Hi girls, I hope you like my new doll. I made a WAY cuter one on pregnantdollmakers.com, but I couldn't get my printscreen button to work, so I couldn't follow the directions. Bummer! Alisha

Hey, girls! Nothing much to post except that my dd has croup...ughh. So sad. So we're home for a few days until she gets better. Just thought I'd let you know that I've got major cramps tonight. Too early for implantation I think, but maybe? Hope you're both doing awesome! Alisha--I'm ecstatic to see you're little bean! Sooo precious! And I love the pics of your family! That ultrasound pic really makes it seem real now! (As if it wasn't???) Hope you're doing well! Jacque--where are you girl? em

Ok, so I finally have time to sit here and type a "me update" I hope that this is not forever long.. last time my fingers started to cramp by the time I finished typing. So I go get my mail today, and I have a baby book and two cans of formula waiting for me... it is almost Trent's due date and everyone is mailing me things! I am getting diapers, wipes, baby bath... and tons of coupons! WooHoo! Do not get me wrong, I am still a little sad about Trent... but now I have all of this stuff for our next baby. Most of the coupons do not expire for almost a year.. and I KNOW I will be pregnant by then. I also found out my cousin Aimee is pregnant with her first, right now she is almost 24 weeks. She is just now telling people. This was not planned, and it took her a while to come to terms with it but I know in the long run she will be a good mom. I wish she would have gone to the doctor and living a "pregnant" lifestyle sooner... but I can not live her life for her and I hope with my cousin Terri she will start taking better care of herself. She is with the father and in fact they will be getting married 2 months after the baby is here. They have had the wedding date set for over a year now and they are madly in love so I know all will be just fine..... I feel awful though because I could not help but think why she got pregnant so easily and how I have to try for so long... but I am over that now and am now looking forward to a new member of our family! My last big volunteer project is this weekend... then it is smooth sailing! Thank God! I feel so much more relaxed now that I cut back on my meetings, writing for the paper etc. I am also not temping, using OPK's or checking cervical mucus this month. My cycles are very very regular, and I know that I will be ovulating within the next 72 hours! This is also helping me relax... it is nice not having to worry about charing and how my temps look. I hope that I can stay this relaxed during the TWW. I am really looking forward to testing! I hope this is it! We had Kailey's parent teacher conferences this week, and she is just the perfect little student! lol They had nothing bad to say, she is great in class and she is getting A's in all of her classes... even Spanish! WooHoo. She also has a tumbling meet this weekend. When we get back I will post photos from it... I am thinking about doing her hair a bit different this time... any suggestions? THE BABY"S ROOM IS ALMOST COMPLETE!!!!!! I am so happy. We moved the furniture in there on Monday and it looks so cute. The site has been updated with photos... so be sure to check it out! www.geocities.com/kaileysmom2000/ The dresser was so heavy. It took us a year and a half to get it upstairs... but it was well worth it. I was so happy when the furniture was up their that I actually cried. Thanksgiving is going to be awesome, Donnie is coming over and we are going to eat!!! WOOHOO I love to eat on Thanksgiving! I swear I have enough food for an army, and there is only 4 of us. My turkey is 20 pounds!!!!! Then in honor of Jennifer we are going shopping the day after Thanksgiving. I have started my shopping, but I only have a few things.... so I better get spending! Ok, that is all for now... be sure to check out the baby site and let me know what you think! Now that this is done... I am going back to read your posts and get completely caught up! Jacque

