Ok, I have a confession to make. I did not want you all to think I was crazy... but the last two test I took (yesterday and the day before that) were digital... well, I used a digital test. If you have used them you know that when you eject the test stick there is this part that looks like a "normal" pregnancy test... well both times there were two lines. So, I did some research, and as it turns out digital test check for TWO hormones the HCG and LH. I did not think much of it, because it seems I always have a line on a test that involves LH... but on peeonastick.com they show test that said "not pregnant" but the test stick had two lines like mine did... those people ended up being pregnant. I am not putting to much stock into it... but AF is not here and has no signs of showing. BUT also, I have been taking B6 which lengthens your lutal phase (only one pill though, which was about 50 mcg or mg.. I cannot remember, but it was the smallest dose I could find.), so that might be why she is not here yet... just wanted to fill you in on my pyhcosis... lol Amanda: I hope things are going well... I am in need of a pregnant update. They always keep my hopes up!!! Kristina: Thanks for all of your kind words, yesterday was awful... I was in need of a boost! -- Have you bought any pink things yet?

Hi girls!
Jacque-I was fooled by one of those digital tests once myself. They are not like a regular pg test-they always have 2 lines. I think peeonastick.com is where I found out that info. But that doesn't mean you're not pregnant. You are testing early, so if no AF yet I wouldn't give up hope. Esp if your LP is going to be a bit longer this month-you may still be too early!!! I'll have my fingers crossed. As for a pregnancy update-I am still pregnant (LOL). I would say I'm about as big now as I was at 7 months with Abbie and I have all the late pg symptoms to go along with my big belly. I've been having a few Braxton Hicks contractions everyday, esp if I've been lugging myself up and down the stairs. I feel the baby move a lot more now, although it's not as active as Abbie was. That would be okay because I could use a less "high energy" baby. As for my US, I have no idea. DH was supposed to call me today while Abbie was at preschool so that I could go in but I didn't get a call. He was probably too busy. His job has been extremely sh*tty lately and he's been working at least 12 hours a day for the last 2 weeks. Too bad he's on a salary-or we'd be rolling in money-then maybe I wouldn't care so much if he wasn't home cause I could go shopping!!! Just kidding.
Kristina-Did you pick a name for your little girl yet?
Love and sticky babydust! Amanda

Amanda: as soon as I read your boys name I instantly remembered you telling me about it! I love it, and the fact that you are using a family name is so cool. That is why our babies middle name will be Louis, all the first born sons on Mike's side of the family have Louis for a middle name!!! As for your girls names... I agree, April Riley does have too many of the same letters. But I love Alyson Grace!!!! --- I think Kailey would love something like Dragon Tales live, I need to check out ticket master and see what is playing in our area... do you really think Abbie has ADD? Well, AF is here. So cheers to a new cycle. I am actually feeling very very optimistic because I just figured it out, and my due date (if we get a BFP this cycle) would be on HALLOWEEN!!!! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, plus I would be able to dress the little one up for Halloween, well.. if he was born a few days early! Anyway, thanks for all of your love and support, it means so much to me! So... let my BFP cycle begin, I am charting again this month so you can obsess with me!!! Jacque

I added my weight loss ticker to my siggy. I want you ladies to cheer me on when I am doing good, and give me a hard time when I am not. I hope that seeing the ticker every day will help keep me on my toes. I am being smart about weight loss, do not want to do anything that can hurt me or a little on one the way. --- The 5.2 pound loss is from the beginning of January until today. Jacque

Amanda: It's so weird knowing that we are having a girl and referring to her as our daughter. I can't wait to see what she looks like. I really hope she doesn't get my curly hair because I hate it so much.
So are you getting very anxious on finding out the sex yet? Tell me what Braxton Hicks feels like I don't know? One of my friends at work experienced that with 2 of her pregnancies and had to go out on leave because of it. She had it really bad.
Jacque: I'm so sorry AF show her ugly face but you can look at it as fresh start for the New Year. I will be here for you if you need me and to obsess with you. Good luck to you and lots of Babydust
Here are the names we picked so far for our girl:
Sara Rachael Kaplan or Samantha (we didn't pick a middle name yet)

Kristina: I really like the name Samantha! Sara is cure also. So, are these family names, or just names you picked out because you like them?

Hi girls, Amanda, I've been looking all over the place for you to find out what you were having, since you werent checking in on your "vote" pole. Congrats on the baby girl! I'm so excited for you. As you already know, girls are such a gift from heaven. It's driving me nuts not knowing what I'm having, but I only have 7 weeks left until Dday, so I guess it's not so bad. Yeah right! Well, congrats!!! Alisha

Good morning ladies! Well I am still somewhat in shock after realizing that I will have 2 girls. I've told Alex a hundred times that I DO realize that I'm pregnant, but it just doesn't seem real that I'm going to have a baby. It was the same way with Abbie. It didn't really hit me that I had a baby until we brought her home from the hospital. I know it's going to change my life so drastically that I can't even fathom what it will be like.
Kristina- I LOVE the name Sara. As for Braxton Hicks contractions they are a tight pulling sensation, pretty uncomfortable, but NOTHING like real labor contractions. I never understood people who went to the hospital becasue they "thought" they were in labor only to find out that they were having Braxton Hicks contractions. When your real labor starts there will be NO DOUBT that it's the real deal. At least that's how it was for me. Also Braxton Hicks go away if you drink some water and put your feet up for a few minutes. Real labor pains don't go away.
Jacque-Congratulations on your new cycle. A Halloween baby would be fun! Then every year on his/her birthday you could have a Halloween party. I don't really think Abbie has ADD. I think she is just high energy. She doesn't really have the temperment of an ADD child (I looked it up). I actually read a really interesting article by a woman who is a child devlopment expert who said that parenting a regular child is hard a lot of the time, parenting an ADD child is hard ALL of the time. I think I am just so tired from this pregnancy that everything seems to be amplified (including Abbie's bad behavior). And to tell the truth, comparing her to other kids, she is not that bad. She has her moments, but generally she is pretty good. It's just that those moments seem to be more frequent lately (or it could just be that they are bothering me more lately cause I'm so tired).
Love and sticky babydust! Amanda

Amanda: I was right, I am never right... wow, maybe I will be right and Alisha will have a Boy!!! -- I agree, I have no clue how people mistake Braxton Hicks for real contractions. That is insane. Then again, I do not remember having Braxton Hicks with Kailey... but I sure do remember the real thing. lol -- I am gald that you do not really think Abbie has ADD. Now a days it seems like so many people jump the gun and medicate their child because they think that they need it. Do not get me wrong, some kids do... but alot of them on Meds do not need them at all......
Kristina: What's new and exciting?
So... since you are both having girls I wonder if I will also be joining team pink, or if team blue will be in my future!

Amanda: I also added the Team Pink blinkie and your new ticker to your info on the Cycle Day Tracker. this is so exciting!!!! --- What does Abbie think about the baby being a girl? That is awesome that you do not have to buy much.... but then again shopping is so much fun, and they have so many new things out now that were not out when Abbie was little.... So, does this mean you will be starting the nursery soon? Do not forget before and after photos! Jacque
