Well, my shower was great!!! We had so many people come. Kailey did a great job at playing hostess. She helped me get the food ready (I would not let her cut anything up.... still paranoid about her using a knife) and she also decorated. We got a ton of outfits, blankets, toys, and some diapers, wipes and bottles. We have gotten several additional gifts in the mail and from friends who have not been able to make it. So, we still have a big pile of gifts in the kitchen. We are going to leave it there until Right before Christmas then we will take photos and put it away..... no sense in doing it now!!! Plus I need to get Garrett's baby book so I can write down who go what so i do not forget! I really appreciate getting so many gifts, we have all of the "big" things, but needed so many little things.... it was great to get so many things we needed!!!
Does anyone else keep a baby book for their kids? If so, where did you get yours??? Also.... what did your birth announcements look like? I think i asked this before, but for the life of me cannot remember if anyone answered me! LOL thats what happens when you have a group of women with new baby and pregnant brain, no one can remember anything!
My last appointment went well, I am still measuring four weeks ahead, and so is Garrett. So, we are still waiting to see what happens. In a way I was hoping he would level off, but nope... still growing right on target for a January birthday. I am excited/scared that he might be here early. The last thing I want is for him to have to be in the NICU..... especially since I am positive of his conception date. So, we are still playing the waiting game. I am still having appointments every two weeks, once a week appointments will not start until mid-january.... our next appointment is right after Christmas, so from there we will find out what the game plan is. If he is still measuring big we will start seriously talking about having him early. Especially since at that time he will be the size of a 36 week baby, even though I will only be about 32 weeks pregnant. I am fine with him coming two weeks early, anymore then that is just well..... to early, what do you all think?

Hello all, Jacque, What does LIL mean? I saw you wrote "LIL". Yeah, I'm totally FREAKING OUT!!! There's still no sign of AF, and I'm like, majorly late. I haven't had a normal period in over 45 days! That is totally not like me! As for the baby announcements, both of my girls were in different outfits...you remember Abri's with her little, "Luck of the Irish" shirt and ST. Patrick's day bear. It also had her full name and birthdate, weight and height typed on it. Yesi's was the same with info, but she was in a cozy pink jammie with kitty ears on it, (the one that both of the girls went home in.) As for him coming early, I hope he does...but not too early. I think if he comes at 36 weeks, that would be just fine. Many Doctors consider that full term anyways. What fun that would be! I'm glad Kailey got to feeling better! I haven't heard from Emily at all, but you know how it is being a new mommy... I'm so freaking out about the late af thing, but it's funny b/c ever since I've been late, I've started thinking...maybe another wouldn't be such a bad idea after all. I"m pretty indecisive about the whole thing though. I just wish that I knew, one way or the other. Jenn- I've heard of drinking raspberry leaf tea. You have to buy the real raspberry leaf though. I used it for Yesenia, and she was born on her due date. My gynecologist gave me strict orders NOT to use it before 36 weeks, b/c she believes that it works. She said she doesn't believe in any home remedies, except that one. Try it! LInda and Diane, HOpe you're both doing well. Love the new photos.
Serge and I have a trip planned...YIPPEE! We are so excited. WE are going for TWO KID FREE DAYS, to a resort casino on the coast of Oregon. It is so beautiful there. It's called Chinook Winds, and it overlooks the Pacific Ocean. We are staying in a King sized suite with a balcony that is right over the beach. I'm really excited for it. The girls are staying with my mom. WE can't wait! I'm going to take another pg test right before we leave, just in case, b/c I don't want to drink if I've got another baby on board. Man that is scary! I'm getting more nervous by the day, b/c I remembered that I was also on antibiotics the first two weeks of my new pill. That would make it even less effective...And the other night, I woke up at 3am and felt like I was going to puke until 4am. It was so bad that I called in sick the next day. On top of that, I've been really tired lately, and had a cold I couldn't shake for 2 months, that I just got over 2 weeks ago. Man, this is so nerve racking! Maybe it's all just a coincidence??? Take care all, Alisha

Jacque, Forgot to say, congrats on the shower! That is wonderful news. It's fun to get new things. I didn't have a shower for Abri, probably b/c she was another girl. If I would have had a boy, I"m sure someone would have thrown one for me. That's okay though, I'm so happy that I have my precious little girl! I keep a baby book for both of my girls. Yesi actually has FOUR, and that's not counting her 5 million photo albums! You know how it is for the first one. Abiryel only has one...poor thing. I got one of my favorite ones at Borders. It's called a mother's book. It has a section all about me, and a section just for her. It's really special. The others I'm not sure where I got them. I think they are very special, and I cherish my baby book from when I was a baby. So, I try to keep them updated. Alisha

