leon's teacher, that really makes a momma proud!

Thanks Diane you are right Leon has made me proud! I don't blame you for stopping the babysitting once Jacob started displaying similar behaviours that is the last thing you need happening, new baby or not. I have just realized how soon you are due! I can't believe how quick everyone's pregnancies are going, apart from Chrissy's !!LOL!! I'm sure it seems quick as we don't actually see each other and just post whenever we can. WOW just think in the space of a couple of months there will be 3 new mummies, it is soooooooo exciting! x x x

hi girls! you have me laughing so much!!!!! man i wish kira would get here already too!lol......today at church our pastor said he saw me looking at all the babies and said i must be thinking where mine, so he said if he could give me a hug! it was sweet!!!!!!! we are just having some company for dinner today, and keeping busy! we are afraid to go away they tell us dont then tell us no news we are so confused and crazy!lol.... well i have a situation and could use your advice, friday, we invited some friends over, i cooked a great meal, and 15 minutes before they were due over, they cancelled, i have all this food and she is closest with me and didnt even call she had her dh do it, so my dh felt bad when i called him on the road and came home with wine and flowers and we spent a nice evening. now they said they didnt want the rain to make thier baby catch a cold, they live a mere 4 blocks from us! and were driving, so now i am hurt it is a few days and no appology or call form her, and thats why we invited some friends today not to waist all the food. then her remark was well you will understand when you have kira home, we are parents and are concerned, it is 90 degrees out and a little rain, she is very parinoid and doesnt let anyone near her son! we think she is going to make him a cookoo!!!!well how would you apporach this? thanks girls, hugs chrissy

Chrissy - that is rude of your so-called freind. If they live that close, and were true friends I believe they would have came. 15 minutes until dinner is extremely rude I would never use that excuse or less the baby was really young like 6 weeks/under and in the winter time, but 90 and a little rain - use an umbrella Jacob was a winter baby and I would say he was out probably more than he should.
And has it rained for the last 4 days, she could have said I feel so bad for calling so late, why don't we try today if you have time. if not, I probably would think we weren't really friends or that close