Alisha: I was on that pregnant doll maker site, and I cannot get it to work! I wanted to make me a pregnant doll.. just for fun, you know for when I get that BFP!!! I found another site similar to it... but the outfits were not as cool. I really like the kachi bib overalls that they had! - 17 weeks pregnant and she is just now telling! She has some major will power. That is cool that you know people that are pregnant at the same time you are, it makes it so much fun... that is why I better get that BFP before you give birth! - I voted for your baby name... but it does not matter, I think you are having a boy.... - Has your hubby or daughter felt the baby move yet? Does your daughter understand (as much as a little one can) what is going on? Is she super excited? Emily - WooHoo I love the photos of your daughter! Now, how about some of you and your hubby! That way I can put a face with your posts! I am so sorry that your daughter is sick, I hope she feels better soon. Major cramps, huh? So how many DPO are you? I am on CD 13.. I will O any day now. Hopefully we will both get BFP just in time for Chirstmas! WooHoo! Love and hugs! Jacque

Hey Jacque, I have a suggestion for Kailey's hair. Have you ever done an upside down french braid? They are SO fun. You have her bend over with her head between her legs and yours. Then french braid from the bottom of her scalp, upwards. When you get toward the top, you tie it all into a pony tail. From there, you can take a curling iron, and curl the pony into little ringlets. It is soooooooo adorable when complete, and I promise you will get a TON of compliments. You can also put baby's breath in it afterwords. Like weaving it. I am the braiding queen of America! I love to french braid, and have been doing it since I was about 5 years old. I used to braid every girl on my dance team's hair in high school for dance competitions. So, I have a lot of suggestions. I REALLY think you'll like her hair like that! Let me know what you think. alisha

Hello girls, Jacque-Thanks for voting for my baby name. I responded to your message over there. Yes, my husband and my daughter have both felt the baby kick. I can't believe I'm 22 weeks tomorrow. Time is just FRICKIN' FLYING by. I'm sure I won't be saying that come about 37 weeks. Yesenia is thrilled about the baby. Not an hour goes by that she doesn't say, "I'm gonna' have a baby brother." She tells strangers in the store that she's having a baby brother. It is so funny. The other day when I went to pick her up from daycare, one of the moms said to me, "So I hear you're having a baby boy." I was like, "Well, I'm not sure, but I'm thinking it's possible." She started cracking up and said, "Well, your daughter is convinced. She told me that she was having a baby brother, and when I asked what his name was going to be, she even said, "Kyden." Isn't that hilarious! She's so determined that this baby is going to be a boy, and she even says the next one will be a girl. (She knows we're planning on having 3 children.) She also tells me every single day that she's going to change baby brother's diapers, and that baby brother is going to play in her pink bedroom with her. She is very smart for her age. It must be kind of tough getting those baby things in the mail. I'm glad you're being positive about it since you can use the materials for your new baby that is on the way. I forgot how to get my name on those lists for free stuff. I should do that. Congrats on your newest family member being on the way. I can't believe she was able to wait until 24 weeks! Man, you could tell I was pregnant by about 12 weeks! I think you're making a good decision to cut back on the charting and temping stuff. Maybe that will be the answer for you! Kailey sounds like a little star. I wish I could be her teacher. She is in 2nd grade, right? I'm teaching 5th this year. It is my 2nd year with this group of kids. They are so excited about the baby too. I have been praying for Kailey to get her Christmas present that you're working on. Emily-I hope you are well. Where are you at now in your cycle? I'm sorry you're not feeling well hon. Maybe this is it for both of you! Love, Alisha

Have you ever done an upside down french braid? Upside down French Braids look so beautiful... one problem though, I cannot french braid. I want to learn, but no one I know (other then you) knows how to do it. If I could figure out how to French Braid I know that the upside down thing would just be perfect! Jacque

Alisha: Ok, I have a question... how do you pronounce Yesenia? Is it just how it looks... Yes en ia? I think it is so unbelievable cool that she is so excited. So, who gave her the idea that you were having a boy? lol I sounds like daughter and mommy are on the same page when it comes to wanting a boy!
Emily: Hi! Happy Wednesday!