Alisha: LIL = Jacque got click happy with the spell check key and had the computer change LOL to LIL on accident, then I was to lazy to go back and change it. So, LIL means nothing.... just supposed to be LOL. --- You know, I am not worried about you being upset or even freaking out about a BFP..... I am more worried about your reaction if you get a BFN. I know that you are NOT set about NOT having another baby, in fact..... if AF shows this time I say it is a pretty safe bet that it will make you rethink your decision not to have anymore..... and within 2 years you are pregnant with #3. --- Your trip sounds great, I have never done anything like that without having Kailey with it..... I think it would be so nice to get away for a few days! --- I remember Abri's bith announcement now.... I just needed a reminder. Where is everyone else??? Jennifer: You know, last last month of pregnancy you have to check in EVERY day so we know that your baby girl is not here!!! Linda: How is work going? Are you down to part time yet? Jacque

I'm still here!!!
And since my posts compplaining about everything make you laugh Jacque, you better make sure you go to the bathroom before you finish reading!!!
I am soooo sick!!!! Well, at least I think I am. For the past 2 days my stomach has hurt so bad (like I am sick, not like pain). Nothing is helping it feel better. I have been trying to just sleep all the time so that I cant feel it hurting.
My chest and upper back pain are a lot less than what I was feeling last week, so at least that is 1 good thing! Except now I am having a ton of crampiness! My mom says that it could be contractions so I am going to ask the DR Friday what he thinks. Mom said when she was havingmy older sister the dr asked her if she was having any contractions and she told him no and then he told her that she was. So maybe I wont realize I am having them?!
We finally went and found where the hospital is that we are delivering at on Saturday. About time huh?! Let me tell you it is a good thing we did!!! It takes 25 minutes to drive there from our house. And it took us 25 minutes to find Labor & Delivery after we got there!!!! Whoever thought that only 1 elevator in the whole hospital couls take you all the way to the 7th floor!!! Seriously!!! We were in 4 elevators before we found the one that could take us to floor 7! And the stupid guy at the help desk wouldn't help any of the 4 people standing at the desk waiting to be helped because he was too busy talking on the phone!!!
I think that is all for complaining right now. I need to lay down again. I'll try to come back later and post a happier message! I promise! I'm really not hating this pregnancy, its ben good. But it needs to be over!!! I want this little girl here!!!

Melissa - where did you get those pics done? They are adorable! Jacque - 7 more working days and I'm officially a part-timer! Yahoo! Baby books: I have a scrapbook for each kid, strictly pictures, and then I have a baby book with all their milestones and stuff in, I got them from Hallmark, I love the ones that look like a binder and you can add pages if you want. Announcement: I printed her stats and picture on a pretty sheet of paper and mailed them out that way. Also, as much as you'd like Garrett to come early (I remember feeling that way) you don't want him to come until 37 or 38 weeks at least, my doctor won't even induce until 39 weeks, no matter what size the baby is, it's too risky with lung development. I think 39 weeks would be just fine for him to induce you, baby won't be too big by then (hopefully! lol) and it's still late enough to make sure baby is developed fully. Luke and Izzy both measured about 5-6 weeks ahead, but the doc still kept my original due date because I was so regular and we knew when they were conceived, that's the most important part, not how big they are. They could be 12 lbs and still not be able to breath on their own. Sorry about the rambling, but I'm a big advocate for this and just want everyone to know! I'm not saying I didn't want my babies out early too, but I listened to my doctor and had healthy babies! Jennifer - sorry you're sick! Hope you feel better soon! Alisha - I still haven't gotten PPAF, so I hear you on that one! I'm not freaking out though, because I got a BFN on my test the other day and I"m starting to get pimples, tell tale sign that AF is on it's way! I can't believe it's been 12 weeks since Izzy was born though! Do you know what? Christmas Eve was my last AF before I got pg with Izzy, wouldn't that be wierd if I got AF on Christmas Eve this year for the first time! It would suck, don't get me wrong, but it would be kind of freaky too! I can't believe it's been a year since I've had an AF, I wish it didn't have to come back! Just reminds me of babies and that we are done.

Saw this on another board and had to share it.......hope it gives you all the laugh it gave me!!! We all know I needed it! The US government has a new website, www.ready.gov, displaying public service symbols for terrorism readiness, in the tradition of the old "duck and cover" campaigns after WWII. The fun thing is that these pictures are so ambiguous they could mean anything! Here are a few guesses about what they mean:
If you have set yourself on fire, do not run.
If you spot terrorism, blow your anti-terrorism whistle. If you are bald, yell really loud.
If you spot a terrorist arrow, pin it against the wall with your shoulder.
If you are sprayed with an unknown substance, stand and think about it instead of seeing a doctor.
Use your flashlight to lift the walls right off of you!
The proper way to eliminate smallpox is to wash with soap, water and at least one armless hand.
Michael Jackson is a terrorist. If you spot this smooth criminal with dead, dead eyes, run away.
Hurricanes, animal corpses and the biohazard symbol have a lot in common. Think about it.
Be on the lookout for terrorists with pinkeye and leprosy. Also, they tend to rub their hands together manically.
If a door is closed, karate chop it open.
If your building collapses, cower under a desk and kiss your ass goodbye.
Try to absorb as much of the radiation as possible with your groin region. After 5 minutes and 12 seconds, however, you may become sterile.
After exposure to radiation it is important to consider that you may have mutated to gigantic dimensions: watch your head.
If you've become a radiation mutant with a deformed hand, remember to close the window. No one wants to see that crap.
If you hear the Backstreet Boys, Michael Bolton or Yanni on the radio, it is a psychological terror attack. Cower in the corner or run like hell.
If your lungs and stomach start talking, stand with your arms akimbo until they stop.
Austin is radioactive, move to Houston.
If you are trapped under falling debris, conserve oxygen by not farting.
If you lose a contact lens during a chemical attack, do not stop to look for it.
Do not drive a station wagon if a power pole is protruding from the hood.
A one-inch thick piece of plywood should be sufficient protection against radiation. Always carry one!

