Jacque's to do list before POAS:
Wednesday (today) - I have to interview someone for an upcoming article and I need to help clean Kailey's room and vacuum the upstairs. The upstairs is a disaster since we started the baby's room! I also need to write out the bills.
Thursday: File the massive amount of papers I have and submit paper work that I have been putting off.
Friday: move all of the things from one side of the baby's room to the other... that way we can start painting the last part of the east wall. I also have a Homecoming game to go to and I have update the AOH site.
Saturday: We are going to Morris for the Corn festival...so we will be gone most of the day, but I will clean the van.
Sunday: I have to write my article, host an AOH meeting and it is Football day, but I also need to decorate for Halloween and clean up the attic. that will suck!
Monday: I will work on the east room in the basement and clean the kitchen cabinets.
Tuesday: Test DAY!!!! I will get a positive HPT and do a naked happy dance on Main street... well maybe not. But I will do a happy dance!!

Linda: TODAY IS THE BIG DAY!!!! Are you counting down the minutes until 6:00pm!!! It is only about 9 hours away.... hopefully time will fly by!
Diane: Thanks for starting a new thread for us and for reposting our to do list! DO NOT TEST!!! You symptoms are very promising. This could be it! I feel the same way that you do. I am dying to test, and I have such a positive feeling about this month but at the same time I am scared that I am building myself up for disappointment. BUT yes, I do think I am pregnant!
As for my list, I got everything finished from yesterday except vacuuming the upstairs. So I will have to get to that today!
My interview went perfectly! I met with one of the executives from Bridgeway, a mental health and addiction facility here in town. I even have enough info to write 3 articles, so that is what I am going to do.. I will run them every other week for the next 6 weeks.. Now I just have to decided what to write the weeks in between those.

Laura: I am guessing that Aunt Flow has arrived, and you are felling a bit depressed and that is why you have not posted.... because I know if you got a BFP you would be shouting it to the world! I wanted to let you know that I am here for you, send me an email, personal message or post on our board if you wanna talk.
Also... I was wondering why you choose Gumbi for your screen name... is it for the cartoon character!

Well, I talked to the RE tonight. He said that my ANA was kind of high, but not too bad, he wants me to go see an immunology doctor. He also wants me to get a hysteroscope because he saw a polyp, and then he'll decide if he wants to put me on steriods, heparin shots, baby aspirin, and prednisone. Fun fun! So, I'm out this month. The nurse will call me tomorrow to set everything up. He said everything else was normal though, he mentioned my blocked tube, and DH's SA and that my ovulation test came back abnormal, but that if I'm getting pregnant so easy then he doesn't know why that would be a problem.

Linda: Ok, I have loads of questions! What is ANA and what does it do? Where is the polyp, and is that why he wants to put you on eparin shots, baby aspirin, and prednisone... or is it for something else, and what will the eparin shots, baby aspirin, and prednisone do? Will you be able to start TTC in November? I am glad that your hubby's SA came back normal, and that your ovulation test was also. So was the Dr nice? Did he answer all of your questions and seem like everything was going to be ok???
Diane: 8DPO!!! I have a few more posts to catch up on, and then I will share with you the progress of my to do list!

Jacque - here's the answers to your questions!
What is ANA and what does it do? It's antinuclear antibodies, basically attacks the fetus.
Where is the polyp, - I'm not quite sure where it is, he just said he saw one, that's why I'll need the hysteroscope, then if there is anything inside my uterus causing problems they can fix it.
and is that why he wants to put you on heparin shots, baby aspirin, and prednisone... or is it for something else, and what will the heparin shots, baby aspirin, and prednisone do? the heparin, baby aspirin & prednisone is for the ANA I believe
I found this little snipit on the internet, I think this is what the doctor thinks I have and why he wants me to see an immunologist to make sure before putting me on all the meds.
Immune System Problems A developing baby is half made up of foreign genetic material from the father. Some women have repeated miscarriages because their bodies see each baby as an invading organism and attack it with antibodies. Ordinarily, many elements of the immune system work together to ensure that the mother's body does not reject the baby. But when this coordination fails, a miscarriage follows. Treatments for such problems in the immune system are experimental and should not be tried until other causes for repeated miscarriage have been ruled out. Some research centers have tried to "immunize" the mother with the father's white blood cells, but so far without good results.
Certain autoimmune diseases and abnormalities also increase the risk of miscarriage. Women whose blood contains certain types of antibodies are at particularly high risk. These women may have no symptoms other than trouble retaining a pregnancy, but a blood test can determine whether the antibodies are present. If so, heparin, prednisone, and aspirin during pregnancy can help prevent miscarriage. About 70 to 75 percent of women with lupus-associated antibodies who are treated with these drugs are able to deliver. In any case, if you have these blood abnormalities, you should have your doctor watch you closely. The baby may grow too slowly or develop other complications.
Will you be able to start TTC in November? not sure! Hope so!
I am glad that your hubby's SA came back normal, and that your ovulation test was also. So was the Dr nice? yes, he was very nice!
Did he answer all of your questions and seem like everything was going to be ok??? Yeah, he kept saying, lets get this all done so that we can get you pregnant!
how did you get so much stuff into your signature box??? I used tinypic.com, they are great for short links!

Well, we decided to wait until January to TTC again. I don't want to be 8 weeks pg when I go on my cruise in January, since I have such a high risk of m/cing. Plus, I may be on meds and stuff, and don't want to deal with it. So, I'm going to use this time to get in shape so I can look good in a bathing suit!