Ok ladies... first things first, I have a question. How many days before O do you get EWCM? The reason I ask.... Tuesday night I had these intense cramp like pains, I went to the bathroom and - for lack of better words - my vagina felt HUGE, the canal that is... I felt like I was gaping.... lol. So, I did a cervical exam and had TONZ of EWCM, we are talking a gross amount. Plus my cervix was open.... that was CD 13, I usually O on CD15 or CD16. So, is that how it works for you... open cervix and EWCM first... and then Ovulation OR does it happen at the same time... if so, maybe I ovulated early. Either way, I am in the TWW, today is CD 15 and my cycle is only 13 more days long!!!! I will baby dance tonight and tomorrow night just to be sure we have our bases covered. For 15 days I managed not to take my temp, chart, or completely obsess about being pregnant... hopefully my will power will keep up and I can wait until i am late to test!
I have my test day wrong.... I said the second of December. I will be on CD 28 on November 30th so I will test then.
The next week is going to be so busy for us.... I will do this in a time line form, it will be easier for me to keep it all strait!
Friday 18th: Work and set up for the kids workshop for the Bazaar at Kailey's School Saturday 19th: The Bararr and we are going to see Harry Potter with friends of ours. Sunday 20st: Kailey has a tumbling meet and we might try to get some shopping done. Monday 21nd: I am going to get the rest of the stuff needed for Thanksgiving. Tuesday 22rd: AOH meeting Wednesday 23th: I am going to Bake Pies and do some prep work for the big meal Thursday 24th: We will have any where from 4 to 15 people over for Thanksgiving.... I am so excited. We will eat, watch football, watch Christmas movies, and eat some more all day! Friday 25th: Black Friday!! WOOHOO!!! We are shopping! Saturday 26th: Mike's Parents are coming over and we are going to decorate the house. Sunday 27th: Decorate the outside and Church Monday 28th: Tumbling Practice Tuesday 29th: AOH Meeting Wednesday 30th: TEST DAY!!!!
Mike got a major promotion at work today, he was moved from the shop to the office!!! He got a good raise and will receive quarterly bonuses for his accomplishments! WOOHOO I am so happy. His hours will change for the better, more money, less work! Heck, this is perfect!
We also got a new used car this weekend.... Mike's old junker finally bit the dust, it still runs, but it no longer stops. He has managed to keep that thing alive 10 years longer then a normal person would have. Thank God he is a mechanic or we would have spent an arm and a leg keeping it alive that long. lol Anyway we got an 86 Thunderbird.... it is old, but cool and it will more then work for what we need it for... which is just getting him back and forth to work!!
So what do you ladies have planned for Thanksgiving?
Tall to you all soon!
Jacque

Wow Jacque, You are a posting machine today. I can't wait for HP!!!!!!! I'm going to get tickets on Fandango tonight for the 7:00 showing tomorrow. Yesi is going to her abuela's house. Hey, I just noticed that I just switched to a TTC professional. How funny, I was just about to ask how many posts it takes. Okay, as for your questions... Yesenia is pronounced like this (Yes-en-ya) Does that help? Alot of people pronounce it incorrectly, like saying Yes-en-ee-a. That's not correct. Also, the middle syllable is the stressed syllable. It is like Yes-EN-ya. I think it's really pretty. As for the who got it in her head that she's having a boy, well, she's just thought that from the very beginning. She really wants a brother. I honestly don't care what I have though. I don't know if I ever told you, but I have 7 brothers and no sisters. I REALLY wouldn't care if I had ALL girls. I love my little girl sooooooooooooooo much, that I'd love to have another one. Besides, I really love the name Abriyel now. Speaking of, go check out my response to the name poll. I don't want a boy any more than I want a girl, I just think I'm having a boy. Does that make sense? OH MY GOSH, MY DAUGHTER IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STINKING FUNNY! You won't believe what she just said to me. She has been whining for a few minutes, and all of a sudden she said, "Ouch!" I said, "What's wrong sweety?" and she said, "My tummy hurts, will you please come kiss my booty?" You see, she's having issues with constipation b/c we're potty training. She's sooooooooooo dang funny! I'm soo happy for you guys about the promotion. That's great news. What is AOH? Congrats on the new car! I am excited for next Tuesday. I don't school on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, so 5 day weekend HERE I COME. Then, it's only 2 more weeks until Christmas break. I can't wait! Then, only a couple of months until my little sweety is here! Well, update on my pregnancy. I'm finally swelling. My feet were killing me, and I went and sat down, took off my socks, and low and behold, my feet were the size of clubs. Also, my legs were swollen. It was AWFUL! I feel like a sponge that is overflowing. Okay, as for the EWCM, I usually got it the day before, or the day of o, and when I was pregnant, I kept getting it during the 2ww. It was weird. I hope that happens to you this time! Take care girlfriend! Alisha