Jennifer - can't wait to see pics of your little one!!!!! Linda - I haven't had PPAF yet either. sometimes I feel weird and think I should pick myself a HPT, but my chances of conceiving without help I am sure is slim Jacque - most docs won't change the due dates. Hey girls - Just here with my daily check in. No baby yet! It has been a pretty boring day here at home. Quentin is off work for the next week so we have just been lounging around most of the day. It was so sweet last night, I was getting ready to go to sleep and I was planning on sleeping on the couch since I sleep better there nowadays. Anyways, Quentin was going to bed then decided he would drag out the air mattress and camp out in the living room with me. So this morning he said he was going to sleep on it every night until Aryanna gets here because he doesnt like sleeping in bed without me. He has the air mattress scooted right up against the couch on the floor. (Kinda makes it hard to get up and pee but oh well.....he looked so peaceful sleeping there everytime I got up last night) So he has just been playing video games most of the day and I have been on the computer talking to some friends or laying down sleeping most of the day. We did however get a little energy and hung up some things in the nursery. We got the letters for her first name, a memory board, the clock, and a frame & mat from our shower that everyone signed hung. I am going to try to finish packing my hospital bag later tonight. I am almost finished packing Aryanna's diaper bag, I just need to add a paci and a few diapers and it should be good to go. I want to be ready in case the doctor sends us to the hospital after our appointment tomorrow. Chrissy - Glad to hear you had a good birthday!!! Sounds like Joe planned a nice little party for you! Don't worry about going crazy shopping for Kira for Christmas! Afterall, it is her 1st Christmas!!! It should be special! DH and I bought a lot of stuff for Aryanna for Chirstmas and she isnt even born yet!!! Linda - That picture of Isabelle is so cute!!! I think that I have that same sleeper for Aryanna (but I could be mistaken.....most pink sleepers look alike to me right now...I know I have a pink one that is striped like that).

HI all, I hope everyone has a Merry Xmas. Don't have much time, b/c I'm have to get packed for our trip. We didn't end up going on Thursday, b/c Abriyel was in the Doctor's office until 9:30 pm. She almost ended up in the hospital! She was super sick with a 102.8 degree fever, gunk coming out of her eye, and red swollen face. The poor baby couldn't breathe right, and had to have her blood drawn and oxygen level taken, and an inner-muscular injection of a super strong antibiotic, (she's had it 3 times in 2 weeks,) injected into her leg. She's got, (big surpise coming up here) another double ear infection, and on top of that conjunctivitis and a sinus infection. She's on antibiotics until she sees the ENT to set up her surgery...ugh! Anyways, we couldn't go on vacation with our baby feeling like that, but she's better now, and so we're going to leave after Xmas for 2 days. We'll only be 45 minutes away from them, so it's okay. We're staying at the same place as I wrote about earlier.
Linda-adorable pics! Diane-Still no af...got another hpt today, and will take tomorrow.
Jacque- You are way more confident in my maybe not being ready to calli t quits that me. I'm pretty sure I'm not pg, but it is weird that I'm so late. I've never been this late before. How are you feeling? How big are you getting??? Why haven't we had an UPDATED BELLY PIC??? I got the Xmas card of Kailey.. Very cute, she's such a little babe. I'm going to hopefully get pics done after we get back from vacation, so my Xmas cards will be a tad bit late, but oh well! You just have 2 more 2 week appts left, and then down to every week, right? You must be getting so excited!
Jenn-Sorry you're sick. Hope your baby gets here soon. Did you try the raspberry leaf tea? That was sweet of your DH to sleep next to you. I can't believe that you waited so long to go find the hospital, you big goof. Glad you did it though. What a punk of the receptionist to be chatting on the phone when people needed help. Some people are so thoughtless. You know what would have been great? You should have had a cup of water that you could poor and grab your stomach so that he would have thought your water was breaking. Scare the crap out of him! Ha Ha Ha! I'm so rotten.
Take care and Merry Xmas to all, Alisha

Just doing my daily check in......still here with no baby.
My appointment today was good. I had only gained 1 pound. Aryanna's HB was high 130s/low 140s. I am measuring right on schedule. And I am 50% thinned and 1 fingertip dilated. So a little bit of progress but not enough! Dr said not to expect her for at least another week.
Sorry this is so short but i need to go lay down. My back is hurting!
