Well, since Aalissa is no longer with us Jennifer and I decided to start our own buddy group. So, if you wanna listen to a couple of gals in their early pregnancy chat and complain then feel free to read and even JOIN us, we will do our best to keep up.... but remember early pregnancy is not easy! hi girls! just wanted to peek in though not pregnant,lol......this is a very long pregnancy for me! jenn and jacque the two of you have been super sweet to everyone!!!dont let anyone get to you especially that you are pregnant! no need for anyones games! her loss ruining meeting great friends who are here when you need them for support and try to for each of us!!!!every time i check out my post the two of you have awesome things to say and i thank you both!!!!!! i had to tell you that, hope you dont mind! i popped in cause i am expecting too, lol......love ya girls!!!!have a wonderful day! hopefully today isnt as hot here!!!!!!stay well, feel good and God bless!!!!!hugs chrissy

Well...I am here. Having a rough morning! I got an email from the ultrasound place where I am going to get my ultrasound done on the 3rd and they said that I have to have a copy of the diagnostic report of my 2nd trimester ultrasound or just a copy of the picture I will get from it. And if I dont have it they wont do the ultrasound!!! I am sooooo hoping that I still get to go and have it done! Or maybe my doctor will give me an ultrasound before that?! UGH!!! I'll let you know.
Jacque ~ How are you feeling this morning? Morning sickness still getting you down? How many days until school starts back up in your area? I bet you are ready for a break from all the kids. I know I would be!!!

Chrissy ~ Glad to see you over here!!! I think I can answer for myself and Jacque in saying that we dont mind you posting here at all!!! I mean after all, you are expecting a baby too!!! I pray for you everyday that little Kira gets home to you soon!!! I can't wait to see the pictures of her with you and Joe! --- I totally understand being sick of the hot weather!!! It was 101 here yeaterday...105 after you add in the heat index!!! It is supposed to get up to 98 today before the heat index! --- Talk to you soon!

Good Morning girls, I feel like crap!!!! Over the last few weeks I have barely left the house..... not just because of the heat, or all of the kids, but mainly because I do not want to puke in walmart. Needless to say I am going to try to force myself to leave the house today. I only have three kids and I need to get some things done. I pray that I make it back home without having to run to the bathroom 8 million times. Anyway, I know my morning sickness could be alot worse, I know that Amanda had a hard time when she was pregnant with Lexi, and I do not have it near as bad as her...
Chrissy: Hi girly! You are so sweet!!! Thanks for all of the kind words.
Jennifer: Sorry about all of the u/s crap, I wonder if Linda had to have the report and all of that to have hers done. You might want to drop her a line to get her input. HAPPY 15 weeks. Ok, I gotta get out of here while I still feel half way decent! Jacque PS: I think we are going to do Belly Shots today, it all depends on if I can stay awake long enough... lol |

Jennifer: Have you tried to hear your babies hearbeat yet? I know you mentioned getting a doppler, but I can't remember if you posted about trying it.....

Well Quentin called the ultrasound place and talked to them about having to have that report. He said the email I got was just a generic one from their headquarters in Texas and in Texas they are required to have proof that a doctor has done a 2nd trimester ultrasound before they can. But here in Georgia they dont need it and I am still able to go!!! I am so happy!
No, I haven't tried to use the doppler since like the day after we bought it. Maybe I will try again later today. I just ate lunch and you have to wait 3-4 hours after eating.
Jacque ~ Glad you are feeling alittle better and are up to getting out of the house today! Hopefully you will make it through your trip without too many bathroom stops! Can't wait to see your belly shots! Praying that you are up to it later!!

Jacque ~ How are you feeling this morning? I'm doing okay, I guess. Did you take your belly shots last night? I sure hope so!!! Oh...and how did your trip to WalMart go?
I got a lot of news yesterday. You know how Quentin was supposed to go to that class in Mississippi next month? Well, they changed his class date to Sept 25th now! I was upset about it at first but I am coming around. He is going to find out if he cant take off the week of Aug 20-26 because my sister's baby shower is on the 20th and I have been so excited about getting to go home for our county fair and he doesnt want me to have to miss it for the 3rd year in a row. He even said that if he cant get the week off, he would take me up on the 19th and come back and get me on the 26th. He is so sweet. So now I will be going home around September 23rd and staying for 5 weeks. It kinda works out better because i will be able to be home most of October and my cousin is going to throw my baby shower in October now so I wont have to make a special trip up there. They only bad thing is that I wont get to be with Quentin on his birthday, which is Oct 8th.  ----- Do you think it would be too early for a baby shower in October? I will be between 25 and 29 weeks when the shower is thrown. Just wondering because my sister's shower wont be held until she is almost 36 weeks.
Okay for my next big news ---- Quentin got a call that he won a drawing at a local restuarant for a 4 day, 3 night Bahama cruise!!! Of course, he had his cell phone on vibrate so we didn't hear it ringing.. He just realized he had a voice mail when we were going to bed. So he has to call them and find out the details today. Still waiting to hear from him about what he finds out. From the info on the vioce mail, it is a cruise through a travel agency here. They pay for the lodging and food, not sure what else. And we have 18 months to take the trip. I hope it isnt a scam. I mean he really did put his name in for the drawing so hopefully it isnt. And to think, I made fun of him for entering!!!

UGH!!!!! Just when I get things planned everything gets screwed up!!! Sometimes I hate the military life! Quentin just called and they moved his instructor class AGAIN!!! Looks like I am going to Ohio next month like we originally thought. His class was moved back to August 14th and is going to be in Texas instead of Mississippi. It's not bad...I mean I really want to go home. BUT we just got everything planned for my trip home in September/October...including my baby shower! Now that all has to change!

Remember that everything happens for a reason, and it will all work out for the best in the end. I am taking a belly shot today, I am now 10 weeks, and it is about time. I kept saying I was going to do it for the last 7 days and now I have managed to put it off for an entire week.... Hey, did you get the call back about the trip? Sorry, I didnt update you on the trip. I had thought that I already did. Oh well, here goes. We aren't taking it. Quenitn finally got ahold of the people and it ends up all that was "free" was the cruise to the Bahamas and back. We would still have to pay for the registration fees, port fees, hotel taxes, food & drink for the 4 days. And with just the fees and taxes it was going to be about $400. So $400, plus food, plus gas for driving clear down to Florida and back. it just wasn't going to be worth it to us.
Yay!!! I am so glad you are taking your belly pic!!! I have been waiting to see it!!! I am going to take one today too.. I never got around to taking one of saturday. I wasn't feeling well over the weekend.