Hey, girls!! How's it going?? Did you guys see Harry Potter yet??? I was supposed to go to the 10:30 showing last night with some friends, but I just can't stay up that long these days. Well, things over here are going well. I have been POSITIVE that I'll be pregnant this month because of the clomid and our bd'ing. But, of course, I gave in and took a test this morning, 10 dpo and it was BFN. What is wrong with me??!!! Oh well. I'm really hoping this is the month, though. Work is still super crazy. But, I've got the whole week off from one of my jobs. This is exciting though, I'm going to be starting a whole new job (in the same area) in the middle of December. I'll be the special events coordinator for the children's ministry at my church, which is where I work right now. The pay is 3 times what I've been making at the preschool. Woohoo! And the hours will still be 20 hours a week. I will be in charge of planning events like fall fun fest, christmas program, vacation bible school, easter egg hunt, skating parties, etc. I'm extremely nervous, because it's a lot of responsibility...fall fun fest this year we had 4000 people! But, it'll be fine I feel sure. It's just going to be a learning curve. Anyway, it's really exciting! My dd has been WAYY sick which is why I haven't written lately. On Monday, she had croup. She also had a yucky nose, so he started her on an antibiotic. Well, on Wednesday night, her fever was back and she couldn't sleep unless she was on me or my dh's chest. (Very out of character...my girl is a great sleeper). So, Wednesday we took her back to the doc and her croup has turned to bronchitis, she has a major ear infection, she's anemic. She had to get an antibiotic shot and a new prescription. Ughhh. She felt so bad! She had 102.75. Bless her heart. Anyway, Jacque--I can't wait for you to test!!!!! Soooooooooo exciting! I agree with Alisha, I get ewcm right before ovulation. Alisha-I love the sound of your daughter's name. It really is beautiful! What is your boy's name again? I know you've told me, but I forgot. Sorry. I agree with her, you're having a boy!!! I just know it! I'm sorry, girls! I gotta run, my dd is crying. Love you gals!!! Happy Thanksgiving! em

Hey girls, Em, It was so good to hear from you again. I'm so sorry about your little girl. Poor thing! I'm sure she'll get better really soon. Yes, I went to see HP on Friday at 8:45. I ordered tickets on Fandango on Thursday night, and they were all sold out except for the 8:45 showing. The seats were all filled, and the line was huge by 7:45 already! It was pretty good. I really wonder how they're going to pull it all together though, b/c they left a lot of stuff out! As for names, If I have a boy, his name will be Kyden Serge, and if it is a girl, we're seriously considering Abriyel Gracyela-Margueritte. I think it's very pretty and it means "openness". My husband and I are very open minded people, so it fits well. Congrats on the job, that's fantastic! Sounds like a ton of fun if you ask me! The extra pay will be nice too. So, you'll only have one job then, right? That would be so nice, especially since you're going to find out your pregnant really soon! I'm getting really excited about the baby. I can't believe I'm almost 23 weeks along. The time is flying by. I can't wait for the baby to get here! Yeah, I think I'm having a boy too. Time will tell. Well, take care girls, and Happy Thanksgiving to you too! P.S. Jacque, I can't wait to hear about your BFP this month!
